  1. Great big spacious park with plenty of room and also ducks and geese to feed. If you want your kids to get out and interact with many different kids then this is definitely the park for you.

  2. Hidden gem in Spartanburg. Lots of walking trails, several covered picnic areas available for rental, a super nice playground area, and seating and swings around the pond make for an excellent day out or picnic. 🙂 Also, lots of wildlife… geese, ducks, and turtles to watch while you enjoy sitting by the water.

  3. Me and my kids love this park! Had my daughter’s birthday here and the only thing she was disappointed about was that she couldn’t go swimming with the ducks. We come here often and they play. I go by myself too to walk around the pound. It’s Beautiful place to get some exercise

  4. Cleveland Park is a beautiful city park where kids can play or families can walk or you catch a run. There are places to picnic, swing on the lake or just hang out. Local police have a small station there and a covered Pavillion makes for a shaded picnic area. Sorry I didn’t get playground pics but it is huge with climbing walls, toddler area and swings.

  5. Just visited this place the other day we love it! A lot of stuff to explore. Nice place to unwind.
I should have bring bread for the geese ?. Oh well next time 🙂

Great staff! Animals were super cute and look heathy! Place is kept clean no trash on sight. Had a great time. Make sure to buy lots of food bc the animals do love to eat it.

This was great fun and a good way to introduce city kids to animals. We drove through twice while an assortment of deer, emu, donkeys, geese and more ate out of our hands. This family owned business deserves support. Thank you for creating and maintaining the park for the animals and families like ours. We will be bringing all our visitors here.

We went to the zoo for the drive in Christmas lights and feeding zoo experience. The lights were good and our daughter loved feeding the animals. The only thing is during the feeding section there’s no order so the vehicles were going in every direction.

Our family had an awesome time at Hollywild Animal Park this weekend. We did the “Cuddle with Cubs” animal encounter and it was AMAZING! The cubs were adorable! We thoroughly enjoyed interacting and feeding them. You may get some slobber on you but it is definitely worth the it to spend time with these fluffy little guys. Hailey was helpful, friendly and professional from scheduling the appointment as well as answering all our questions about the cubs during the encounter. We also had a great time doing the Safari drive through the park, getting up close, feeding and interacting with the animals. If you are in the area and enjoy animals we highly recommend that you take advantage of this great opportunity to spend time with these cubs or at least drive through and feed the animals.

3/16/2022. I’ll start with the negative, which possibly should reduce this review to 4 STARS: the trail signs are terrible. They are so bad that they will deter hikers who have experienced just how poorly marked the trails are from hiking in Croft as much as they might wish to. With map in hand, and referring to the map dozens of times, a year ago my wife and I went on a 1.5 mile hike (well defined on the paper map). By the time we returned we’d liked well over 4 miles. No big deal, but irritating consider the careful effort we made to follow the trail. Additionally, Croft has been very busy with woodlands maintenance, evidence of forestry mulching is extensive, mulching deadwood to reduce risk of out-of-control forest fires. This is all good with the exception that their work has obliterated sections of many trails. Without functional signs it is now harder to determine where the trails are. Croft State Park: greatly increase and improve the trails signs!!!
We stayed in the park 3 days recently in our RV and really enjoyed the freshness of the well maintained campground. It was clean, employees were very helpful, accommodating, and friendly. The restrooms/bathhouses were tidy, clean, well stocked and warm.
Extensive improvements to walkways near and around the lake, retaining walls, and newly installed benches and swings were everywhere.
The asphalt roads are in poor condition, but consider all the good features, as well as the great price for staying overnight, it balances out to FIVE STARS.
Fix the stupid trail sign system!

Great place for hiking, camping, fishing, etc. This is a beautiful place to get your workout in. Need your steps? This is your place, just wear sunglasses, sunblock, a hat, insect spray and hiking boots recommended…. do not wear your nice shoes, tennis shoes or your best shoes or they will get ruined. Bring your water bottle, you will need it. The restrooms by the main office are very nice, air conditioning and have showers. Dogs are allowed on leash only.

