  love to see vegan restaurants in MI! they are so hard to come by in my area, so the drive was worth it! Amazing vegan smoothies, burgers, sandwiches, and sides! My friends and I weren’t in to the macaroni, but we all flipped over the vegan oreo milkshake & the vegan hash & the vegan potato salad.

  I love Unburger Grill! They have amazing fast casual vegan food. I wish I lived closet because I’d go more often, but it’s always a treat. Their burgers and fries are very good, and they have a vegan dessert selection as well. Nice outdoor seating corridor in the back with convenient parking. The staff is always super kind. Definitely try to stop by. There are so many options, it’s easy to try something new every time. Prices are very reasonable.

  I kept hearing that I had to try this place since moving back to Michigan. Finally had the chance yesterday, and I was not disappointed! I had the All Day Breakfast Burger and chili cheese fries. Everything was delicious so I grabbed two desserts to go. I will definitely be back. Staff was very friendly as well!

  I love this place. So happy to have a completely plant-based/vegan restaurant right in the middle of downtown West Dearborn. I like their burgers and chili cheese fries~

  I highly recommend them, even if you’re only just working on reducing your meat consumption as all their food is delicious and made with love!

  It’s rare that I take the time to add reviews but this place deserves another 5 star rating. More if I could. I got the volcano burger, but I subbed crispy chicken for the beef patty. It was soooo good, great jalapeño flavor in different forms – poppers and fresh. My girlfriend got the Cool Ranch Supreme and she loved it too (I had a bite and can confirm it is amazing). We shared west coast style fries which were amazing as well. Overall, it was an amazing experience and I WISH there was one near me so I could have this regularly. Will be returning during any trips to Michigan!

  Their beef patties are the most flavorful and juiciest that I’ve ever had. You don’t get such good flavour in Toronto specially for beef patty. We ordered BBQ, Volcano, Ali’s Nacho and Hawaiian burgers. All were very tasty and juicy as you’d like it.

  Only reason for 4stars is that this location is inside the gas station and I found the guy working at gas station counter a bit rude.

  What a great place. The burgers were amazing. We also got onion rings, curly fries and lemon pepper fries. Everything was fresh and took only about 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly, as well. Highly recommend going here.

  Haven’t had Taystee’s in over 5 years and yesterday I decided to get some. It was just as I remembered. We got the Volcano & Taystee’s Special burger with a side of curly fries. A yummy rich taste that satisfied my burger and fries craving.

  Wish this place was in Chicago as well. Visited this place back in 2019 and was amazed to see the choice of halal burger options. Their burgers were one of the best burger which i had considering halal food. Service was great and the portion was sufficient to satiate my cravings. Must place to visit and eat if you are in Detroit or Dearborn.

  We really had a great experience. Had the same waitress the past 2 times and she was fun and friendly. This restaurant and The great people who work there give you past hometown feelings. Exactly what you would want when you were sitting at the counter.

  Was it Shakespeare who said, “A White Castle by any other name is a White Castle?” If so, he was waxing poetic about Bates’ Burgers. First timers beware: If you don’t drive in the right way, park the right way, and order the right way, Bates’ customers and/or staff may tear you a new one. On my initial visit, the gal who “greeted” me at the door went so far as to tell me I couldn’t eat inside because they were just too busy to man the counter that day. Um, okay. So, I ordered from the pick-up window and then went back to my car and waited for my name to be called over the loudspeaker in the lot. Yeah, it was all worthwhile. The grill top, slider-sized burgers with griddled onions and cheese were as God intended on the day He created little white diners, and the piping hot, perfectly brown and crisp crinkle cuts continue to set a standard in their French Fry genre. Remember the McDonald’s doppelganger restaurant Eddie Murphy worked at in the original “Coming To America” movie? That’s the story at Bates. You and I know it’s White Castle. They just act like they invented the whole concept. Who cares, as long as we can eat there.

  This place is great, especially if you just want a quick bite to eat. Don’t have to worry about wait times since it’s just an eat and go type of place, very very affordable prices, and great accommodating staff. I can’t imagine anyone being anything less that satisfied from Bates.

  I love coming here! Cheap, greasy burgers and great service! This time I tried the donut burger, their loaded tots, and a Chicago dog. The donut burger was perfectly sweet and savory, tots were ok, but for the price I may not order them again, the Chicago dog was delicious but it wasn’t a traditional Chicago dog.

  Sliders are much larger than i expected. More like a smallish burger and boy they’re good. For some reason i was imagining White Castle size. Whatever the term for it I’ll definitely go back. Lots of styles of burgers to choose from or custom orders. Onion rings are delicious batter dipped that i prefer and not the breaded type. They took a little longer than i expected but they were packed and they gave me one of those little beepers when my order was ready. Convenient! 2 cheese burgers/sliders with rings just over $6. Budget friendly!
