  Great local burger place. Family owned and ran and serving some of the best fresh cooked sliders around. Always friendly, always fast happy service. Recommend their pies as well. Be prepared, cash only but I keep money in the car for anytime I drive past and have a craving for Crabill’s.

  Great sliders. They had a lot of taste. There is only brown mustard, sweet relish, ketchup and onions to top the sliders with along with cheese. The double is the way to go. I got 5 and was pretty full. Also got two pieces of pie and chocolate cake and both were fantastic. I wish they had thin fries to go with the sliders but I understand it is a small and simple place.

  Have stopped here a few other times before. The burgers are basically sliders. They are good, not big, but only $1.40 for a double. But that’s about 3 bites. A guy backed into our car while waiting in line. We waited 20 minutes in the drive thru because the inside is closed due to Covid-19. Probably the last time we stop here. It’s kinda nostalgic, but not worth the wait in line for 3 burgers.

  Went with a friend for the first time today for dinner. Great friendly service, fantastic food. The grass-fed burgers made a delicious difference, too. Leslie was our server, she was awesome giving us a tour of the menu and all the burger options. We love sauce options, so she offered to bring us a few extra to try out as well, as you can see we have a ton! Will be back 🙂

  The burgers… oh em gee. They are PHENOMENAL. I know you’re thinking ‘another burger place?’ That’s what I was thinking when my friend suggested it. BOY was I wrong. They use only locally sourced grass-fed beef, and I’m telling you, this was hands down the BEST burger I’ve ever eaten. The parmesan fries are also delicious and a small size is easily shareable. Sorry I didn’t get a picture. We were so hungry, we dug in right away.

  My mom and I went to Bones Burgers today (Sunday) and omg they were AMAZING!!!! They are now open on Sundays 4 pm-8 pm (9721 Montgomery Rd, Montgomery, OH 45242)

  They have locally sourced 100% grass fed beef!

  My mom ordered 1/4 pound burger and added the fixings to it; a small fry (that’s big enough for 2 ppl to eat on) 🤦🏾‍♀️ didnt take a pic of them; and a lemonade

  I ordered the Aloha Beef burger and added avocado to it and ate some of my moms fries

  These pictures does not do it any justice!

  It was amazing and to top it off Stephanie and her husband Bones are the owners made it feel like we were guest in their home for dinner it was just that cozy! We even got a picture with Bones which is very rare!

  Simply wonderful! Great place to stop for a bite. Burgers were awesome and don’t forget parmesan fries! Friendly staff that made you feel like family! If you have room left get a slice of the keylime pound cake, yum!

  Excellent service and very friendly staff. The bar was obviously a local favorite. Trying something new the value is ok. The Heat burger (spicy) needed more flavor and sauce (was tasty but dry) – veggies to break up all that meat would have been good. The veggie burger was tasty but a lot of rice in mix. Aloha and the 1/4 pounder were ok as well. Fries were ok – didn’t taste the parmesan very much. It was about $16/pp with 4 burgers and 3 fries (a lot of fries) so value wasn’t the best for what you got (outside the fries that were just ok). Maybe will try again someday.

  I came here because it was featured on a television show so I thought I’d see what the hype was. I was really impressed with the food. The burgers are very large. We bought the western burger and the topless burger with french onion dip. They were both served with very large patties. The western burger came with the regular toppings and fries. Very tasty and well made. The French onion burger came with a giant glob of French onion dip. It tasted very good with the camellias onions and mushrooms. The fries were delicious. Overall an incredibly great exclusive and will definitely come back next time I’m in Columbus. The atmosphere is divey and nice staff.

  A very characteristic and unique place in the German Village of Columbus.
  I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but the environment is different and definitely pub-style. I liked it very much because it is way different compared to other new cool burger places.
  Food was very good. I loved the fries (the gravy is very delicious) but especially the burger. I got the “Thurman Burger” and it was huge. I was struggling to eat it, but every bite was delicious and I really liked the quality of the beef. It will be probably in my top-3 favorite burgers in Columbus. I suggest everyone to try it and I’ll definitely go back there soon!

  My word for this joint is phenomenal! Wow, smack your momma delicious burgers! Everyone enjoyed their meal! The burgers are huge and incredibly juicy!

  I ate the blue cheese burger and couldn’t stop eating because it tasted so good. Eventually, I had to because I couldn’t stuff another bite in. But trust me I took what I had left home and enjoyed it the next day!

  Our service way excellent. And for as poppin’ as that place was she did a fantastic job keeping up!

  Overall, I highly recommend this The Thurman Cafe if you’re looking for the best burgers you can find Columbus. We will definitely be returning!

  Tried the A1- Burger today! It was also phenomenal! Looking around you notice things you didn’t see previously. It’s like a time capsule in there! I just love the food and the atmosphere! Amazing!

  Our last few visits were pretty bad. With the pandemic and limited staff you have to expect that things won’t always be great. But this was our third trip with uncooked hamburgers, fries and onion rings. We asked each time for the burgers to be well done. But the third time this happened we called the restaurant and the manager told us to bring back the raw hamburgers the next day 🤢 I didn’t think it would be very hygienic. Until the quality control is raised I suggest going elsewhere.

  Stopped here after hearing it has the best burgers in Columbus. The atmosphere is kind of like one of those run down bars that everyone signs their name on the wall or whatever. The service was really good. The food was pretty good for being bar food. I got the Thurman burger and it was gigantic. Extremely tall to the point you needed to dislocate your jaw to take a full bite. The ham they put on it was cold which kinda messed with what was going on because i got to the center and it was cold. The burger was really messy to eat, you had to full commit and not let it go and even then the home made patty still kind of broke apart while eating. This thing really needs a flatter patty and wider bun to make it easier to manage. Overall the flavor was solid. Definitely not the best burger ive had but it is a solid choice.

  Step back into history. You walk in and can sit at the counter or go and place your order up front and go sit down and when it’s ready they will call your name. Uniforms are 50s and the employees are so pleasant and friendly. We had breakfast and definitely know that when we come back into town we will try it again.   Good for the Trojans and those who visit Troy to have such an establishment. Ya gotta appreciate that they are working hard there to keep the nostalgia alive and well. The prices and service are as good today as ever. They were busy and it took 15 minutes for our one burger. They were highly apologetic. I loved the place.