Pretty clean bathhouses, could use a bit of updating but they really aren’t bad. The lake was down and a bridge was out which limited our adventures…. and the dust from the dirt road areas who have been would have not been fun! All in All, we did have a great time and the park staff and rangers were very helpful and amazing

This is a nice park with lakes, trails, and picnic areas, and it has historical ties ranging from the Revolutionary War to WWII as there was a rev-war skirmish on the grounds and in the 1940s it was a basic training camp for WWII soldiers. Oddly enough, the only evidences I saw of this were the signs warning hikers to stay out of areas where the ordnance remediation has not been completed. It would have been cool to see more of the history such as old structures from the camp, etc.

What a hidden gem! Maybe it’s not hidden? But why did it take me so long to finally visit this beautiful place?! The lake is so peaceful and the nature trail was the perfect hike for someone who doesn’t want just a flat easy trail but also isn’t trying to climb up the side of a mountain. It’s a little narrow in parts but none of it was difficult. Also, the nature trail is a 1.5 mile loop that runs along a creek and is just one of the hiking trails there, they also have shorter trails and longer ones (some for horseback riding too). They also have kayaks and paddle boards available for rent at Lake Craig. We can’t wait to return.

We took the factory tour which was very interesting. There is some walking involved but you stop often for detailed explanations by the guide so you’re not walking continuously if that’s a concern.
The atrium at the entrance is very nice with a bunch of cars on display. There’s also a gift shop for your BMW swag.
Overall excellent experience, I highly recommend.

Definitely take the tour! The factory is incredible and the machinery they use is awesome to watch. Keep in mind they’re fairly strict with policies and procedures during the tour. It’s fun, but they do have to keep things moderated.

Absolutely top notch experience, but could you really expect any less from BMW? Everything about the tour was well worth it. I can’t wait to order and get my vehicle delivered right off the assembly line.

The museum itself is small but the cars in it are in incredible condition. The best part is the factory tour that starts from the museum. I did the 1-hout tour and it was really incredible. Definitely worth the entry! You usually need to get tickets for the tours ahead of time though!

Fun to visit if you love BMWs. I wish they had more cars and other BMW items and more information on the history of the company. You can see the whole thing in 30 minutes or less. It is free though, so that’s nice.

This is a beautiful and well maintained garden. It has tons of shaded pathways and picnic areas. Perfect place to walk in the summer. It is super clean with no trash spotted anywhere in the garden. It has a great variety of shrubs, trees, flowers, birds, and other wildlife. It is a joy to wander through its many paths to find the little areas to stop and appreciate the grounds around you.

This place was so beautiful and peaceful! We saw lots of beautiful plants, flowers of all colors, plus turtles, coy fish, spiders, dragonflies, bees, and various other cool bugs. Lots of beautiful waterscapes. Easy trails for all ages and abilities. A beautiful bridge with a waterfall that has a rainbow if you catch the sunlight in the right place. Benches available for resting and enjoying nature.

I have lived in Spartanburg County for 6 years, and have never been to this beautiful place. Amazing, breathtaking, wowing, gorgeous, and bountiful is just a few words to sum up how awesome of a time that I and my husband had today. Nature walking, picture taking, enjoyment of nature and its beauty was all of that and then some today. I’m not one for the nature, or outdoor experiences, but I must say this is something that I will do again. It truly was a sight to see. I’ve added some photos of our fun packed experience.

Was a great nature walk. Nice paths to walk on. Got to see plants, trees, waterfalls, birds, bees and butterflies. The sun was shining and it was a gorgeous day.

Been here before several times but I just recently moved back to the area after being gone for almost 6 years. Went back today after being gone for so long and the people that run the Gardens have really done a fabulous job at cleaning up the park and adding new additions to the Gardens. Had a wonderful walk and got to see some turtles, small fish, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. I would recommend this place if you want to get out of the house for a bit and smell the flowers.
