This place is the original walk up restaurant from 1954! I was looking up places to eat while you are in Seattle and this came up on the “TOP 10” list. While this isn’t a fancy place to eat and it is exceptionally busy during the prime times and sometimes difficult to park and order it is worth the effort. The food is good, the service was fast and friendly. The menu pictured below is very simple and limited but very consistent and good. I got everything I had hoped from eating here today 😃. This place is very affordable!By Mike Terry (a month ago)Fun 1950s style diner with a real nostalgia factor. The food was good (albeit smaller portions) but hey, it’s meant to feel like the 50s! The staff was friendly even with it being a busy hour. Not many places like this around anymore, so it’s definitely worth a stop for a quick lunch. Get the shakes, they’re awesome!By Joshua Lim (3 months ago)Went here for a quick bite to eat while it wasn’t too busy. Ordered 3 burgers and 3 fries for the family and it wasn’t what everyone made it out to be. Fries were very oily, undercooked and soggy (and yes I understand it’s fast food). The burger was ok. I asked for ketchup from the girl at the register and she was extremely rude and stingy. She only gave one small ketchup container so I asked for more and she proceeded again to just give one and walked away. Terrible first experience here and no employee should have a job with this attitude. While eating I also noticed another person was not happy at all with his order and went to the window to complain. He also proceeded to film the interaction with employees. Cannot recommend this place to anyone after a bad experience….By Nader S. (4 months ago)Drive in restaurant but you order at the window and eat in your car. Prices are very low. Hamburgers, fries, drinks, milkshakes, etc. Bathrooms on site. Milkshakes were delicious!By Fiona Bratvold (6 months ago)Cheaper than most, but also smaller burgers than most. A simple menu, a quick stop. Not at all bad food. Watching the workers pump out the burgers was impressive. The Seattle sugar tax is something I’ve never seen. I would eat here again, but this is not my normal food. Just something to try.By J Chase (3 months ago)

The good: amazing vanilla shake. One of the best ever. Fries are generous and very good. I wish they had a smaller size of fries for less $. The classic burger is not really worth getting. Probably need to get one of their signature burgers for something memorable. Definitely worth coming for a shake.By Philip Haas (6 months ago)Excellent burger and portion sizes. You’ll get a great bang for your buck. The sweet potato fries were superb. I really enjoyed the buffalo chicken sandwich with blue cheese/ranch dressing. I don’t think I’ve ever had a sandwich like that with celery sliced up. Good choice.By Sam Van Ginhoven (8 months ago)I have travelled to 27 states in the United States, tried burgers in every single state, and live in the melting pot of the world- New York City- where the quality of food is incredibly high. Restaurants thrive with just one dish being done really well.
Uneeda burger’s Bison burger is that burger. If they scrap their entire menu and only kept the Bison burger, they will do just fine. I visit Seattle every quarter and never have I ever not visited Uneeda Burger.
Apparently Uneeda name comes from a boat repair shop that was named so which was at that spot a long time ago and the owners bought the place but kept the name. I like to think that it stands for U-need-a burger but you can choose whichever story tickles your fancy.
Whichever does, just remember, if you find a better burger than here- shoot me a ping! I dare you! 😉By Avi Rakesh (a year ago)Solid burger restaurant with spaced out outdoor seating, and open air indoor seating. The burgers are good, and taste very clean. The veggie burger is even shockingly good when compared to the regular burger. Similarly, the fries are great on their own or as a side to the burger. Parking can be tricky, but don’t be afraid to park in the area immediately in front of the restaurant.By Michael Barton (a year ago)Came her because we saw they had a lamb burger. Hands down the best burgers we’ve had. Fries are perfect and so are the shakes.By Skylar Kaylen (a month ago)

