  1. I had a bacon cheeseburger lettuce tomato mayo fried onions bleu cheeses crumbles and mushrooms. First the burger was huge the bun was fresh all my toppings were fresh tons of mushrooms and bleu cheese. I also ordered the onion rings my only comment will be they were okay I wish I had gotten the fries.Overall the burger was delicious no skimping on any toppings. I decided to eat in it did not look like what I expected tables needed to be wiped off. The dunning area could use a quick overhall This is a great place to order a great burger and pick up although I like my food hot so I usually dine in. The price was not bad at all. I will go back ti try their wings Awesome burger

  2. I love this place. Love it love it love it! I easily come here every week. I bring my out of town friends. I will use every and any excuse to get a burger here. I miss the fanta birch beer but that’s likely not a choice made by restaurant staff. My favorite burgers ever!!

  3. I have been coming here for the past 8 years and Have no complaints. I used to go to 5 guys but until I discovered this place I had not been back since. Everything is amazing from the Burger’s fries shakes and all

  4. Absolutely delicious burger and fries. Pricey, but worth it, in my opinion. Patties are cooked well, was not asked how I prefer it, but was not upset since the pattie wasn’t charred.

  5. Awesome little spot to grab a burger and fries. The black bean burger is surprisingly good. Fries are excellent! You won’t be disappointed. Much better, in my opinion, than the more well known burger shack that opened up down the street winkwink.

My new favorite fast food place! This is a non-meat eaters paradise. I’ll never miss meat with how realistic and flavorful the spicy chicken sandwich was. The fries were crisp and juicy. I also liked the chicken nuggets but were a little overpriced. Tried the bacon burger after hearing people liked it but I thought it was a sloppy mess. Still, Can’t wait to come back again to try more!

Ive ordered from plant burger many times, but this review is solely based on my last experience ordering online. The food was terrible . It came quickly, but the pic below is blooming onion petals they looked nothing like what received, oily and burnt.

Our fries were soggy (I mean they could have popped the whole in the card board, the sandwichs fungi were the worst ones I’ve ever ordered oily and overcooked.

I’m going to come back, because I know they have quality solid food in store, but I’m never ordering online from them again.

PLNT burger was absolutely amazing! Meat deprived?! This place will definitely fulfill that void lol burger was extremely tasty and the fries were so good. Had me side eyeing like, “y’all sure this is not real cheese on here?” Lol 😆 10/10!!

So delicious! Got the fish filet sandwich and it was tasty, a little too much sauce I had to take off the buns. None the less very delicious would ask for light sauce next time. The sweet potato fries are amazing, the mandarin cardamom drink is order by the gallon and the chocolate chip cookies are the reason I wrote this review. Wish I bought two!!

A very good, sloppy burger. My only critique is that the salt levels are a little high. Vegan meat and cheese usually have a bit extra salt to enhance flavor. I think that pushes the whole package overboard when you include the traditional salty elements of a burger.

Excellent fries but a little salty when paired with the burger.

Your palate may vary, though. I’d probably skip the cheese if I were to go again.

We picked up take out and loved it – from order to ready, maybe 15 minutes. The large fries fed four of us. I adored the Royal Mountie burger, which is a patty topped with gravy, cheese curds, and fries, aka a poutine burger. Also enjoyed: Clark Burger, Charmer Burger, and original burger. Recommended! They have outdoor seating if you’re dining in.

So many fry options! I liked the fries, especially the crabby fries! I added grilled onions to the crabby fries and they were so good. The garlic fries were kind of bland and the garlic was too overpowering. I was just eating chunks of garlic at some points. If there was a bit more cheese and salt on the garlic fries then I think they would’ve been better.

    Visited for lunch on Sunday.
Unfortunately Google map directions had me looking for Mix Ct. which is basically an unmarked alley.
The shop is easy to spot on York Rd., so why google says to turn on Mix Ct. is a mystery.
Now, I must admit that the parking lot is in fact on Mix Ct., so in that respect it is good to find the alley, but just be aware it is immediately adjacent on the north side of the restaurant.
    Enough about getting there.
Once inside, small, but comfortable place.
We ordered standard Clark Burgers, with some edits to the toppings.
All the burgers were quite large, very fresh & cooked perfectly.
Bun was also very fresh and had a good flavor.
We also ordered a poutine to share.
It was good, but I prefer the cheese curds to be a little melty and these curds were literally refrigerator cold, on top of the hot gravy & fries.
The fries were good quality and the gravy had a nice rich flavor.
The bar area offers beers & cocktails, so seems like a fun place to hangout.
    Overall a very good experience.

Great spot for burgers and the poutine is a delicious twist on your standard side of fries. I got the Clark burger and classique poutine- both were amazing. You order at the counter and they bring your food is it’s casual. I enjoyed sitting outside and I’d say at least half of the seating is outdoor so it’s great on a nice day. Cold beer, pizza, and poutine on a nice afternoon- it doesn’t get much better than that.

