  1. The biggest mall in the America’s and it doesn’t disappoint. I walked around for about 2 hours 20 minutes covering 2.50 miles/4km. Plenty to see and do here with a wide variety of stores.

Lots of beautiful art and set pieces throughout the mall.

If you are a foodie, you’ll be in heaven. Food options galore, I can easily gain 20lbs in a week here with no restraint.

Despite this mall being filled with thousands of people at any given time, it never felt crowded to me, just busy.

Parking was surprisingly easy and stress free.

  2. Fantastic! A great water park, a great amusement park and a ton of other fun stuff for the family to do like ice skate, go carts and more we even met some real live 3 toed sloths there. On top of all of that, its an amazing mall with everything you would want for shopping and tons of options at multiple food courts to eat. Loved our vist to the west Edmonton Mall!

  3. It is a nice big mall with lots of shops and attractions. Too bad that everything is so expensive in there. We only entered the Aquarium and it was nice. Not as big as I thought it’d be but it was so cool watching the sharks, penguins and turtles swimming around.
You need at least a couple of days and deep pockets to really enjoy everything it has to offer.

  4. Its a very large mall and they’ve added a lot of cool things while leaving some of the classics we all remember as kids. I’d prefer there to be more stuff and maps or even an app to show you how to get around, this place is massive! Lots to see, lots to do, but being a full wallet. I have a family of 6 and it was a pricey day filled with love and memories!

  5. I really enjoy coming to this mall. I could spend days there. A little pricey for some attractions, but overall a good experience. Advice, wear good, supportive shoes if you’re above 30 or have back issues as there is a LOT of walking. So much to do, from tattoos to messages to shopping to the water park. Schedule a couple days if you want to tackle it all!

Great for a morning or afternoon visit. The Edmonton Valley Zoo has undergone a large renovation in the past few years. It looks really good. It is fun to walk around and see many different animals (some animals we couldn’t see because they have hidden themselves in their exhibit). It was also fun that there are Lego animals throughout the zoo. I shared the photos of the Lego sculptures, maybe I missed some.
    Fun for the entire family!

It was a nice way to spent a day here at the zoo. See a lot of animals here but some were not available on the day I visited. Red Panda was cute and we see goat on top of the building walking. There are lego built animal displaying there as well and they all looked amazing.

The kids really enjoyed the Edmonton Valley Zoo. A number of buildings weren’t open when we went, as some animals were under care, which is unfortunate but what can you do. The animals that we did see looked to be in good health. I believe it’s priced reasonably well for what you get, but the Calgary Zoo is definitely a better zoo in my opinion. Unfortunately the Calgary Zoo is quite a bit more expensive at over 3x the cost for both adult and child admissions, which also doesn’t include parking.

Staff were great. Anyone we came by that was working in any of the exhibits would greet us, then explain the exhibit, and tell us about the animal living there, and some history about them. It’s my first visit in over 30 years, and nice to see that the place is growing.

A fantastic smaller zoo that keeps on improving and growing! It’s primarily aimed at children, but still a great visit for adults.

For those still complaining about Lucy, multiple veterinary studies have been done and all of them have concluded that it would be disadvantageous to move her. I find it funny that folks say to follow the science, until it disagrees with them.

The zoo does an exemplary job in caring for her.

The Edmonton equivalent of Canada’s Wonderland, but indoors. Incredible that they managed to fit it all indoors and offer such a pretty great assortment of rides for all ages. Some of the more interesting rides were also not operational at the time we visited.

Fun for a rainy day. We came in a Friday afternoon, not too many people and lots of rides only had 1-5 people.

The rides and attractions that were open were excellent and fun! It is unfortunate that many attractions like the famous Mind Bender, Drop of Room, Haunted House and others are closed.

This is a great place to take your kids as the rides are designed for both adults and children to ride together. Of course the fact that it is inside means that weather is never a factor when coming here which is a huge bonus over the outdoor parks.

The cotton candy ducks and characters are so original and cute! What a fantastic idea.

The Trouble ride is amazing! It is the first time that I have come off a ride truly exhausted!

It would be nice for the operators to offer a half day pass for those that come near the end. I am not sure that it is appropriate to be charging for a full day to someone that comes in 3 hours before close.

Love this place! It’s an alright price for what you get. The galaxy orbiter and the space shot are our favourites. We went on a Thursday and it was a ghost town. No waits for any of the rides. They have a ride maintenance schedule so you know whats down for the day, but there were some rides that weren’t working that weren’t on the schedule which was a bummer cuz we were specifically looking forward to them.

Good amusement park with some good rides. Some of the rides were closed but still lots were open so it was overall a good experience. The staff was very friendly and nice. Ample parking and a nice food court is attached right next to the rides.

A wonderful place inside the West Edmonton Mall where kids and adults alike can have a luxury of assorted rides. The kids will surely have a fun day here. It’s a must see.
