  1. Loved the place even were not able to room around because having a conflict time.. actually we are attending the Filipino festival were those all Filipinos gathering and having fun lot of activities.. one of my husband doing a concert or singing in front of those beautiful people…

  2. First time here. A must return venue. My photo collection from here is fascinating. Every turn on the pathways demand another photo.

  3. Great park in the city for a walk along the river or paddle a canoe down it. Festivals and activities often hosted here. Lots of tables for a lunch with a view.

  4. What a lovely gem in the heart of Red Deer, beautiful paved walking trails, pond and playground area for children., and is also pet friendly. The Cronquist Tea House is a beautiful Victorian style ‘mansion’ and is located within the park. The park is a lovely place to spend the day…

  5. My family and I love going to Bower Ponds. We often rent a pedal boat and tour around the pond. There are washrooms here, a concession and a childrens playground. You can also rent an electric scooter to tour around. They have some picnic tables and a trail around part of the pond.

I bought the romantic vacation package I believe it’s called. The jacuzzi room that came with the package was nice. Big like a hot tub. The slay ride and five course meal was nice. But as I find out and five course meals are a thing stretched out. Something to keep in mind. All in all it was a good weekend in red deer. Something to try once.

Well worth the drive from Calgary. The staff are friendly and inviting. The restaurant on the ranch is quiet and perfect for a relaxing night. The menu is $$ _ $$$… but you get what you pay for. Best of the best. We will be coming back soon.

Sleigh ride was authentic and if you have not been on one it is worth it.
    An adventure well worth trying!!!

What a fabulous wedding venue! Kim kept in touch with us the last 2 years. They were amazing with rescheduling due to Covid. Kim was easy to communicate, organized and professional. She thought of things like umbrellas and a cooler for the heat that had not crossed my mind. This is a perfect location for any type of wedding. The food was phenomenal. They plated 50 steak dinners cooked to perfection with the most delicious quinoa and salad dressing. Shout out to chef Raj and his team. Rachael and the other members of the bartending team kept the party going. I feel like a have known them for a lifetime. When I asked what I had to do prior to the end of the night they took care of it all.
They made special arrangements to have the ponies stay late for our guests and our kids. Ashley who drove our carriage never rushed us and gave us extra time for pictures. Of course shout out to Pearl and Ruby our Belgium carriage horses. Wow. Just wow! If you are a bride looking for a gorgeous venue this is it!

People going by on the walking trails, great staff, just beside the river and lots to see especially if you’re into horses !

Say hi to Joel when you go ! He’s the owner and he does a great job running that place

We had a great experienced exploring the area. We walked in the morning. Lots of amazing scenery. Lots of trails. Walking trails are mixture of pave and gravel, depends on which trail you will take. There is a pond in the area which is perfect for fishing. Lots of trees in the surrounding. We were able to see the horses in the ranch. Another great adventure. Another great memories from Red Deer.

It is always a delightful place to enjoy nature. The trails are well groomed for walking or bike riding. The birds never disappoint you coming to feed sunflower seeds from your hand. And we had the cautious pleasure of seeing a moose at the rivers edge today.

Fun activity for families. The water is shallow, I’d say around knee level on the bottom so it’s safe for kids. There’s a place where you can rent the tube. It was $6 per tube and you cal also order snacks there.

It’s a wonderful place for a family. The sand is soft and the water at most is 3 feet deep. You can bring your own tunes or rent for $6.00 a person.

We visited this last Saturday. It was packed with people. The line was up was really long. We didn’t go to try the lazy river, but it looked fun. I gave a 3 star because it has so many people that the line up to go down the river was so long. Even the line up in the women’s washroom was so long. But it seems that there’s a lot of space if you want to do picnic. There’s also a playground for the kids.
