  1. Been meaning to try this place for a long while. It’s a bit pricey and there’s a bit of a wait to get your food, but it’s worth it. The burgers are amazing. FYI: They accept cash only as payment.

  2. Burgers and curly fries is all that is on the menu but it was the best burger I had in a long time..they make them to order

  3. Heard that this was a good burger place. While I was visiting OKC thought I’d try them. Got there a little after 11 a.m. when they were supposed to be open. I and at least 4 other carloads of people went to the door (in the rain) and was told that they would not be opening for at least another 30 minutes. We all left the parking lot. If you don’t care enough about your customers or reputation to open when you advertise that you are open, then your customers will be glad to go elsewhere. Others came up to the door as I was pulling away and are standing in the rain. Maybe their burgers are so good that they can afford to mistreat their customers… We’ll never know.

  4. Really cool old school vibe. The burgers were very fresh and tasked delicious. We got everything on them and fries as well which were great. The service was also good.

  5. First impression as we walked in was “This is too small”. It’s very crowded inside and teeny tiny! We considered walking out. We stayed though and after a few minutes found 3 seats together. Make sure you stay! The burger is worth it! The best burger I think I have ever had. We do the best, most well known burger places all over and this one was amazing! We went Saturday around 11:30 and there wasn’t a wait but as we were leaving there was a line starting to form out the door. The service was as good as the burger! We will be going back for sure!

I’m not exaggerating when I say this was the best burger and fries combo I’ve ever had. We walked right up to the counter at about 12:30 on a Saturday and got our food made fresh within about 10 minutes. The grilled jalapenos were excellent on the burger. I did need to add salt and pepper to everything but they were available at the tables, as well as ketchup. Everything was clean and the cashier was friendly. I’ll stop by every time I’m in OKC for sure.

During a recent trip through Oklahoma City, I wanted to make sure and try the Oklahoma Onion Burger. I did my research and decided that Tucker’s Onion Burgers was going to be my choice. I made the right choice because this burger was amazing. I ordered a single onion burger with cheese, a side of fries, and the shake of the month.

It is understandable why the onion burger is such a hit. The flavors of the onion and beef complement each other, and the fact that they are truly cooked together is amazing. It is so much better than just having grilled onions on top of your cooked burger patty. The burger is big and fills the bun fully, and the cheese adds to each delicious bite.

The fries were also very good and cooked crispy. The shake of the month was a peanut butter chocolate, and unfortunately our least favorite part of the meal.

The staff were helpful while ordering and the burgers were freshly prepared after we made our order. The staff brought our burgers to the table and everything was served hot.

Tucker’s is a great way to start your exploration of the Oklahoma Onion Burger and will provide a great baseline for evaluating any other burgers that you try.

Had a craving for an onion burger and there is no better place than Tuckers. I wasn’t too hungry so I didn’t get French fries, but they are delicious and you get a large helping of them. I always get a cheeseburger with bacon and a shake! They had Mint Chocolate Chip and they is my favorite ice cream so I had to have one! They have a small, but nice patio to enjoy this great weather!

It’s hard to describe this type of burger.

It’s not a burger you would get at a diner, fast food, high-end place cause all those burger just aren’t as good.

maybe it’s close to a homemade burger that you would make in the back yard on a grill, but it’s better than that. Maybe it’s because it’s thin or cause the bun compliments the patty so well.

The grilled onions, jalapeños, and pickles were of the best quality.

The lemonade was sour but in a good way. Crushed ice like what you get at sonics.

The fries were thin and seasoned well and had a homemade flavor to it.

I thought I was beginning to not like burgers anymore but it’s because they just aren’t made as good as tuckers.

    Best burgers ever!

Excellent burger! I had the double cheeseburger with fresh jalapeno. They aren’t kidding around about the onion burger… There are a lot of onions, but that’s cool. I love onions, but there were even a bit too much for me. They are easy enough to remove so you can get your perfect onion mix. The burger was huge and delicious. The veggies were fresh and tasty. The burger was also assembled nicely with a substantial bun. It was juicy, but not overly greasy, like so many other burger joints.

I’m usually not much of a fry eater because unless they are hot and fresh, they just aren’t great. But these fries held up nicely even after they cooled down. Not greasy like so many others.

    Big fan!
Small menu, great options and all come at a decent price point. The mixed alcoholic drinks seemed small for the price but that is the only negative mark I have. Dog friendly and family friendly. Gluten free options. The open face burger was the gluten free and surprisingly really good. The bun didn’t fall apart, rare with gf bread.

