  1. Very nice hotel. Check-in staff was very sweet. Room was large and very clean and in good condition. Very quiet at night, not even road noise in the room we were in The location is JUST off I-75 and a good area with 2 walking distance restaurants. My only minor complaints were no extra toilet paper and had to get some at front desk and the bed is directly beside the air conditioner that blows right on you. Other than that the stay and price were great.

  2. This is an older building but…. very clean, spacious and quiet. Apple Bees is next door for people that are hungry and need a bite to eat. You also have a complimentary breakfast that is nice for you to grab a bite and start your day, This was a very nice home away from home. I was pleasantly surprised….I will definitely visit this establishment again .

  3. These aren’t hotel rooms these are apartments!!

If you’re hauling livestock and don’t want to keep them in their trailer, just bring em inside with you. I promise there is more than enough room for them.
Matter of fact…just park the car in there. Yea just pull into the hallway and drive your vehicle in the room; I promise you won’t hit anything there’s so much space in there lol. Gobs of room in the one bed rooms. Everything was clean, neat, and smelled like good ole fresh hotel. The A/C is so cold it feels like real live polar bears in the vents and the walls are pretty well insulated.
In an emergency or on a budget, I’m thinking you could honestly roll maybe 5 or more beds (depending on the size of course) in one room and be good arranging them to fit. Bring sleeping bags and hit the floor and you probably won’t touch the person beside you. Floors were really clean. I had on white socks and walked around and they were still clean before I put my shoes back on. The bathrooms were very clean and neat. The staff there was very professional and courteous and very knowledgeable on the surrounding area.

I would DEFINITELY stay at another Best Western!!!

  4. Nice place to stay. Kid friendly. Very kind and attentive staff. Pool was clean. Rooms were clean. Applebees is across the parking lot, so easy access for dinner, plus you get 10% for being a hotel guest. Haven’t tried the breakfast yet, but they have a full menu that looks good.

  5. Decent, but I’m not sure it’s worth what I paid for one night.

As soon as I walked into the lobby, I was hit with a strong odor (like a strong cleaning solution… and I’m not usually that sensitive to smells). Then, I get to my room, and it has another strong odor (which I can’t put my finger on). However, I can tell a noticeable difference in my breathing. On the other hand, I’ve been driving 8 hrs, and I just want to sleep. Not to mention, an older man was already berating the front desk associate, and I don’t want to add any more stress to that poor lady’s night. I’ve stayed in 4 different hotels in the last 5 nights, and this is one isn’t my favorite choice.

I will say that the staff seemed friendly, the TV had channels for my son, the beds were good, and the shower was nice and hot (with good drainage). The soap also lathered, which was a plus. The toilet lid wasn’t on tight, but no big deal.

All in all, not my best choice over the last week, but it was a decent place to stay (just overpriced, in my opinion).

When we arrived at our room, the room itself was very spacious, but it had a very strong cigarette and weed odor as if a group of people just had a party in there 20 minutes before we arrived. We were travelling with a 2 year old, so that ambience didn’t fit the occasion. We unfortunately booked the last available room at the property for the night that we stayed due to a missed connection at ATL airport so requesting a different room wasn’t even a different option and given the late hour and the fact that we already paid $295, changing hotels wasn’t an option either. The couch in the room was not a pull out couch so our daughter had to sleep on the floor on the couch cushions which were torn and frayed. The breakfast was good, but they were out of a bunch of things. They didn’t have any milk, which made for an unhappy 2 year old and the coffee machine was broken, which made for unhappy parents. I will say that all of the staff were really nice and helpful. The lady that cleaned our room the morning we checked out was kind enough to offer us anything we needed as she cleaned other rooms in the hallway. We paid $295 for our one night stay and all in all, it was NOT worth anywhere near that price given the condition of the room and property and missing amenities.

