  1. Absolutely gorgeous park that brings the city together as it shows the harmonious symbioticness between the river falls and skyscrapers. The extensive walking path purposely weaves everyone through the landscape with great views of the waterfall. The Liberty Bridge politely calls attention to its engineering marvel. What a great place to spend an afternoon people watching and soaking up the city vibe. Also a great place to take the pets!

  2. What a beautiful and thoughtful place. We visited in the morning – the air was crisp, the water was flowing, and there were just a few people. We can’t wait to come back and relax on a swinging bench and take in more of the area. We parked downtown and took advantage of the free 2-hour street parking – it was about a half mile walk. Just gorgeous!

  3. Beautiful and relaxing walk in the middle of the city. Great views all around. In the summer, it is very hot, so be sure to bring some water and stay hydrated. A few public restrooms are scattered throughout the path as well, which is great. Lots of history so if you’re a nerd for learning like I am, there are a few plaques to read which I found interesting.

  4. We sat in a Shaded little swing facing the falls. Surrounded by deep dark lush foliage and the air so hot that your skin felt Sticky…then a gentle breeze comes and it cools you down. The water was quite pleasant for creek stomping too. The trail seemed to be a system of trails that connect and options for a park and even a workout ??‍♀️ section along one part of this system near the falls. Also it is stroller friendly!!!

  5. Falls park is unlike any other place in our country. It’s beauty is supported by the eclectic nature of its city surroundings. Amenities aplenty including restrooms, eateries, many shops, galleries, picnicking areas, and walking paths. Dog friendly, the park is a playground of exploration for both children and fun seeking adults alike. The park IS the destination for those people in search of wonder and relaxation.

We visited on Friday 4/8/2022 – We arrived at the Zoo around 10:30 am. I did not have to wait long to purchase my ticket even though there was a small line. My daughter and I spent a good hour – hour & half, venturing around the open exhibits. Our favorite was the giraffes ! ??? The “baby” one kept running around between the adults, it was so cute! The Ocelot was super cute! The Leopard was GORGEOUS ? Some animals were not present & some things were being built, so there is some construction – That just means more animals are coming , so let’s be patient while we wait! ? Several different playgrounds on site. Gift shop is reasonably priced as well. We didn’t not purchase any food or drinks. There was a shaved ice truck also out front when we left. It was a nice thing to enjoy with my child on a Friday ! ✨️?? They do hold special dates & seasonal events. Membership & group rates are available per request! Check out their website before heading out. I recommend the Greenville Zoo to locals & those passing through ! ????????✨️

A beautiful experience, with well cared for animals and clean atmosphere. Even with the little bit of renovating going on, the animals were quite relaxed and seemed happy. The kids had a blast! A great little seating area for snacks, and a large park for the little ones to let off some energy. Stay until near closing and you can get some interactions with the cats as they await dinnertime.

Wonderful zoo! Well designed and small enough for kids to walk around comfortably but plenty to see! Took us around an hour to walk though the whole park. My kids really enjoyed seeing the alligator, giraffes, lions, and monkeys. There’s also a nice park right next to the zoo.

I love all the improvements to the Zoo. Our granddaughter had such a wonderful time. She was literally squealing with delight at all the different animals. All the animals and their enclosures were clean and healthy. The reptile exhibit was outstanding! The staff was friendly, especially the lady in the gift shop. Keep up the excellent work!

Overall its a nice zoo. You cam see the whole thing in about an hour, faster if you have excited kids that move quickly. The gift shop was ok but per usual expensive. The day we went the animals were out of hiding which was nice.

What a wonderful park! I stayed in the campground for 5 days, didn’t have a chance to do much exploring as I was visiting family, but I will def be back. There are numerous trails for pedestrians and cyclists. A gorgeous lake for swimming and boating. There is a designated swimming area that is quite small and not very deep, but still refreshing and plenty of fun. The beach is not accessible, there are a bunch of stairs and no ramp, although it’s possible I missed it. The lake had free lifejackets folks could use and pedal boat and kayaks for rent.

Great experience, accessible trails, pretty scenery.

Everything was well maintained, and they even had fishing poles and tackle in the visitor’s center you can use for free.

We took the trail around the lake, and it was very easy to walk, with lots to see. I really loved the dam and the bridges. There is so much to do here I will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful park. It has many different trails. You can challenge yourself. Some of the paths are for only people walking. Other treks you share with mountain bikers. Personally, the trails were too busy for me. I constantly had to stop to let bikers pass me. Overall an excellent adventure.