This was my first time ever at a katsu burger. It looks to be a Japanese flavor on a traditional Burger house. I’m not 100%, but I believe all of the burgers are vegetarian. Fake meat basically. That did not deter me and I jumped on one of their combos with some fries with seaweed flakes. Finished it off with a root beer out of the fridge. Customer service was fantastic. They were busy and it did take 15 minutes to get my food, but with the quality of the food and the cooking it from scratch I was happy.By Derek Crager (6 months ago)There has yet to be an item I haven’t liked from Katsu Burger, so I decided to get the Tokyo Mushroom Melt this time. It was absolutely amazing. It struck me that mushrooms were an ingredient I had really been missing on a burger. I decided to try the Banzai Bites this time. They were pretty good, but I might stick with the 12 spice fries. There was nothing wrong with them. I just really love the 12 spices!By Justin (6 months ago)I’ve heard about katsu burger and finally decided to check it out. I got the Tokyo Tower mega burger which was probably too much as this thing was MASSIVE. I thought the crispy katsu patties were pretty novel and overall the burger tasted good. Worth a visit, but I’d probably get a normal-sized burger next time.By Vincent Lin (10 months ago)Love this place!! Order delivery regularly but stopped by to dine in person. Got the ranch chicken (so sooo good) and friend got the tofu (she liked it, I didn’t) with spice seasoned fries 👍🏽 and their nori ranch is delicious, skip the wasabi sauce. Lots of space inside, plenty of booths, and they have parking in front. Service was simple and efficient. Delivery tastes just as good if not better so will keep ordering!By S (a month ago)Went here on a whim and it was super good and i highly recommend it if you like burgers with a twist. Even the soda machine was great! Will definitely stop by again next time in town. My husband and mother in-law agree!By Christa Hell (a year ago)

We had their signature 8oz burger. The meat was cooked perfectly medium rare. And the toppings really feel like they come together. Highly recommend their side dishes: bacon, garlic broccolies, and the sweet potato tots. The truffle garlic fries could be better. But overall this is a good burger experience. Will definitely go there again.By Maianh Nguyen (3 months ago)One of the best burgers that I’ve ever had! The meat was cooked to perfection, and the toppings and selections made everything come together. At some point I will want to try their other burgers on the menu.
The side dishes weren’t on par though. I thought the truffle garlic fries, popcorn chicken, and fried string beans were all just ok at best. Honestly, I could have foregone the sides and order another burger instead.
The Espresso Oreo milkshake was good though!Honestly great experience though. We ate in their outdoor dining area and the staff were all friendly and prompt. Definitely recommend going here if you’re in Ballard and are in the mood for a burger 🍔.
By Davis Tran (7 months ago)Great service, nice juicy burgers and really enjoyed the garlic fries and broccoli. I tried the Jackson burger (pictured) which vibes with bbq sauce charred onions and bacon. My brother tried the Pike which uses habanero jam– be warned this is an incredibly spicy burger from a guy that likes spice, he says heed the warning of your server–it’s REALLY hot! They also have vegetarian options and will sub out the bun in any burger as a lettuce wrap so there’s really a little something for everyone to enjoy.By K. Moore (10 months ago)Super friendly staff and delicious foods. We let them know we were sharing appetizers and they split the portion into two separate dishes for us. Their burgers are delicious and well stacked.By Thang Phu (7 months ago)My 2nd time here and it’s one of my favorite burger spots in seattle. Love the quality of the food here, the burger isn’t messy, it fills you up, and the toppings such as the arugula and cheese make it amazing. The fries are super good too! Not too salty and is perfectly crispy.By Alex Nguyen (7 months ago)

Thank you for reading! If you have any additional information on the best burger restaurant in Washington, please leave a comment below. We would love to hear from you!
2021-June.
We came at the wrong time. There was a baseball game so it was crowded. We ordered our food to go. It was about 10-16 minutes wait from the time we ordered our food until it was ready.
I had a cheeseburger, fries, and a shake. The burger was tasty. The fries and the shake were ok..
Decent price.
Burbs is awesome! I have been to the Montlake food truck location, which is open and quiet, this one near Pioneer Square is quite different. It’s co-located with two other eateries in one space. There are some indoor seatings (not a whole lot though) and a heated patio outside. When the crowd comes, it might be hard to find seats.
I had a deluxe burger and a fried chicken burger. Both are appetizing and satisfying. Decent size for the price and after there two little feast burgers I was so full haha.
This is your classic American burger done right. Perfect edges smashed to a crisp. Melted cheese that blends seamlessly into the housemade sauce. All balanced by the no-frills quality trimming with a hint of pickles.
This place is great and about $26 for a whole pizza which isn’t bad given the area you are in. Menu pictures are as of 11/5/22. There is even some $5 food options which looked real good. Beers about $7.50 and mixed drinks are looking about $12.
Really yummy burgers! I do not say that often but for a smash burger this place knows about seasoning! Wow! The fries are skinny fries and partner well with their secret sauce. Reasonably priced! Outdoor seating with fire pits. Family friendly. They do sell pizza as well but go for the burger! You wont regret it. I ordered the double, most ppl say a single can fill you up but if youre starving do the double and be full for a long time.