We called in after midnight to book a room. They answered immediately & was speedy to accommodate us. 1. Need more space for parking lot. It was super crammed. 2. We were told there was a fold out couch/bed. Night manager made it right & we were pleased. 3. Breakfast was a NIGHTMARE. 4. The room we resided in had an unpleasant smell. I’ve been all other Best Westerns & had no issues, except this one. I’m not the usual type to leave negative reviews, but this ranked in the negative in my opinion.

The hotel was clean, but had no soap in the bathroom in our room to wash hands, & the evening & morning staff told me they didn’t have a sharps container. I would definitely recommend they get one for their guests. I had to put my injection into a Gatorade bottle instead of proper disposal. Overall would stay again!

I was very pleased with the property and staff here, everything was smooth. My room 505 was in excellent condition, no hair on anything, no grime, or weird odors.
The young woman that checked me in on Oct 2, 2022 was fantastic, as well as Brittany, at check-out.
There’s a Mcdonalds in walking distance, a few stores a bit further away, transportation is good.

Visitors be aware….call before coming. We reserved 6 rooms well in advance. They were paid for prior to coming. And once we arrived some rooms were not found in the system. Fortunately, we all had record of reservations and payments. The staff seemed to not care, but we were determined to get the rooms we paid for. We had to call the booking company to contact them, before some of us could get into our rooms. We could not get into the pool, due to issues with the hotel, although we were told over the phone days before coming that everything was fine. Our key cards would deactivate several times a day. It was extremely frustrating to go to your room with an arm full of stuff to have a key not work. The parking lot was too small, if you are going to be out sightseeing there may not be a parking space available for you to park. With all of the disappointments with this hotel, I personally would not recommend it or book another stay here.

Stayed here for a night, because I had to move my niece back into school the next day. The hotel was clean and smelled liked lemons. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. The staff spoke and greeted us every time we left and came back. The rooms were also very clean which made it even better. They also had a full breakfast bar the next morning and the grits were pretty good. This will be my go to place to stay when I am in Valdosta.

We had such a wonderful experience while staying here! The customer service was top-notch and the hotel sparkles. The lobby is usually the nicest/cleanest part of a hotel, and that was true for this hotel, but the rooms were just as nice! Everything is very clean and well-maintained. The pool area has a lovely hot tub and the hotel is pet-friendly. Loved this place!

Was just passing through and got tired before my intended destination and made an unplanned stop here. I usually stay at the “higher end” properties when traveling for work but was pleasantly surprised by this Best Western. The room was very spacious and very clean. The staff were so nice, even cleaning staff the next morning in the elevator asked if I enjoyed my room. She seemed very genuinely interested. I got the feeling the staff actually enjoy working here and it shows. I recommend this hotel.

Oh my! This is an outstanding property! The lobby and rooms are very clean! And inviting! The staff goes beyond the expectations to make your stay comfortable. We left car keys and an inhaler in the room as we left. Housekeeping quickly took them to the front desk and they called us immediately so we could come back to get them. This is a Must stop on your way to Florida.

We were displaced during our beach vacation due to Hurricane Ian. We have 4 small children and reserved our room when mandatory evacuations were issued.
Outstanding hotel! Clean, safe, comfortable and a well cared for hotel. We got there around 11:30pm. The receptionist (William?) was quick to get us checked in and he was pleasant and helpful. Our room was super clean and cozy. It was great having the little extra living room area for two of our kids and a blow up bed we had. Breakfast was hot and good for hotel food. Great staff. They were quick to accommodate everyone’s needs and to replenish the buffet. One of my kiddos left his stuffed animal in our room and our card was deactivated since it was just after 11 but a sweet house keeper was quick to unlock the door for us.
My kids also played in the pool for about 30 minutes and only had great things to say about the pool.
Just a great place overall. Hopefully it remains this way.

We had such a great stay at this hotel. The staff was incredible! What kind people! Breakfast was hot, the room was clean, and the indoor pool was perfect for my family. It was convenient to I-95 and lots of restaurants. None of us wanted to leave! The only detail I didn’t see is it’s pet friendly, but there were no smells that made you realize until you actually saw an animal! Great stay!

