Great experience from when we first walked in. We were immediately greeted. The burgers were delicious (Hotter than hell & BBQ bacon cheddar), as well as the strawberry milkshake, and mac ‘n cheese. And I ordered a large fries it was a little over $4 and use to give your considerable amount, now it about the size of a medium fry at McDonald’s. I order a strawberry milk shake that had to many strawberry crumbs and they gave me a regular straw to drink my milk shake which was impossible. I’m sad to say I will never go back there again. My wife got her usual plain cheeseburger but said it was juicy and very filling for a single. I got a single and could barely finish mine. I was like you once. The constant struggle of looking for a new Burger joint to satisfy those burger loving needs.But then.. I finally came here for the first time.. and my life changed.
First the onion rings, amazing!! Crunchy, fluffy, juicy, Excellent!!
Next the cheese sticks. Filling, THICK, flavorful, simply good as heck!!
Followed by the fries with a cup of cheese! The fries on their own are exceptional sweet and salty, BUT THEN THAT CHEESE HITS and it’s like damn this is amazing. Best comparison would be portillo’s cheese.
AND FINALLY the burger. I had the bacon cheeseburger and let me tell you. This is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Juicy, moist, tasty, steamy, ALL THE THINGS A BURGER SHOULD BE.
In conclusion, please visit burger city. You need to try this. I guarantee it won’t be your last visit!
By Sega Sean (6 months ago)Came in with wife and three kids, the check was about 60 dollars. My “fish and chips” was two pressed fish sandwhich patties that were dripping in oil. It tasted really bad. We threw away instead of taking home. I made myself something else when we got home. Kids burgers were fine, nothing to write home about. Fries were good.The quality that night wasn’t there for the asking price. I rarely give less than three stars but my meal was really bad. Someone needs to rethink that menu item big time.

I typically don’t eat burgers, but I got the Elote Burger and it was so good. My burger was cooked to a medium and I give it a 4 cause it was a little dry. Overall it was a great combination of flavors and I enjoyed it still since the toppings made it moist.
Also our server was also very nice and super attentive.

I have been living in the area for 5 or 6 years. This is my first visit to here, and I wish I had come and tried way earlier.
The burgers are delicious with HUGE high quality Patties. The price is great for the burgers they offer. It is like, you are paying at a five-guys price for a 1.5x delicious and size of five-guys burger.
I will come back often.
First time dining here yesterday and I will definitely be back. The service was great, all staff was friendly and the food was really good!! They have plenty of different types of specialty burgers to choose from along with building your own as well. In order for the place to be considered top tier, you have to have really good fries too!! Needless to say, the fresh cut fries were really good and they are not stingy with the portions either!! My only negative mark I would give for this visit, is I asked for my burger to be cooked medium and it was past well done. I’m sure it was just a mistake by the cook, because my friend asked for medium and his was cooked properly. All in all, great place with excellent options, food and customer service!!
The staff is great! Since I’m vegan I love the Build your own veggie burger. They have a nice selection of toppings to choose from. Love the sweet potato fries & the special sauce.

The majority reviews of this restaurant were so good I had to see for myself, as I love a good burger. Just on the southern outskirt of downtown Chicago, located at 1900 South State Street, “The Burger Point” did not disappoint. We were a party of 10. Everyone ordered something different, from the variety of burgers and wings options, and everyone loved their meal. I had the Build Your Own Burger. ALL of their burgers are made with grass-fed beef. I built my own burger with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, Swiss cheese, pickles and bourbon mushrooms. I enjoyed it with a side of truffle salt fries. I also asked for a sample of their Asian wings. Everything was delicious.
