A nice hike that connects to a bigger trail system! Only went up and down the falls which were partially frozen over but it was a pretty pleasant walk! You can only cross over the falls at the bridge about 1/3rd of the way up. Would like to come back and explore the rest of the trails near the college!By Patrick (a month ago)A good place to relax and enjoy nature. The falls are actually deeper into the woods and it takes about 7 to 8 minute trail to reach there.
Since it’s one of the popular place to visit in northbay and parking area is so small there could be a problem to park, we had to wait for a while till one car left.
Also due to highway it’s easy to miss the spot, there are not many direction boards placed nearby.
Overall the trail is good mountain trail and inside is super peaceful and serene.
By Muhammad umair (5 months ago)This was a nice hike. There were waterfalls every few hundred feet and you’re walking mainly on a stone and roots path so it’s a good idea to have sneakers or hiking boots and I was glad I took my walking stick with me.

It’s a fun hiking spot with multiple trails of varying difficulty to explore. This is one if the finest lake beach I ever saw. The white sand, the gentle slope to the lake water make it very attractive. As the water is not deep near the beach even kids can play safely. Moreover within walking distance you can get boat and bicycle for rent, toy train ride for only $2. First time visiting North Bay, Ontario and I must say, I was a excited & delighted. Visiting Lee Park showed me that there’s so much to explore and learn. There’s a bike trail that connects to the park, a monument of a large retired RCAF plane and there are other bits of things to also learn about the park and it’s history as you look around it’s surroundings. I’d definitely recommend this park to any adventurist or tourist new to the area or is looking to take a bit of history back with them, you’ll definitely find some here.
Went here for a classic car show and got to see some amazing cars in North Bay! Probably the finest collection in that region
It’s a nice park to stop by on your trip to North Bay. The landmark gate was under some maintenance when I visited, otherwise cool place to take pictures or just relax.
Nice little park to stop by, look around and have a picnic. There was maintenance going on when I visited, but I still had a good time
Lee park is my kids favourite. The park itself is wonderful and kept up pretty well, it’s fenced off on two sides to keep the kids from escaping to areas they shouldn’t go. There is also a great fitness park that adults or kids can use and tons of space to run around or have a picnic. There is a pavilion with bathrooms open during the warmer months and also I’m the winter this park is wonderful for sledding and when they open up their ice skating rinks through it. Couldn’t ask for a better area for the family.
