  1. The food here is absolutely incredible. By far the best burger I have ever had in my life. Extremely fair prices and large quantities. 1 order of large fries comes in a 2 pound bag. It can easily feed 2-3 people. We will be coming back here soon!

  2. We had to come check out all the hype behind this place and stopped in for a quick bite during Memorial Day weekend. The counter to order is inside the gas station and they have menu items such as burgers, fries, grilled cheese and chicken nuggets. On the day we went they were out of fries so we didn’t get a chance to try them. I had a double cheeseburger and it was very tasty and we ordered a grilled cheese for our son. You can sit in the car and hear the numbers when they call them out and take it to-go or there is a patio with dining options. Prices are reasonable and service was great.

  3. This hidden gem doesn’t look like your average typical restaurant. Burgers are cooked perfectly and they are delicious. I believe it used to be a gas station. Inside still has a souvenir area plus snacks and drinks for the road or the beach. Close by to the pier with the carnival by the water.

Food was delicious. Menu is super simple to browse and all options are delicious.

Cheeseburger’s are cooked to a beautiful medium and don’t have any dryness to the patty. All toppings are free for cheeseburger’s.

Philly cheesesteaks comes with all toppings listed unless you want something off. Has a good juicy texture and great flavor.

A fair warning is space is limited inside so if you have a large party the best option is to get a list written down and send 1-3 people for a large party to order.

  4. You will fill your belly here, no doubt! Large portions (we shared the hot, crispy fries), pretty good food, fast service. To order, go into the convenient store. It’s at the far right side. There is a smallish table area outside at the other end if you want to eat sooner than later. They have fountain drinks available, however we decided to take advantage of the convenient store options. 😉

  5. I have been hearing about these burgers for years. Tried to get a couple months ago but there was over an hour wait and I couldn’t do it. On my second attempt I arrived early on my way to the kite festival and I must agree, it was the best burger I’ve ever had. Delicious! The French fries were great too. Like extra large steak fries that crinkle cut. With seasonings, my husband thought there was an Indian spice on them he could not put his finger on it but tasted great nevertheless.

Honestly one of the BEST BURGERS and fries we have ever tried!?! I’m talking worldwide the best!! This sandwich house is DELICIOUS! 😋 Definitely a must-try if you are in/around the area! The chili nachos are also a hit! I highly recommend! 🍔✨

I went to Brooks sandwich house for the first time yesterday (7/27/22) for lunch with a work colleague. He saw that they recently were voted based burger in North Carolina so wanted to go. It’s a nice little grab and go spot with pretty cheap burgers and sides, they have wooden tables outside you can stand at to eat. I ordered a cheeseburger with chili, onions and mustard and a side of onion rings. Unfortunately, they got my order wrong and gave me 2 cheeseburgers that had all the toppings EXCEPT chili, which was the one thing I really wanted on the burger. The burger tasted good (Not the best I’ve had in North Carolina). My favorite part of the meal was the onion rings, they were very crispy and light. Overall there are better burgers in Charlotte but if you’re looking for a no frills place to grab a quick burger, this is a good spot.

Unfortunately, I hadn’t really heard of Brooks’ until the tragic murder of one of its owners. At that point, I definitely wanted to patronize. In the rain, I finally stopped by yesterday, 3-16-22.

It was a splurge purchase as I’ve been trying to cut back on carbs. I ordered a cheese burger with everything on it & a side of fries. The fries were more like potato wedges, & that was fine with me. The young lady who assisted me was pleasant, & I received my food less than 5 minutes after ordering. Not sure if it was the best burger I’ve ever had, but I definitely could taste that the burger was seasoned. Would visit again for another splurge.

The burgers are great!! Made to order and very friendly customer service. The sides items is also tasty. Waited for about 5 minutes from order to finish, in which I ordered three burgers. Don’t be fooled by the pictures, if it’s your first time, go with a single burger. The double burgers cam be alot of burger to eat, especially if you get bacon add on. Really important to know, they only take cash. It is an ATM outside, but it will be a 2.50 surcharge. Overall, it’s well worth the buy.

Saw this hidden gem on TikTok and glad that I did. Food was delicious and worth the 20 minute wait which is expected when you’re getting fresh cooked food. I like the fact that the chilli was not runny or loose like most places. Only gripe I have is that they are only open Monday – Friday but as a family owned business I respect the scheduling to allow everyone to spend time with their families. So if you work a normal 9-5 and able to squeeze in the commute then definitely check this place out.

We live about 40 minutes away.. had been wanted to try this place out for a while and it did not disappoint. We waited about 24 minutes (less time then we were told) because they we slammed but you can tell they know how to run their kitchen! Great teamwork. Friendly staff and good eats! I highly recommend! Definitely like an old fashioned burger joint. Pictured are the patty melt, Noah burger.. the petal sauce was delish! We will be back!

