Small but very nice natural area park with a spring-fed creek that runs in all seasons. In the summer it can be quite busy but winter is a good time to visit when fewer people are on the trails. There are some interesting geological features along the trails and signage discussing the history of the area. There is also a lot of wildlife in the area and makes for some good bird watching.
The recently upgraded boardwalks over the creek are a nice touch and make for intuitive stops along the trails. The trails are fairly short and should be manageable for kids. The upper part of the park is a bit steeper and uneven and may be challenging for people with mobility issues. Regardless, the lower half of the park is easy to explore and enjoy.
By Matt Wallace (a month ago)I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could since it’s not a very big park. But it makes up for it by its beauty. Perfect for families and young kids. The streams and waterfalls are fantastic. The fact that it’s just outside of Calgary is another major plus and it’s nestled in a picturesque coulee. It’s a very short walk/hike so don’t expect to get a workout, unless you loop it a few times.By RC (5 months ago)Calm and relaxing during weekday mornings. Best time to bring the family for picnic, while the kids are playing by the creek. There’s a good trail with gradual elevation on the way to the top. They renovated the landscape, trail path and added steel stairs on steep elevation. Lots of parking in the area too and maintained very well.By nomad_paul (7 months ago)2020: Love this place. Although I have not been since the construction. But a couple years ago, it was a really nice hike and place to spend the day.Update: May 2022 : Still a beautiful family hike. With two childreen and stopping to take lots of photos and have snacks it took us 1 hour to explore and walk around the loop!!!
By katy may (9 months ago)A couple small hikes can be done here, or they can be combined into one (still small) hike. We explored this on January 1, 2022. I have been here many times before. It has been closed for some time for upgrading. The trails are upgraded, but there is a lot less to see now. Even though I understand why it is a little disappointing. You can no longer go to the source of the water.By Ron Strauss (a year ago)

A good sized park for Airdrie. Catch and release fish pond, a couple of playgrounds, an off leash dog park, tennis court, and lots of walking paths.By Rebecca White (5 months ago)My family and I had such a wonderful afternoon at the children’s festival which was free of charge and run by incredible volunteers so happy and friendly and grateful to be involved. There are so many great causes and beautiful attractions for the kids to have fun with. They were food trucks as well as activities and even the local police and fire fighters Were there so you could explore the fire trucks. It’s great to see a local community with a great cause supporting each other. I will definitely check it out next year and I hope you do too.By Joshua Semenok (8 months ago)Very nice and well maintained park for all ages, especially for kids. They have a little train ride in the park, during the Airdrie light festival.By Black wind (2 months ago)Super nice park, great pathways, great parks, frequent events etc. It’s well maintained and safe for kids, and the stage has been recently updated. We come back from Calgary to visit for the festival of lights.By Tara Doll (a month ago)Great park! The bathrooms are clean, plenty of space to have a family picnic, go for bike rides, great events in the summer, fishing with the little kids, ice skating in the winter, Christmas lights and lots more.By Claudia Barraza (a year ago)

This is a great place for all people and families. Would get 5 stars but they so close way to early on days/sort of holidays or for events. They also are now getting to pricey with increases to memberships, many people now not renewing and moving on to other facilities.
The place is calm, respectful vibes with a whole lot to do. The pool is reasonably entertaining but the classes they provide are exceptional
Great facility with something for everyone! Love that the kids can hang out all day! Staff are friendly and helpful and every thing is clean!
The pool was good but they needed to limit the amount of people, it was way too crowded, The water slide wait times were almost 20 mins. And WAY WAY WAY OVERPRICED. Olds pool has almost the same and it’s $12 for a family of 5 versus Airdrie at the cost of $60.
Nice facility. Lots of options for activities. Pool locker rooms need repairs and major upgrades. Family locker room is the worst. Not enough change rooms and always smells like pee