The burgers were to die for!!!! We got the clash burger and were astounded with the moist and charred patty with the crispy doritos in the middle. Great environment. The back patio in the place is nice and has a great vibe. 10000/10 if you are in the OKC area definitely check it out!

What a great establishment. I was greeted with a very friendly staff. The place was super clean and had a very great decor.
I had the green chili burger which was superb. It was ordered medium rare and that is exactly how it was served. So very obvious that this joint uses quality ingredients.

I’ll definitely be coming back here.

They love to put on everything their cheese sauce for a reason! It’s really good! Good food at a ok price. The service is fast and wait times are not bad. I would recommend eating here!

I’m giving three stars for the overall experience. The burgers were four out of five but the fries were $4 for a small portion and they weren’t that good. They were oily and too crunchy. I love that the bun was grilled and slightly crunchy. I had the green chili burger and it wasn’t overwhelming with chilis. If I lived nearby I would return but I’m about a 20 min drive. The mac & cheese was good as well!

Food all cooked spot on. Very tasty and enjoyable. The cheeseburger was great and the fried banana peppers were awesome. Service lacked a little as it took several minutes to get seated when there weren’t even busy. But overall, a very nice experience. Definitely a must try location.

Gravy fries, pixie burger, new state burger and the hot hamburger. All were very tasty with plenty of flavor. Definitely going back to try other menu items. I always enjoy a good burger

Cute little spot the burger was pretty good, prices are a little above average, the Frose’ was amazing. I asked what the special was for the day and I was told they were out, I said OK I don’t like chicken thighs anyway but about 10 minutes later a couple comes in sits next to me and orders the special and they brought it right on out! 🤔

This little gem is incredible! The fried banana peppers were something I’ve never heard of and blew us away in flavor. The Burger was cooked to absolute perfection and tasted phenomenal. Definitely great new spot!

Wanting to go to a new place for dinner a group of friends decided on New State. For a starter we got the fried banana peppers which were awesome. I likened them to a cross between jalapenos and pickles. I recommend you try them.
I chose the cheeseburger and added bacon along with green beans and cheese fries. I wasn’t starving I just wanted to try a few items. We all got burgers but they ordered Brussel Sprouts and new state tots. My burger was juicey and full of flavor. The green beans were ok and so were the cheese fries and tots. The show stopper was the brussel sprouts !! They were roasted just right with a good flavor.
Pros: They have a full bar.
Cons: They still had up full fledged Christmas Decorations at the end of January 🤷🏽‍♀️

It was ok, not greasy like I remembered. Dark inside can’t see what you are eating. My fries were on the cold side and the burger was barely warm. Parking was a hassle because there isn’t many spots. This is not kid friendly it is a bar also. They sell coke products so that was a plus.

Mighty fine burgers and fries, and at a pretty reasonable price too. You won’t spend much more than your would at a fast food joint these days, but you’ll get much better food. I took my family there, and the kids were asking to go back next time we’re in town.

One thing about The Garage is they’re consistent with the good food. I’ve been coming to this place for years, as well as several others around the city and I’ve never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly, atmosphere is nice and the prices are what they should be for the food you’re getting.

Side note: If you need to alter something on the item you’ve chosen, it’s never been an issue to make that happen. Some places have that “as is” mentality, but this place allows you to make changes with no issues.

The vibes, food and location are a few reasons why I’ll continue to give this place my business.

Disgusting bison onion burger. The onion and meat tasted like refrigerator. The fries were cooked earlier that day and were burnt and cold. They had my call in order bagged and ready in less than 8 minutes cause that’s how far I was when I called it in. Nobody cooked anything. They did not oblige my request for cheddar cheese and extra pickles.
This was a horrible experience and I will never be back. It was embarrassing because I had bragged about how fresh and delicious the food was only to be disappointed and now my guest will not be customers either and will share with others about the disappointment. My fault for not checking the food especially since it was already ready. We were hungry and I trusted they would’ve prepared the food the way they would’ve wanted to eat it. I give this restaurant a big F for failing to have fresh hot food and especially what tasted like old onions, yucky tasting meat and not meeting special requests for cheddar and extra pickles.

First time here tonight, and it was excellent! You can get turkey, beef, or beyond beef on any burger, and you can get whole wheat, white, or gluten free buns. My turkey burger on wheat was delicious! The garlic truffle fries were flavorful and perfectly fried. Definitely try the garlic aioli if you’re a garlic lover (like me 😅)
