Big Nickle was very interesting and any kid would love it. The under ground tour was amazing and our tour guide Shyanne or Shy was very knowledgeable and funny. Some of the interactive things the kids could do were not working. Very reasonably priced and a few pkg options to choose from. It’s a giant nickle placed on a hill top – people come and take a few pictures with it but you can relax on the rocks gazing at the valley as well.
No cost and ample parking.

The mines were outstanding and great in length, not too short or long of a tour.

Huge nickel standing on a higher point, staring into the city in fortune. Was there over weekend, windy day, people come in, stay for a while, take photos and leave. The museum next to it wasn’t open, so I stayed for awhile, enjoy the aura of this big nickel before heading back to GTA. This is the best conservation park with beautiful views at falls season, with red adn yellow leaves, and mirror-like lake. So beautiful to take pictures.
The trails are also not difficult. It was easy with beautiful and quiet place, not crowded. No admission fee. But the parking lot is quite limited. I will recommend to come here. Parking is also free, but to be parked on one side of the road or at the lake. The lake is beautiful and the views are amazing. We visited over the weekend and there was no rush. It’s about 15 minutes drive from the town of Sudbury.
It has some beautiful hidden trails and all the trails are scenic and beautiful.
The best time to go there is during fall.
During proper fall. This is one of the best place to see colours of fall.

Bell park is beautiful. It has a long boardwalk trail that goes around the lake. Kids loved it
they kept rolling down the hill. There is a gazebo near the lake. Benches through out if you need to sit and rest or just sit and enjoy the view. We went in December so lots of snow and ice. It looked gorgeous. Saw people walking their dogs. Washrooms are available, not sure if they were open. Bell park parking was closed but there is plenty of parking across the road. You can easily park and walk across to enter the park. Drop by if you are visiting Sudbury area.
Bell park is a great place to spend an afternoon with family . There are public washrooms, a drinking fountain and a concession stand open during regular business hours. There’s a park for littles, a little workout area, gazebos, benches everywhere and even a new inflatable water park. There is 1 supervised beach and a few unsupervised ones. The boardwalk is always lovely, and there a few different paths you can take on your walk as you enjoy your view of the lake and all the animals around, including squirrels and ducks. I definitely recommend coming here at least once if you’re in Sudbury.
I just Love Bell Park. Enjoyed the Northern Lights Festival while admission was free. It’s nice to look around and support local vendors. Love to Walk the boardwalk. Parking was so very easy this year on weekends. It’s a great location however The old hospital sure is an eye sore 🙈
I have just visited Sudbury and found this park. Such a clean,beautiful and huge park.
The park is nicely designed. You can have a view of lake while walking.
There are a part for water play and playground for kids near the beach.
Free parking lots and clean washrooms.
Good to know that parking lot is other side of intersection.
Honestly a nice little park with many walking paths to give way to a nice evening jaunt.
The inflatable water park kind of distracts from nice scenery but what can you do.
I parked near the mural and walked, did a loop.
Free to park.
Clean.
Nice evening.
Some inclines and declines for challenges.
