Beautiful stretch of coastline with craggy outcrops, cliffs and grasslands atop. A good mix of sandy/shingle beaches and due to the westerly outlook, great views of the sunset.By Thomas James Badger (4 months ago)Lovely food at The Ship Aground public house, then a lovely 6.5 mile walk not overly demanding from Mortehoe to Morte Point and on to the Lighthouse at Bull Point and back to Mortehoe, worth it for the outstanding views.By Kevin Johnston (3 months ago)walking westward along the South West Coast Path, skirting the precipitous shoreline of the Bristol Channel I’ve enjoyed the steep track challenges and spectacular scenic views from Minehead, Somerset through Lynmouth/Lynton, with bays including Woody, Lee and Heddon’s, then into Combe Martin to later discover Watermouth, Samsons and Hele bays and onwards to pretty Ilfracombe and Woolacombe separated by spectacular Mortes Point. We continually encountered the lovely local track walkers out with dogs eager to smile and offer a friendly helloBy Chris Dalton (5 months ago)Beautiful location, walks are moderate skill level due to few inclines but paths well looked after. Would reccomend.By Dee B (8 months ago)You have to see it to believe it absolutely stunning. Don’t forget your picnic basket and blanket then enjoy your special dayBy Des Limmage (5 months ago)

Great place to go for a family orientated holiday. Access to great beaches that are 15-20min walk away. Static caravans are clean, well presented and comfortable with decent amenities. The site has lots of events to suit all tastes, decent eating areas and bars and good sized out door and indoor pools. Would come again but later in the season to get a cheaper price as I’d consider peak season prices to be on the steep side especially for the more modern caravans.By Lee Gridley (2 months ago)Early autumn break. Good location for traveling around the area. Outdoor pool closed this time of year. Indoor pool is lovely and open 8-8. Food in large restaurant is good and moderately priced. Caravan was clean and tidy. Beds are small and you can feel the springs. Lovely views and you can walk down to the picturesque beach.By Mandi Dunlop Ferraro (a month ago)WOW…. The best holiday park I have ever stayed in, beautiful, very clean everywhere. Their attention to detail is incredible. The lodge we stayed in was immaculate, everything was top quality. The beds and bedding were so luxurious and comfy, not one single complaint to make. It blew my mind. Even the BBQ was clean. Oh and charging points for cars everywhereBy Trevor Johnson (6 months ago)We love this place. It’s big enough to create an atmosphere, but small enough that it doesn’t seem super busy! The pool is great, staff are super friendly, and the caravans are clean. The views from the park are amazing, and there’s plenty to do within a short drive. Woolacombe itself is also beautiful! Unfortunately the outside pool and waterslide wasn’t open when we were there, but it was June and the weather was a bit dodgy! The football golf could also do with a revamp!By Bruce Felton (5 months ago)Awesome Camp, has something for everyone and a lot better since it has had improvements. Great entertainment and views. Little shop and cinema, play area big outdoor area for summer. Also renovation of the new outdoor pool is happening. Indoor pool has a pirate theme and great for kids. With adult pool too. Caravans are good standard and also now surf village with glamping and more. I would recommend to anyone with a family or not. Well done team Woolacombe Bay.By Steven Sime (2 months ago)

Beautiful little cove with a snack shack that makes amazing Sri Lankin curry’s from 5pm. Only £9.95 two curry’s and rice. You can eat it on the beach or on the benches looking out to sea. Highly recommended 👌By Suzanne Walls (5 months ago)Beautiful spot. Spent the night in our camper van off season & can’t believe it’s free! Limited parking spaces and gets very busy but we were very happy with our spot and will definitely be returning for more nights away.By Siobhan Godby (a year ago)Great little beach with plenty of small rock pools to explore, not a sandy beach but shell and shale. Nice place for a sea swim but on big swell days the rocks are very close by. On windy days the foam is huge, the kids love it but get very messy, pack spare clothes!By Steven Aley (7 months ago)Fantastic sheltered beach tucked around the corner from Woolocombe beach.
You will have to pay for parking on the road above the beach and walk down. The beach is made up of fine seashells. Dogs are allowed on the beach but must be kept on leads at all times.
Would recommend getting a Sri Lanka curry which is sold from a small cafe down on the beach. They are cash only so be prepared. Healthy portion size.

By Moments Of Outdoors (8 months ago)A nice shale cove with lots of atmosphere. Great for a sea swim when the tide is in. The kids did do some body boarding when the tide was out but the rocks made me a bit nervous. Being Sri Lankan myself I can vouch for the food. It cost us £13 for one adult meal and £7 for a child portion. Cash only due to a bad signal. No toilets so be prepared to walk 10 mins to the nearest. I couldn’t spend the whole day there but good for a few hours.By Amalka Woodall (4 months ago)

IMHO the best beach ever, but very expensive. The car park has great loos and the facilities are looked after, but find it hard to justify the pricing.
Other nearby beaches like Saunton have a time based tariff which works out better for those going for a surf or dog walking.By Mike P (2 months ago)A beautiful sandy dog-friendly beach as good as anything you’ll find in the Med! Perfect for families with young kids and there a good shop there too, that will cater for all your refreshment needs. Perfect! 👌🏼😍By Rob Shine (5 months ago)Beautiful beach, and lovely little cafe overlooking it.By Sarah Ward (4 months ago)Our new favourite beach in North Devon although it’s very hard to pick! Best toilets ever, cafe/shop and only a tenner to park for the whole day. Water not only clean but warm and sheltered from the wind by Baggy Point so whilst you can still bodyboard you can also kayak and paddle board.By Mike Clarke (4 months ago)Beautiful beach and great waves to surf. Good facilities such a newly refurbished toilets as well.By Zuzanna Dulnikiewicz (4 weeks ago)

Fantastic sandy beach which is a surfers paradise. There’s an added bonus of beach tent hire as well as beach hut hire. These are ideal if you’re wanting to spend the day at the beach and will be in and out of the sea. There are surf lessons available, aswell as surf board and wetsuit hire. Dogs are allowed off the lead on half of the beach, which is actually the nicer area as it tends to be a bit quieter. Fab day out and a gorgeous beach
Lovely huge beach. Absolutely perfect for surfing, cabins are available to hire. Ice cream and burger stools were available in the middle of the beach. Perfect for a big groups of people/families. But walking even to the middle of the beach was a mission, it’s just too big for me.
A beautiful beach very calm excellent sand dunes lots of people enjoying the waves surfing and using body boards. Great views and fresh sea air very tidy beach well worth a visit. Excellent for a little exploring in the sand dunes for kids.
One of the countries best beaches – but it gets full, if your prepared to walk a ways you can find space and enjoy this two mile beach. The car park is six pounds per day so you can arrive when ever you want. The sand dunes at the back of the beach look spectacular. The Eid off the sea can be cold
Mesmerising views and so beautiful. Water was clear and amazing…gorgeous cliffs and the beach was mind blowing. One of my favourite places to visit.