Beautiful state park with lots of parking. The booking trails are easy to moderate. You can rent paddle boats for two and swim in the lake near the first Lake.

Been here a couple of times. Great State Park. Camping section is small, but there seems to be a great rotation of campers in and out. Sights are limited for large RVs. We camped we a 30′ RV trailer. We’ll camp here again

We went to escape artist for a double date and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The attention to detail in the rooms for the experience is great, and the actors are so awesome, we had Carissa and Thomas and they were great! And they add a whole new level to the experience. We will definitely be coming back to do another escape room with them. It was the best we’ve been to. Hands down!

My husband and I had the best time at Escape Artist Greenville – Downtown. We decided to try a room for my birthday, just the two of us. On the administrative side, everything flowed well. It was easy to schedule a room online, the experience started on time, and parking was plentiful. Artistically, the details of the room we chose wowed us. You can tell a lot of time and care has been put into the experience. If you like horror, we’d highly recommend the Starlight Motel. One of the more memorable experiences I’ve had on my birthday, and definitely the best escape room experience I’ve had. Finally, Audrey and Becca, the staff we interacted with, were absolute delights. Our experience wouldn’t have been so wonderful without them! We will definitely be returning. 10/10!

Hands down the best venue around. Rooms are challenging and fun and the actors/hosts are always kind. I’ve done several here but had my sight set on Starlight Motel. My friend and I just escaped and it was the most fun we’ve had (and we’ve done a lot!). Vicki was phenomenal in her role. It was adrenaline-filled. The actor interaction truly does set this room apart. No wonder that motel keeps getting a 5-star rating!

My wife and I had a day off of work and away from the kids, so we decided to try an escape room here. We had never done one before, so we called before we booked it so we could pick the right game. Audrey walked us through and had such an upbeat attitude, she made us excited to participate. She was also our guide when we got there, and I can say she is a great person to have in that position. You can tell she loves the games and her excitement rubs off. We were able to finish our room with a couple of hints and felt great about it. Overall it was a great experience, and we’re already telling friends and family that we’re wanting to take them sometime.

We came here with friends and had an absolute blast! Emily hosted us and she was so sweet and enthusiastic about everything! The puzzles are well thought out and placed and the room is very detailed with props. We did the Inventor’s Enigma puzzle and definitely recommend it for a group just out for some fun!

We had our Daughters 7th birthday here & the staff made everything so easy & simple for us! The party room host was kind, attentive, and involved in our party. She interacted with the children, and helped us facilitate trivia for the kids. She definitely went above & beyond in helping make us all feel welcomed. There was so much for everyone to do & the kids can’t wait to come back!

Even though my child is only a year and a half she had so much fun. I was surprised to see how much she was able to play with and almost every section had a toddler’s area to play in. The staff were so polite and helpful. I’m very much looking forward to going back.
Overall it wasn’t very expensive for me and her to go I was surprised they charged for parking but it was only $4 so it wasn’t that bad. It is nice they offer a lunchroom you can buy snacks in or bring your own food. Next time we’ll probably come earlier and eat lunch there so we can spend more time at each exhibit.

I took 4 children ages 4 to 11 on new Years Eve and there was something for all of them. They stayed entertained and had a blast for several hours. There was even a ball drop and Time’s Square style News Years celebration at noon. Of all the activities, their favorite was the Publix Market where they could play shopper, cashier or stock person. The stations are well done and provide seating for parents nearby. There is a huge variety of activities from art to climbing, out door play ground, air play, a teddy bear clinic and much more. The price is comparable to going to the movies and is much more educational and engaging.

This is just an excellent museum that is one piece of what makes Greenville a great city. We get annual memberships every year (worth it) and my son has been here for a field trip with his school. It’s fun, the kids learn and they just have excellent hands on activities. The museum has done a great job of protecting the children during the pandemic and have excellent protocols in place. I recommend this museum to anyone living in or near the city or anyone visiting the city with children and I also recommend it to schools looking for field trip opportunities.

Absolutely loved it. We have been bringing our girls here every time we visit from 3 hours away over the last 13 years. Staff are always very friendly, they honor military and first responders. Bathrooms and attractions are all very clean. Nothing but good to say.
