What a special time to go with the kids. Being my first time, I was very impressed by how this place is put together. There is way more to do than I thought, and it was enjoyable for the kids and myself. There are so many different activities to do besides the corn maze from a huge jumping pillow, sand toys, bubble station, and so much more. Only complaint is that there are a few stations that were run down but the kids did not care. I just went with my girlfriend but it was still fun. The maze was the highlight and also delicious ice cream, lemonade and popcorn.

Unfortunately we didn’t do the maze this year but we did take our daughter to choose her very first pumpkin!

Kids love it there, long and short maze, pumpkin patch, fire pit, for kids bouncing thing, tractor ride…food, amazing stuff, very polite and cheerful!

Very nice, casual trails for walking. Especially if you want to give your legs a slight break from all the mountain trails! I just wish I could have been here during the seasons for Salmon or the Herons.By Connor (7 months ago)Fantastic area for nature walks and seeing all sorts of fauna and flora that you don’t get a chance to see much in the city. As the name suggests, herons are abundant as well as many types of ducks, geese and waterfowl, many songbirds, eagles, osprey and other raptors, cormorants, ravens and kingfishers. There are beavers routinely seen at dawn and dusk and sporadically throughout the day. There are occasionally otters as well. Too much to list. Great place for the family and a decent spot to start a bike ride or jog from as the reserve connects directly to the Rotary Trail along the Vedder.By Bee Eugene (7 months ago)There weren’t many herons in the park (mostly ducks). The paths were easy to follow and well maintained. The tower… really doesn’t give you a view of anything. Walking along the river we saw a few herons and walking back we went by many horse farms. I enjoyed taking pictures of native wildlife and plants. The trails wrap around various ponds and rivers so you can take a closer look at the critters swimming about. They even have hunter blinds located throughout the park so you can watch the wildlife without startling them. A beautiful drive out to this lake. Amazing scenery. Lake is a glacier fed lake so it’s cold. On a hot day its probably a nice relief. Sandy beach is perfect for families.
Gorgeous lake with snow capped mountains. Cheap but close to one another camp sites. Very regulated for noise control. Nobody too rowdy. Very small beach front though. No room to lay on beach. Must use floating devices. Had a great time!!
So incredibly beautiful. If you follow the missing 411 and are terrified by the idea, well there are a lot of boulders and huckleberries here. Not to mention a few too many people going missing under very odd circumstances. Some just never show up again. Bodies just disappear and never surface. So, I was very scared about this place when we arrived. I saw these massive boulders everywhere and despite all the fears in my head, I had a wonderful time sleeping in a tent. I never would have gone because of the many YouTube videos I’ve seen on the 411. But family invited us up. So I went. It was great to go. Nothing bad happened. I used to love camping and now I feel like maybe I will do it again. Before this trip I was never planning on camping, ever, ever, EVER AGAIN! Anyways, the extreme beauty of this spot was so beyond words.
This lake is a real gem. Cultus is the popular tourist spot in the area but Chilliwack Lake is the real place you want to go. The lake and surrounding mountains are beautiful and the beach is sandy and great. There’s lots of space in the main day use area, but also some great more remote spots along the forest service road that runs beside it. Amazing spot. Water cold compared to Cultus because it’s glacier fed, so best to visit on a hot summer day!
Hiked up to Mount MacDonald and Mount Webb with three hiking buddies. Great day of hiking with great weather. 25km 2000meters of elevation gain in the beautiful back country of BC.