My wife and I have brought our children here several times, the sanitation score is something I’m always looking for and here I am never disappointed upon it’s discovery. Every time we come to this spot it is packed. But don’t be concerned. Nicks is fast and accurate, they have never messed up an order for me and we’re always ordering at least 4 plates a visit. I have never had an “extended” wait here for seating or food. Now that the weather is nice you can also be accommodated by the outside seating. If you’ve never been here you need to change that. Nicks is a must visit spot in welcome and a staple of the community.

They were super friendly and the burgers were great. I love that I can have so many toppings on my burger. They really do taste homemade. The fries were just ok and the deep fried apple with icecream was worth having once. I would reorder the burger anyway but pass on fries. Good to note they close at 7:30 pm and they are closed on Sunday (Thank you)

Phenomenal staff. Friendly and hard working. Definitely can tell they are a well oiled machine working together to make an excellent 1st time and loyal customer experience. At home atmosphere, great music you feel like family here. Food is fantastic, full of flavor. I’m pretty sure I used 100 napkins with how much juice was seeping from the freshly made burger. Not to mention free kids ice cream. Don’t let the 4oz fool you if you are not already full you definitely will be. Even I got a couple scoops of the blueberry cheesecake which was the most creamy and delicious ice cream I’ve tasted. You will definitely not be disappointed and if you are that really sucks for you but good for the rest of us. Thank you for the amazing atmosphere and great food. Will be back soon!

Ordered (4) different Burgers and craft beers and each one was amazing. The service was EXCEPTIONAL and Eli, our waiter, was knowledgeable, had great recommendations and was so attentive to our needs. The food was very fresh, served hot and quickly after ordering. This is definitely a restaurant I will come back to the next time I visit this area.

This is such a cool burger joint with a unique beer/cider selection, amazing decor, and really good burgers. The menu is really unique and the overall restaurant has a cool vibe. The staff is very friendly and the food comes out quickly. The onion rings were phenomenal.

B&B was once an amazing restaurant that dine-in, Pick-up, and Delivery options all gave us the same quality and quantity of food. NOW, this is joke. The only way to get your $ worth is to Dine-in. You only get 1/3 of the food for the same price if you order for pick-up or delivery. This evening, this cost me $8…. I get more onion rings at Sonic for less than half the price!

“The Ace” burger is the bomb! We ordered the combo, it comes with an order of amazing crispy french fries with extra side of “comeback sauce”, we added and extra side of coleslaw which was fresh and tasty, and to drink the “Banana pudding” milkshake. The milkshake is a must! The price was fair, the food definitely worth every penny! The staff are very friendly, the place is clean, pet friendly, they so kind to divide our order in half since my boyfriend and I were sharing.

This was my 1st experience with Ace burgers, I saw an instagram post about it and the burgers looked mad dope! So I had to check it out. Also! I am always down to support black owned businesses, so I was game.

I got the Ace burger, which I Liked! It tasted like a copycat Big Mac. The ace sauce is pretty good. I did not like the sweet potato tots (they were not sweet at all). The milkshake was pretty rich! They put Lots of cream on top and it took VERY long to get it. I actually think they forgot that I ordered it and I had to go up to the counter twice to ask about it before it was even made. Actually, this day I went (midday Saturday) I exhibited several customers coming back to the counter because they were missing things from their order or their order was incorrect… The kiddos got cheeseburgers, and they liked it. Someone else in my party ordered the fried bologna sandwich and she did not like it at all. It was two pieces of bologna and way too much cheese melted together and one of the pieces of bologna was fried black! Fries were pretty tasty though! Inside seating at this location is very limited, but they have a patio.

Parking could be a better situation (as there’s no lot and you have to park on the street), but the food makes it worth it! The burgers are excellent. Absolutely get the Ace with the comeback sauce. And the fries are top notch—battered and crispy. Plenty of seating for such a little restaurant building. This is indeed a must-visit spot!

One of the BEST burgers I’ve had in a while. Fries too. Light and crispy and taste great. Love the spot and always great music playing. Will most def be coming back.

Y’all 3 words have changed my life… SWEET POTATO TOTS😳😮😋. 10xs better than sweet potato fries. I had the limited time only Chili cheeseburger, side of sweet potato tots and a Chocolate milkshake. He had the Ace Burger with sweet potato tots and Cookies and cream milkshake. 😋 Yum yum yum. Everything was delicious and the manager went above and beyond to make sure our visit was outstanding. Definitely a place we’ll visit again ❤️😋❤️
