Very nice area to walk in. It’s clean and well maintained. Several places to east along the way. Nice public art to view. Distances noted along walkway to support walkers. Beautifully done. In late morning there were a good number of people out, but was not at all crowded.By Linda VanBuren (4 months ago)It’s more than a 1.3 mile loop on a 32 acres urban waterfront. The walkway was completed in October 2000, in which the Arkansas River was returned to its historic location in downtown Pueblo. It was diverted from downtown in 1921 after the devastating flood that destroyed Pueblo. It’s a beautiful walk along the river and amongst many historic buildingsBy Lynn Drake (7 months ago)When family or friends come see us we take them down by Arkansas river and Pueblo loves it. Most taking the grandkids down their around 5-6pm they can see the wild animalsBy pauline turner (8 months ago)Really neat to see what they’ve to downtown Pueblo. Used to live there years ago. Glad to see the change. Hope they can keep the area looking nice.By Gene Payne (6 months ago)It was my first visit to the Riverwalk with the kids so we rode the boat. The tour guide was so fun and me and the kids learn so much history of the area. And the ride was well affordable. Will be visiting again soon.By Courtney Smith (4 months ago)

The Pueblo zoo in Colorado was clean and had pleasant staff. The animals appear to be adequately cared for. This is a small zoo and I suspect most families will easily complete the zoo and inevitable gift shop in under 3 hours. No giraffes or elephants as it is a small zoo. The red pandas seem to be the main attraction though the viewing habitat leave something to be desired for a main attraction. Overall, a pleasant zoo with a nice amount of shade and a few water fountains. Drinks and treats within the zoo or reasonably priced and less than several other zoos we have visited. However, the gift shop is where prices seemed overly exaggerated. This is usually the case, but it seemed to be a bit higher than normal at the Pueblo zoo. Families on a budget would likely want to steer clear of the gift shop.By J Walk (3 months ago)This is such a great zoo!! They have really unique animals and several feedings a day to experience. I really like the thoughtfulness that went into the layout and providing places to rest and observe these amazing creatures. The animals are happy and the staff are too. Great exhibits and a great experience. Very clean and we definitely enjoyed every bit of it!!By Meghan Turner (3 months ago)I’ve been coming here for about 24 years, never had a bad experience. But I wanted to shout out the people upfront in the gift shop and admission office. Diana and her associate (I didn’t catch her name. She had a long ponytail ) but they were both so extremely nice and they really made our visit; the best it’s ever been. They handled us with extreme respect and customer service. And treated us like a long time friend of the zoo. And again, I will be back next time. To my home zoo.By Riot Dani (6 months ago)We pulled up and weren’t even sure if they were open. No cars were really in the parking lot. Staff was really friendly when we got to the ticket window. Walking the zoo there were no other customers. All we really saw were staff employees. I will say, they do a really good job at making the animal enclosures natural and having live plants/grass in them. Some animals were already put away and or not on display. The Zoo did have animals I haven’t really ever seen in a zoo before, including moles! Zoo is rather small compared to other zoo’s I have visited. A bonus is, is the ground are really flat. No steep inclines, I would say definitely stroller and ADA compliant.By Rachel Silkwood (2 months ago)We love our Zoo! My daughter just turned 1, and she loves coming here all the time. Being a zoo member has made our trips affordable, I highly recommend supporting them and becoming a zoo member ❤️By Carolyn Morrison (6 months ago)

Beautiful park with big trees. Enjoy walking around. Lots of squirrels. Here are some spring pictures showing the beauty of the park. Great playground for the kids. The swimming pool is a nice one. Fun park for the whole family.By Melissa Martinez (7 months ago)We had a blast here my silly kids decided they didn’t care how cold the water was they were still gonna play in it. People were out fishing the whole scenery was picturesk except there was a lot of trash in some places along the river… That there is no excuses for there are trash cans with lids very nice rest room set ups … Get it together people.By kristina cuddeback (10 months ago)Would have been a five star but the bathrooms were disgusting. Lovely garden/flower beds though. There is lots of room to play ball or frisbee, etc. A nice pond with fountain..no feeding ducks allowed 🙁 lots of old buildings and walking distance from the mineral palace museum. Good playground w swings and picnic tables. Lots of nice old trees. Needs more informational plaques. I look forward to going again.By Diana Hansberry (a year ago)Food Truck Union on Fridays at Mineral Palace Park a great way to spend time trying different foods!By Adele Martinez (6 months ago)My absolute favourite park in Towne. Don’t get me wrong. Pueblo has many great parks. But I fell in love with this place a few years ago when I moved here from the springs. And it’s right across the way from the blackbox cafe. Great food. Review coming soon. But the park is my personal favourite, hopefully you can enjoy it as much as I have. Stay blessedBy Puke starr (2 months ago)

Especially for such a small town, this museum is absolutely excellent. Tiny price of entry and extremely rich history on display.
They have all kinds of incredible displays, from uniforms donated by remarkable individuals themselves to massive aircraft with great historical and technical value.
The staff themselves are excellent people as well, all with their own great personal stories too. Ask for details about anything and you will not be disappointed!
By Alexander Clarke (8 months ago)Fantastic spot to not only view some aircraft, but also explore inside of a few, more then just aircraft though! They have half-tracks, artillery, large munitions and a pretty large space museum. 10/10 I’d definitely recommend.By Brandon Benolken (2 months ago)Great hidden gem! Lots of excellent options with several you can board!…no slouch of a museum (even though you wouldn’t expect much from the outside). Look for a BOGO coupon! The docents are wonderful, passionate about the museum offerings, and have been there for years!By Jen Rhodes (a month ago)Went for my grandson’s birthday wish to visit…it was very interesting and informative.. everyone were so friendly too!! We stayed around 2 hours or more it was fun…so many things to learn about and we’re explained to us…I’d recommend this wonderful place to anyone and everyone!!!By Rosie Salinas (5 months ago)Definitely a 2-3 hr stay. I had a guide, Vern, he was retired Navy, he was great. Plenty of knowledge. It was nice to actually get to walk through some of the planes. The place was somewhat organized. Needs more cards about what your looking at and why it’s important.By Shane Barnett (3 months ago)

Beautiful park, be prepared to pay $10 for the day to drive through. Beautiful scenery, peaceful atmosphere, wonderful lake and dam. We truly enjoyed driving through and making a few stops along the way for pictures.
We were driving through and stopped to stretch our legs. Beautiful place. Lots of people fishing. Easy trails for the kids.
Very clean shower house and bathrooms. The sites are not stacked on top of each other. We had an electric only site. The water pressure not so great
at the main fresh water fill up in the Yucca Flats. But that’s OK. I’m not complaining this place was beautiful. Dog friendly.
I liked it. The amenities are great, there was powered where we were which came in handy for the blow up mattresses! There is very little natural shade however, which only pushes you into the refreshing water.
Speaking of though, the natural shale layers of earth chip off in an arrowhead like shard and become very sharp and you should be very careful with dogs and bare feet!
A great place to explore. Incredible shore lines of prehistoric volcanic activity. We kayak but also can take a big boat.