I have died and gone to Putine heaven!
My husband, daughter, m-i-l and me drove almost two hours to try phenomenal discovery.
1 day, hubby was searching for eateries that serve Putine. He came across this one a few months ago. So to continue celebrating his moms birthday (October) he suggests taking her here.
So, so glad we did! We got the Clark burger and original Putine (gravy and cheese curds on boardwalk like FF). The burger was cooked perfectly on a brioche roll. It had lettuce and red onions with a special sauce (thousand island?). And the gravy, uh, so good. It was well flavored (did I taste old bay?) over top amazing fries and Ccccheeeeese curds! Delicious!
Hubby said his grilled cheese on Texas toast and plain fries were GOOD! And he’s an aficionado of fries!
To conclude, we will be coming back in the spring! Maybe sooner ;-)😜

Great place! They serve food later than most places in the neighborhood, and the food seems quite good. Friend got a burger, I got the loaded waffle fries. All of it was very good! Staff were very friendly, and the place was filled with regulars (according to the bartender)… And in my book, anywhere with many regulars is a good place to be. It’s kind of tucked away in an alley and not readily visible from the street, but I’d highly encourage you to give it a try. Ample indoor seating, and a nice sized bar. Sorry for the weird angle menu photos… The light reflection was tricky to deal with.

04/17/2022 EDIT: We stopped by here again since we were in the neighborhood and to give it a second chance. I only ordered sides, whe my fiance order the Baltimore Burger. The 911 sauce wings were crispy and hot. The fries were also hot and well seasoned! My fiance said his burger was on the heavy side so don’t order it unless you’re starving! I will still give it 4 stars, customer service was great, but the service is kinda slow even though only one other customer was there.

EDIT: I’ve updated my review from 3 stars to 4 stars for excellent customer service. I contacted the manager and we were able to sort things out. I will be back soon to give them another try.

Our burgers came out kind of cold and the duck wasn’t anything special and dry.

Pretty good burger, fries were fine. They do give you a BYO form to make your own burger. Burger was THICK, and the bun was highly toasted. Pretty good flavors too. The environment is an old pub feel, not the most clean. Overall, no real complaints, but nothing too impressive beyond the food.

I had it and I LOVE IT!!! This place Burger is the best I have ever had!!!
    Yes! It’s that good.
I had the Baltimore Burger and I was amazed how tasty the burger was.
Everything is soooo well balanced for this burger.
Some burger can be too greasy or dry, but here everything in the Baltimore Burger is just about right.
    I mean WOW!!!
The old bay seasoning on the wings were also great too.
The staffs here were very friendly and very helpful.
If you are in DMV you got to check out this place.

Why are you still reading this review?

    Go now!!! Check out yourself.

I don’t know if our experience was unique or if the whole restaurant was having an off night, but I did not have a great meal here.

We visited on a Thursday and from start-to-finish the service was disconnected. They seem to split responsibilities so you can only order food and drink from separate people. That makes it difficult to put drink orders in because the bar staff did not visit tables much after the other server took our food order. We also struggled to get our check after asking for it from multiple people. I ended up having to awkwardly stand by the bar after ~20 min and begging ANOTHER person for help because we were really desperate to get out of there.

In terms of the food, my husband and I both got burgers that had a smoked element. They were both way on the sweet side, with the smokiness overpowered everything else. I don’t know if Abbey burger legitimately smokes stuff or if they use liquid smoke, but neither of us could stand to finish our burgers. The other diner with us got the Baltimore burger and expressed that it was fine. At our table, we also tried the alligator bites, which were unassuming but fine.

Between the 3 of us, we also tried the house-made chips, the onion rings ($3 upcharge), and the waffle fries ($4 upcharge). The chips were pretty burnt/bitter and didn’t even have much seasoning. We threw salt on them, but didn’t really stick since they were cooled. Didn’t finish them. The onion rings were fine, but the coating reminded me of pancake batter from the sweetness of it. The waffle fries were rock-hard. 🪨🤦‍♀️ Not sure if they were old fries that were re-fried or if they just sat in the oil for a long time. They weren’t warm, so I assume they’d been lying around dying somewhere. (Did I mention they were an extra $4??)

Credit I can give to the staff is that they re-fired the waffle fries no problem. New batch tasted fine, albeit it still lacked seasoning. I guess the kitchen isn’t big on salt? 🤷‍♀️

They’re getting 2 stars out of me only for the fact that 1/3 burgers was ok + alligator bites were palatable. I would neither recommend nor return Abbey Burger since food and service were all disappointing.

Mostly everything tasted good. Service was very friendly but a bit on the slow side. Lots of dishes with crab dip on them and all tasted good. The chips were actually tastier than I expected, seems home made and not just out of a bag. The fries were disappointing, they were over cooked and a bit burnt and too hard. Everything else was good.

Awesome, low key tavern and restaurant at Fell’s Point, straight across from the Admiral Fell Inn. Delicious burgers with wild game options, excellent bar food too. Plus an amazing beer list that is sure to please. We enjoyed catching a game there too.

Service was fast. We ordered the crab bites and game meat sliders (meat selection is seasonal: mine came with elk, antelope and third one that I cannot recall). I do remember only enjoying the elk, but I appreciated the exotic selection. The price was reasonable. I’d try it out for yourself.

Just like what I expected. Perfect burgers, and no doubt best burger place ever.
I have tried a lot of and this is for sure is the best. They have exceptional burgers, and worth a journey to Baltimore to have them.

The sampler includes, camel, lamb, and elk patty

Good service, food and price. They have a great beer menu and many burger options for both toppings options and meats (including vegetarian options).
    Worth the visit.
