  1. I used to work in Busch Gardens Williamsburg for 5 months, and I had a chance to ride every single roller coaster again and again 🙂
Best time is to come at opening and you start with every country to explore the entire park. Spend the entire day if you want to have the most fun and experience the park. Buy yourself the express pass, because the lines are long long long. Save money on food or gifts if you, need to… but buy the pass.
I have been here few to visit the park after, because it is definitely the best amusement park in the US. I also visited the Busch Gardens Tampa Bay which very fun, but this park is better.

  2. They were having there St. Patrick Day celebration and all the rides were not opened, but had fun, if going all day during the summer to ride all the rides opening till closing would recommend to get the food pass for $30 more but you get a full meal every 90 minutes. Enjoyed everything even the dinner theater show while eating. Hope to come back soon!!

  3. The rides and animals made for a amazing day… buy tickets in advance they have dynamic pricing and raise the price from 69 to 89 dollars for a same day purchase. You will save at least 20 dollars per ticket by purchasing the day prior to coming to park. It was a absolutely a blast I would recommend it definitely and bring plenty of water… hours of walking… go for it you will not regret…

  4. This was such a fun park. The roller-coasters are awesome and I love the way they have areas set up like other countries. There’s so much to do here. There’s an area to see and even pet animals. We went here twice during our vacation. I would definitely recommend and I would go again if I vacation here again.

  5. This park was beautiful!! The rides have a nice array of thrill to chill that I love the variety. The food here was amazing! I recommend you get the all day meal plan , it is so worth the money! The shows we saw were top notch! The themes for the countries seemed very authentic and custom to the region you were in. If you are going to watch the fireworks we recommend using the bridge for the best view. But while everyone is watching those the ride lines open up a bit. The only issue we incurred while there was that they didn’t have many shirts in large size, because they had sold out. I would definitely come back and bring my family!!

Easy, scenic drive with well marked route and tour stops. The battlefield was clean and well tended while keeping a natural feel. The roads and walkways were in good condition. The visitor center has a small but informative museum, worth seeing even if you have already visited the American Revolution Museum. Buy the CD from the visitor center if your vehicle has a player. Otherwise, you can use the app.

Was a much more significant engagement than I realized. Rangers are great, the small museum is really nice. Many walking paths and restored earthworks. The site was used for Confederate fortifications as well.

Great visit! Would recommend the video in the visitors center prior to visiting the battlefield to put the sites in proper perspective. Lots to see along the tour route. Would suggest driving the route or biking it if you are in good riding shape.

Everyone should go here at least once. This is a major part of American history that has been well preserved. Along with all of Yorktown being free for public access. The Victory monument is way better seen in person.

We loved this place! The museum inside was very small, but go to the gift shop and buy the $5 cd that will guide you through an interpretive tour through the Battlefield. There are signs that will guide you through. The area is filled with lovely trees. We also saw deer and squirrels.

Beautiful place rich in history and picture worthy sites. We had a brief walk around towards the end of the day and saw a bunch of interesting locations. Beach was busy with families swimming and the piers had people fishing. I plan on returning to explore more into this treasure on the Chesapeake. Looks nice for riding a bike!

I have loved visiting Fort Monroe over the years. We have watched it evolve from an Active Army base to the beautiful civilian destination it is now. You must visit the new Welcome Center. Their are wonderful resources to make the most of your visit. There’s a Museum located inside the moat, don’t miss it! And, of course, beautiful beaches!

The kids and myself, had lots of fun. We walked around taking silly videos and pics, I’m pretty sure people lived in the small town with in the Fort. We saw a few tours going on but we jus walked around looking at the amazing views. Just seeing all the older buildings was pretty neat i highly recommend going, oh and it’s free to get in.

Fort Monroe is a true gem here in the state of Virginia. The history is beyond compare, Locations where Lincoln stayed, The location where Jefferson was incarcerated, Also where speeches of the past were given. You can walk the entire fort and still not see it all. It’s fun to walk on the top of the mote, just be aware of the edge. There is a outstanding view of the ocean where it your lucky, you can catch some pretty cool ships going by. A must see and its free!

Outlook beach was a good attraction. The campus has so many historical buildings used by army at one point. One house had a note that President Lincoln visited stayed there. Such narrow underpasses to go through to see the beach. So many residential buildings too!! I thought it was a historical site only. I didn’t see an actual fort but again it is a big campus and I stopped looking after I got to the beach. May be I missed it. There was a food truck in the lot of the beach. Cops were present all the time and crowd was pretty friendly.

This was a great place to take my boys, 5 and 7 years old. We spent 4 hours here and it was easy to do. The boys loved the Dinosaur Discovery Trail and the Vet and Keeper play area. Their Cafe wasn’t open but we brought our lunch so it wasn’t an issue for us. The staff here is very helpful and friendly which is starting to become a rarity these days.

A great experience for young kids, various fish, animals and outdoor scenery. . I enjoyed more than the kids. Nice outdoor areas for couples to sit, relax and walk the grounds. Little disappointed that the bird area was closed, didn’t see any butterfly. The exhibit the fun and interactive amazing pollinators.
Best time to visit during the week and before noon..

Great place to spend the day. There are multiple exhibits you can see. There is a beautiful boardwalk section where you can view various animals. There’s demonstrations throughout the day like the alligator feeding. All of the staff are informative and will happily answer your questions.
    There’s also a kid’s dinosaur area.

Lovely assortment of things to do for a variety of ages. I’m nearly 50 and took my dad there for an exploration of the city he’s lived in for less than a year.

Part museum, part aquarium, part zoo, all interesting! Sharon was a wealth of knowledge in the zoo area. Friendly staff, gorgeous grounds.

Ok, how did I not know about this spot! If you have children 10 and under and you live in VA it’s a must bring. It’s spacious, fun, educational and they maximize indoors and outdoors….just take a look at the pics. We are totally coming back. The adults loved it too?

The hiking trails are great and vary in difficult. Very clean and well kept with very low amount of litter. Park Rangers were very friendly. Just recently moved here from Oklahoma and the quality of this park far exceeds most of the ones down there. Will definitely be returning frequently and utilizing the bike trails. The walking bridge across the water was a very nice perk as well.

We went for the Christmas Lights. It was lots of fun for the kids and with Covid being in the car was best for that season.
They have lots of display and the ride is very enjoyable.
The only thing I wished they had done better was the music. I wished music was linked to the drive. I went to a Christmas Light in Richmond the year before and that made the experience even better.
But it is still a nice experience.

We stayed one night on the B loop. Water and electric as well as a fire ring and picnic table were provided and convenient to use. The pad site was relatively level and was asphalt.

Road noise wasn’t too bad. Overall it was a pleasant stay and we’ll definitely stay here again as it is close to Yorktown.

My fitness group works out here three times a week. There are always active people around the trails, some with stroller and others with dogs. The sunrises are beautiful over the water and from the bridge. There is a lot of wildlife too! Great place, highly recommend!
