I think this park would be most enjoyed by families with adventurous kids or adults that are excited by heights.
Being neither, we found the enjoyment that we got from the park to be a bit unworthy of the cost.
The main feature, the suspension bridge, is very cool. I liked learning about it and traversing it a few times back and forth. But that bridge is simply not worth the $66 (CAD) adult ticket. And the other additions to the park (the cliff walk, the treetop adventure, and the neat birds) didn’t quite make up the difference for us either.
Especially when you can find a suspension bridge (that is not quite as high or as long) a short drive away at Lynn Creek Canyon for free.
So again, I think for families with kids, this would probably be a really fun way to spend an afternoon. Do keep in mind that everything cool in the park requires you to cross the 270ft/70m high bridge that moves with every step someone makes. So if your kid (or you for that matter) can’t make it over the bridge, then you can’t access any of the other park features except the cliff walk, the gift shop, and the restaurants.
As an additional note, we were there while the special Halloween decorations were up and we really loved that addition. We also saw that a Christmas light display would be following it. This DID add to the value for us and I would recommend that other try to time their visits to the park with some thing special like that.

Free shuttle to and from the Hyatt downtown on a clean coach bus, beautiful 20min drive to the park. No wait to get in, not crowded, quite peaceful (we went on a Wed around 4pm, perfect time to avoid crowds and get the evening discount). I have never been to a park so clean, well constructed and finished so beautifully. The bridge itself is very cool, but the other add-on courses/trails were an extra bonus. There is a treetop bridge course, a pond trail, and a nature’s edge walk. All trails are wood-boarded so you don’t have to worry about mud/getting your shoes dirty. The views are spectacular, of the mountains, water below, and the vast forest surrounding. Very well done. As someone who is not a huge nature person, I absolutely loved the experience. Very much worth the trip, and you get a bang for your buck. One of my favourite things we did while in Vancouver. We went yesterday, there were showers intermittently, however enjoyed the rain forest with rain. Walking on other wooden bridges also give you nice experience if you’re visiting for the first time. Ticket price is on the higher side, visiting in the lights is worth the experience as well, in the entrance you can see the Totem poles, don’t miss the board walk and photo frame view.By Porkaipandian Gopalakrishnan (8 months ago)Went for the Love Lights, and it was so beautiful!!!! Lights were even on during the day, but it is more magical at night. Parking is across the street from entrance, was $6 for 3hrs. Went around 4pm so we could experience the lights during the day and night sky. It was a weekday, so wasn’t very busy and we had great photos without people in the background. It was chilly at first but with all the walking you warm up really fast. Super romantic yet family friendly. Totally worth it go to especially if you’re a BC resident so you get an annual pass for the price of one visit. My only wish is that it stayed open longer because once the sky gets dark around 5pm we only had 1 hr to enjoy the lights since it closed at 6pm. We spent 2 hrs there, got to see everything, but I wish we stayed longer. Overall, TOTALLY WORTH IT TO GO!!!By Jacquie Vargas (12 months ago)This is a tourist hot spot but was super impressive. It was much better than what I originally expected. The park includes shaded walking trails for all fitness levels. The views from the treetop structures and suspension bridge are stunning. I thought the price to be steep but then realized the engineering marvel this place is when you consider the expansive cliff walk and other structures that must have been costly to install and continue to maintain. My wife and I are glad we went. I should also mention they offer a free shuttle from 3 locations from downtown Vancouver that operate every 15 minutes year round. Great place for food but it is pricey. Lots of exotic fruits and vegetables that are hard to find. It is a fantastic market to walk around and taste various foods. There are lots of food stalls, as well as fresh fruit, veg and fish. We tried some amazing local delicacies of ‘candied salmon’. Some of the food prices are a bit higher than elsewhere but I suppose this reflects the independent food stalls. Stanley Park really has the best scenery in Vancouver and quite spacious. It’s well kept and had a lot of things to check out especially as a tourist. It was quite quiet during the time I went (around 6pm). There is a lot of walking to get around however, it’s worth the long walks for these amazing views of nature.
There are a lot of paid parking spots around the area and the fee isn’t too bad for a short 1 or 2 hr visit. I highly recommend visiting Stanley Park!
Absolutely wonderful park, my family and I had a blast walking around and looking at the beautiful Vancouver skyline. I enjoyed the walk along the perimeter of the park along the water, and saw my first ever floating Chevron on the harbor! Cool totem poles, walkway, garden, geocaches, tree trunk arch, statues, informational signs, and views. The atmosphere was wonderful, with lots of families and people walking around and enjoying the wonderful Sunday afternoon. I highly recommend visiting this park if you’re in the Vancouver area!
We had so much fun here. We rented a motorized scooter (highly recommend), we went around the park twice taking different paths, stopping to have picnic, enjoy the view, take some photos and wish to be at the pool at one end of the park.
There is so much to see and do, we will definitely return.
Best park I visited ever. Beautiful maintained. We preferred walking over the side of water rather than taking cycles and horse carriage. A very pleasant place. Walking paths and cycling paths are separated here Our eye will lock many spots in the park like aquariums, bridges, Broadways, skyscrapers, cruises and so on. Words are not enough to describe this place. I think a single day is not enough to watch the park fully.

Exquisite place to visit! Lots of things to do here if you enjoy sightseeing or nature. Nice to run or bike or just exercise too. lots of green space and views of the water! Must visit when you come to Vancouver! Even just chilling here for a few hours feels really good mentally.
