  1. Love this place. Quincy market is the best. Recommended for visitors and locals. I can get my pizza, lobster roll, candy apple and cannoli fix all in one spot!!! And last time I went they had live music which was super cool!!

  2. Amazing food vendors. Awesome stores. Great foods. Wasn’t too crowded but it was still crowded on a Friday afternoon. The entire market was surprisingly clean. But the bathrooms were not, especially in the men’s bathroom. It is a public area so no surprise. Each vendor has their own unique type of foods as well. The clam chowder is excellent from any of the vendors. Didn’t have a bad experience with any of the clam chowder. The lobster rolls were great but expect to pay $30+ for lobster rolls. The seafood here is expensive. Expect to spend easily over $50 for food. Overall, a cool place to check out but don’t forget to budget in the parking lot fee if you’re on a budget.

  3. A great fun spot with live entertainment, lots of shops for accessories, Boston gifts and food (Chowda, seafood, sandwiches, ice cream etc). Lots of parks and historical sites are close by too, making it a great place to stop by.

When we went, there was a live dance and magic show.

There is also a dinosaur ride here which is exciting and fun for kids. If you want to buy Boston gifts, the stalls are cheaper for shirts and caps (but variable prices) while the shops have more options.

  4. This is a really cool place in Boston. They have so many food options. It’s like a food market. And the building is really nice. Only thing they don’t have enough seating options. The day we went it was very crowded we didn’t find any chair. Difficult to find parking near by. You have to park far and walk. But worth going there.

  5. This is definitely a must see if you ever visit Boston. It is surrounded by a ton of history & has a ton of food inside. How can you go wrong with that? From fresh seafood like the hot butter lobster rolls, which are fantastic to pizza, sausage, oriental, BBQ, ice cream & so much more. You will definitely find something that you like!!!

Boston Common should not be confused with Boston Public Gardens, which is right next to it. Boston Common is more likely to have homeless hanging around that the gardens and it also has no flower displays. It is more like a city green space than the public gardens beside it.

That being said, you can easily walk around the Commons in 30 minutes, and the Commons/Public garden in an hour. It is centrally located which can make the green space a nice break from the surrounding city. Beneath Boston Common is a parking garage. The red line T also drops you off below the park.

The visitors center is nice and clean with a public restroom and souvenirs you can buy. There is also a playground for kids.

There is also to do surrounding the park so it is a good jumping off point if you want to explore the Freedom trail, walk along Boylston street etc.

The commons also has events, plays are put on here, protests are held, movie nights etc. As mentioned it is utilized best as a gathering/even space with the Gardens next door being the nice, quiet, pretty attraction.

In a word, beautiful! From American Revolution tours and delicious food to gorgeous scenery and skaters with rad tricks. This classy and clean space is beautiful for solo or family visits; amazing Tadpole playground, scenic walking areas, it has a lot for everyone.

The Boston Common and the Public garden is a very beautiful public park in downtown Boston, Massachusetts. It is the oldest city park in the United States. Any time of year is a good time to visit the Garden and walk along the esplanade , but summer and fall are really spectacular to enjoy the color and splendor of the plantings and foliage. Really a lovely place

I love the commons. It’s so beautiful throughout every season, but especially spring and fall. Always a joy to visit when the tulips are blooming. It’s a nice place to take my dog to walk, and to enjoy nature in the city. It generally is very peaceful even when it’s busy.

Best zoo experience! The walk around the park moves at a nice pace and even for a discount weekend day the crowds were not bad and the lines to see exhibits were nonexistent. The animals are all in nice enclosures but they’re all easy to see and take pictures of from the path. The two interactive animal enclosures were a lot of fun and highly recommended. Great overall experience!

This place is absolutely fantastic. I’ve visited a few times and took some amazing pictures of the wildlife that is there. It is clear that the staff really do care for the animals and provide clean and big enclosures for their animals to exhibit their natural behaviors. Of course, no zoo will ever be able to replicate the wild entirely but they are doing their best and it clearly shows. There’s plenty of activities for kids to do and plenty of fun for adults as well. There are food stops around the zoo to grab a quick snack as well as gift shops and I especially like the skyfari ride that lets you see the whole zoo from a Birdseye view. I would definitely recommend visiting this place.

This zoo is so beautiful! I really enjoyed the ride that brings you over the zoo! Visited at the best time because all of the baby animals! The little prairie dogs were so tiny and adorable! And all of the baby monkeys just stole my heart!

Best zoo in New England. The animal variety is surprising! My favorites today were the Deer Forest where you can walk among and feed deer, the young Emus, the Rhinoceros, the Lions and Bengal Tigers, so many monkey species, and even more birds. The animal enclosures made viewing easy, and the animals are clearly well cared-for. The animal care-takers were great ambassadors and truly went the extra mile answering questions for elementary school-aged kids.