Great hotel, clean rooms, salt water pool, Ben at the front desk for the evening shift is great! Loved our chat with him about the area. Our beds were comfortable. This is an older hotel, clean & very well kept. There is a nice pet walking area and outdoor patio area. We stopped here instead of paying high prices for a Savannah hotel and I feel like Richmond Hill was a gem. We skipped the hotel breakfast–it had eggs, sausage, pancakes and opted to eat at a local small business. Afterwards we drove around and enjoyed the beautiful community before the noon check out. If you like small towns, you will this hotel and the area.

We are super picky with where we stay. My husband and I were on our way home from North Carolina to Florida and we got stuck in a torrential downpour. We decided to continue our travel the following day. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice of hotels. This Best Western Plus was very clean and the front desk attendants and staff were super nice! The price was great as well! All in all, it was a great choice! If you are going through Richmond Hill, Georgia and are looking for a place to stay for a great price, we highly recommend this hotel! Thank you Best Western Plus… you did not disappoint! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay there!

This Best Western Plus is literally within eyesight of 95. Gas stations and restaurants are also close. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are kept clean. This is a great motel to relax and refresh. The breakfast options are plentiful and fresh. The employee that keeps everything clean, fresh and the coffee hot, is constantly working to keep on top of it all. Definitely recommend this motel.

Our second or third time staying at this hotel. Customer service, check-in, and room was excellent. The breakfast was great. We can highly recommend this hotel. Very easy to find off I-95 and plenty of well lit parking.

We enjoyed a very clean, comfortable stay at this Best Western Plus. We were welcomed at check-in by Morgan. She was very polite, professional & just a Sweetie.
We only ate Yogurt at breakfast, as we were heading to Savannah to dine at Huey’s On The River.
Any time I’m passing through Brunswick Georgia, and need lodging, this Best Western Plus, will be my choice…

I’ll start with the good. Friendly clerk at counter when we checked in. We had plenty of hot water and water pressure and the bed was comfortable. Now the not so good. Weird, musty smell was very overpowering as soon as we walked in to the room and EVERYTHING felt damp from the towels to the bedding and carpet. Turned on the light in the bathroom and saw a roach scurry into the
shower curtain. I would not recommend.

Not the best we have ever been at. The room are not very spacious, very cramped feeling. The entrance to the hotel is a prime example of this, bairly enough room for 2 cars to past each other. Room service skipped our room completely, not sure why. Luckily we were only there for 2 nights. Front desk was very nice, even when they had to move my brother in law to a different room because of maintenance that couldn’t have been rescheduled. In our room, I couldn’t change the ac but luckily (again) it still worked and got the room to a cool temp.

I have stayed at worse but if I had the option to go somewhere else, I would.

The photos are what you see. The place was well kept and the staff was friendly. The breakfast consist of the regular stuff like muffins, cereal, pancakes, and waffles. They also had eggs and meat.

However, there were a few incidents that raised my brow. I reserved an accessible room with a king bed and sofa bed. I planned to use both beds and needed the extra space. The room they assigned had a broken sofa bed. When we called to report it, they already knew. My question is why would you rent out the room with a broken bed. They moved us to another room with double beds which was much smaller. I took it because I didn’t want to leave the 1st floor since the elevator was not working while we were there. On our last day there, the breakfast room had an electrical fire. We were informing the staff but they just continued to fold the linens and this did not appear to be an urgent matter for them. I mean the wall was literally on fire and sparking and the guest had to grab the fire extinguisher to put out the flames. Guest called the fire dept.
I’m assuming the front desk staff called eventually, but I wouldn’t know because she was sitting the whole time. As the firemen we’re leaving they told them next time pull the fire alarm so other guest know there is a fire in the bldg and we should have been evacuated. So I would say the staff should get training on dealing with emergency situations and learn the best responses, inform their guest when their rooms are not in working order to give them the option to change their rooms before they “move in”, and get soap dishes for your rooms. They are inexpensive and will add to the decor and cleaness of the bathrooms. Nothing worse than using slimy soap bc you have no where to put it.
