  1. My family loves this zoo. This was our first time there since the pandemic and we had a great time. We went on a Sunday and it wasn’t crowded at all. You may want to check ahead, I’m glad I did because we had to buy tickets ahead of time. I was surprised how clean it was, which was really nice. The peacocks were beautiful and you can have lunch with them.
It is perfect for families but anyone can have a great time. We didn’t even cover the whole park in a day; I can’t wait to come back! The animals are incredible! I highly recommend this place.

  2. We loved our visit. Very well maintained and free! The landscaping is well done. A great place for a nice walk and the kids enjoyed seeing the animals. The train ride ($2 per person) is amazing – I highly recommend it.

  3. What a great place to bring the kids and spend the day! Large open playground with a great selection of activities for all ages. Splash pad is small but lots of fun. The stroll along the woods to see the animals was amazing. the train ride was a bit further away but worth the walk. there is a small $2.00 fee There are mosquitoes neat the snack bar so have bug spray. plenty of picnic tables around to sit and lots of shade from the tall trees. There were washrooms all around and were very clean.

  4. The only Free Park and Zoo in entire #Canada no entery fee to this location.
Our 1st visit to this beautiful Park and Zoo on Saturday August 6th.2022.
Lots of attractive sites to enjoy all day along.
Highly recommended to visit with your family and enjoy the Park and Zoo.

  5. Visit by donation. Very nice park. Lots of clean washrooms. Picnic areas . Train ride to your Right at the end of seeing all the animals near the airplane . Walk down and back to entrance. Park and snack bar , water splash pad. Great zoo for all ages . Best suited for families with younger children. My friend and I took 2 teenagers . They had a good time as well ! Recommended ❤

We participated in CIBC Run for the cure and it was a great event as always. We had our company team join to help raise donations and to give back to the community. It was great to see so many people participate after a few years of the void. Park was very clean and event staff/volunteers did a great job running the event.

Nice area to walk around quickly… small issue with homeless asking for money and or booze. It made us uneasy a bit with their forwardness. We didn’t stay long unfortunately 😢

We have been going to Del Crary Park for a very long time. It is always clean. So many places to sit and watch the birds and the boats. It has so many amazing events there. We have been to many free concerts. We have been to fireworks. We take our son down there to fly his kite. We always have so much fun and that is why we keep coming back for sure.

Really lovely forest trails to walk through, especially during fall. The rivers/creeks that run through the trail are delightful and a perfect spot for your pup to have a drink or a swim if you’re walking the dog. Parking can be a bit iffy, especially on a weekend, but otherwise, it’s fine. Lots of other mini trails all around the place if you look.

Omg! It’s such a peaceful place to let go off your stress. One can go pick either parkway trail or Jackson creek trail to embrace this beautiful hub of nature. I thoroughly enjoyed the calmness of the park alongside the beautiful lake.

Jackson Park has wonderful trails for walking and cycling, even skiing in winter. Lots of parking and friendly people! Though we visited in the pouring rain, the scenery is worth it!

Peaceful and well maintained! Not much parking available. 20 vehicles or so max. If you have respiratory issues, please be careful as the gravel road causes clouds of dust each time a biker passes by or if there’s wind. Wasn’t crowded therefore people don’t tend to wear masks there.

The Pièce de résistance in hiking, walking and biking! Numerous offroad trails, plus the main gravel trail that goes through the park and well beyond. The old railway, now part of the Trans Canada Trail. Jackson creek runs through, down to the large pond and pagoda bridge flowing all the way down to the Otanabee River. Enjoyable outings no matter the season.
