  1. Amazing place to visit if you live in Montreal or just visiting.

Old Montreal buildings and modern city activities make this place unique.

Fancy restaurants, street food and fun things to do.

Only 2 reasons why I gave it 4 stars is:

No parking if you are not willing to pay a lot or find free spots.

Overall prices for activities are way to expensive. Make sure to have at least 100$ per person to enjoy little things here and there.

  2. An iconic part of town, a must visit if you are coming to Montreal, we didn’t eat during visit but expect same quality and pricing for any downtown restaurants, many restaurantshave their menus outside to make it easy, both English and French. Recommend you plan your visit there things for both kids and adults. The sky wheel adds an extra view of the town but at 30$ adults can be much.

Parking in the area is moderate about 22$ for all day. Great shops and walking path to get that perfect euro style pictures. A gem away from euro and a piece of Canadian french heritage. There are other things to do in Montréal this is just one of the many things you can do. Enjoy.

  3. A must to visit, can spend hours here. Has so much to see and do and taste and shop. Love the set up never a dull moment. Can see an. Attraction have pizza or shop the markets, try a smootie or walk to the clock tower.

  4. Great experience walking path of old town seeing historical buildings and local life. I wish the weather was better, but it was ok we took it anyway. A bit chilly next to the water with seagull’s frying around only think we concern was we don’t want to get bird bomb 😀

I got tons of picture and its worth walking.

  5. A must visit place for out of town visitors, great time to spend, there’s lots to do for both adults and kids. Has a great board walk, small shops, kids play area, bicycle rentals and lanes to ride on. Some of the pictures are from areas nearby

One of the most stunning urban parks around. I have visited this park in the dead of winter, as well as during the splendid summer, and it never ceases to amaze me how huge and fantastic the park is. The stairs can be treacherous in the winter, please wear appropriate footwear!

You can walk on nicely developed trails, or opt for more a more remote and wild variety; or you can opt to accelerate your ascent to the top by taking the stairs.

The view at the top is iconic, as is the cross on the other side of the mountain top.

The chateau at the top is also impressively large.

Try your best to see the city on a clear day, you can see as far as the mountains many miles away.

This park is so big that even when it’s busy, it is still quite tranquil.

A nice hike up. Quite challenging when the stairs are all covered in snow/frozen. Nevertheless, still a great place to walk around in. Saw a lot of people who were cross-country skiing, as well as people walking their dogs. The view would be nice in the evening, but I didn‘t wait for it😅

Very gorgeous park with a stunning view overlooking the entire city. Would definitely recommend for newcomers looking to take nice photos.

They also have a chalet cafe and a hike ground.

Nice place to enjoy quality time and fun. It’s super close to the city centre, so just hop on a bus up to the top of the mountain and enjoy some winter fun. You can enjoy Ice skating on Beaver Lake (Mount Royal) and One of my favourite things to do is SNOW TUBING! You won’t be able to stop yourself from screaming, smiling… and making your way to the top to do it ALL OVER AGAIN! What a buzz!

It is the most beautiful church i have ever been to. The area is huge and the interior is so pretty. The statues and paintings all have history behind it. It was nice to know the our past is preserved in such an honourable way. The upper area was closed at the time. But the front alone is gigantic. You can sit there for hours and feel the serenity.

During COVID times, as with everything else, advanced reservations were required to enter. Purchased tickets for the light show here. It is one of the top ten greatest experiences I’ve ever had. The animations and accompanying music was absolutely breathtaking. After the show, the house lights came on and we were able to view the basilica in its natural splendor. A site not to be missed

What a breathtaking experience AURA was. I had never seen something like that before — not even in the Tokyo digital arts expo. Sublime and perfectly developed. I’m not religious myself but the show has nothing to with the catholic credo.

The basilica is gorgeous in its own right, but aura makes it a thousand times incredible. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Montreal

It’s a very beautiful place that has an amazing architecture from the outside and the inside is even more stunning. The light show at night was an incredibly amazing experience. You can take pictures before the show starts but filming and taking pictures of the show is not allowed. You are allowed to stay inside for quite a while after the show and walk around to see the place or buy a separate site seeing ticket for a self guided tour in the morning hours. Tickets can be purchased online and you have the option of buying a combo for both siteseeing and the light show. A must see place if you’re visiting Montreal.
