To the guard on duty late 8.6.22, thank you for making us feel welcome and safe when we happened upon the memorial at 1030pm. We are from Texas and in town for just tonight. We drove by and got out to take a picture of the fence of tributes. You invited us into the memorial grounds and gave us wonderful information that made our visit more meaningful. My 8 yo daughter was completely captivated by the memorial and wanted to read every name on every chair and read into whom the victims might have been and their relations to each other.
This was an experience we will never forget. We will keep all of the victims and loved ones in our prayers always.

I remember the day the bombing occurred, seeing half of the building gone. Being here gave me a different perspective especially reading the names of those who perished and seeing the remains of the bldg. The artist(s) who created this monument did a magnificent tribute. All the chairs, small and large, the reflecting pool, the remaining tree. It was breathtaking; it was peaceful. A must stop anytime you are even close. We decided to buy museum tickets at 4:15, thinking it would be plenty of time to finish by 6 PM close. We were quite rushed toward the end. The video footage, interviews with survivors, and items on display that were collected both as evidence and as momentos from survivors and rescuers are incredible. Plan to spend another 30-60 minutes outside, walking around the reflecting pool and contemplating Survivor Tree. We also made the decision to return after dark to view the memorial lit up at night. It is serene and even more beautiful. Very safe to walk around, as well. Highly recommend.By Kim Pish (7 months ago)Sad place to visit, but we wanted to pay our respects to those who were lost here. The grounds are beautiful considering what happened here, the reflecting pond relaxes your tension with gentle draining water sounds as you stroll around reading posted signs telling you what everything symbolizes. Didn’t have a chance this time to visit the museum but I’m sure it’s comforting to those who lived through this terrible event. He explained in great detail various aspects of that memorial, and answered all of our questions. I took my eleven year old son and we both loved it. His favorite exhibit was the otters and I loved the sea turtle. The feeding experiences were a little pricey ($5 for three carrot peels for the turtles) but the exhibits were beautiful. We did the shark and sea turtle experience and it was a fun opportunity to go behind the scenes and meet these beautiful creatures close-up. The aquarium is not very big, so you can definitely get through everything (including 1 experience) in about 3 hours. Bathrooms were very clean, nice gift shop and a park for the little ones. Make sure you know all the feeding times to make the most of your experience. Be sure to visit the shark tunnel and watch sharks swimming around and even above your head, it’s really neat 😃
The reason that I cannot give them a five star review is because of the gift shop prices are outrageous and out of line, it’s like buying a $5 coffee mug with their name on it for $15 to $20 or spending $10 on a $2 magnet that has their name on it.By Bart Gelino (a month ago)My family and I enjoyed our visit at the OK Aquarium. It wasn’t the largest Aquarium that we’ve been to but it was easily the most interactive. There are over 5 different areas that allow you to interact with aquatic life. From touching horseshoe crabs and starfish to feeding turtles and stingrays, there are plenty of ways to enjoy your experience there. The playground outside of the aquarium is an added bonus if you want to tire the kids out further.By Leonard Newby (11 months ago)Best interactive experiences at well designed high quality animal exhibits! The animals look healthy and stimulated. One of my favorites was the shark tunnel. Fun lookout spots for kids; stations to touch sting rays, starfish, shrimps etc; gorgeous full wall displays of coral reef and tropical fish; playful otters habitat with water slide; open exhibits for little turtles under heat lamps; fun photo ops; clean restrooms; variety in gift shop. “Small” to take your time without being rushed through a busy crowd, manageable with young kids. Try a morning trip, and/or a night visit to experience all the animals at their most active hours. Membership pays for itself after 2 visits for a family of 5, plus special discounts for locals- and you’re supporting all the wonderful animals. We came in the evening and enjoyed the very active nocturnal animals like beavers and otters, but could tell the sting rays were tired at the extended touch time. Would love to visit again to experience the carousel, outdoor playground, feeding times, and animals we missed from being off exhibit like the sea turtle and giant octopus. Most of the zoo is under construction currently. It would be nice if tickets were discounted since a good portion (pushing half or more) is under construction. But it’s still a lot of fun! Some things were still left from the dino exhibit. The zoo is huge, give it at least 3 hours. Lots to see. Bring quarters (feeding ducks, turtles, fish), $1 and pennies (smashing), $5s (wax molds!) and then however you’re going to pay for food.
There should be exhibit signs for the construction. For the workers, the machines, what’s going on. Kids like construction, too, and adults are curious. I would love to see signs about who is working, what they like, how the machines work and facts about them. How the company hired is contributing to making a better planet. They’re missing a perfect chance to teach.
One of my favorite zoo’s to visit. Lots of variety of animals. Lots of trees for shade. Plenty of benches for sitting when gets tired. The tram is handy for getting around and inexpensive. Handicapped accessible. Great activities for adults and kids.
We drive down from Tulsa and always try to fill our day so the drive is worthwhile. I’d been looking forward to taking my 4 year old because he absolutely loves the zoo and we hadn’t been to this one in a few years. We went on a week day in September & my complaints are this: there’s a large area of construction so lots of paths are blocked off – totally get this, it happens & I’m understanding of that, however, this zoo is a complete maze. While walking around I saw very minimal signage to help point us in the right direction – I noticed chairs at the forks in the road where presumably they’d have someone help people who were lost, however, there was no one around. We had a map, but the map is confusing because the actual walking paths again had very little signage. We had to try 6 different vending machines before we could find one that worked or had water available & none of the food/rest areas were open. There is no zoo train but there is a tram that I believe takes you on a tour of the zoo – which we were going to do after getting so turned around and hardly seeing any animals but it wasn’t running. Not sure if they only run on the weekends or if we just happened to miss it that day. The employees we did encounter were nice and helpful and the zoo was very clean. Overall it felt like we walked a ton, got turned around a lot & saw very few animals. Disappointing because I know this is a really nice zoo. Having an updated map with the construction zones/blocked off paths clearly marked in addition to more signs around the zoo to show which animals are down which paths would have been such a tremendous help.
It was a great school trip. The zoo is doing remodeling so there was a lot of construction that was going on. The animals that were there were awesome to see. The kids and everyone there had a great time, and can’t wait to see what new exhibits will come. The zoo was also setting up the lights for Halloween, which was really cool to see as well.
Went to the lights drive through and then walk through. The kids liked the drive through but loved the walk through. I think for the money, there does need to be changes made. For older people, the drive through is not long enough. Maybe needs to be combined with a train ride through the walk through section. Days or evenings could be divided between train rides and walk through. Love going to the zoo normally, and we did have a discount for being members, but felt sad that a lot of people wouldn’t be able to experience it due to price.
