First time here and stayed in a full hook-up site in the dog friendly loop in our 19 ft RV travel trailer. The sites are nice and spread out, the most of any other campgrounds we stayed at so far (we’ve been RV camping for 5 years). Sites are huge and gravelled (small gravel around picnic table and fire pit and larger gravel in parking area). Can’t comment about the restrooms/showers as we didn’t use those with having an RV. No cell signal.
Lots of hiking trails which is what we look for and like for our dog when looking for campgrounds. The Falls Trail is very well marked, others not so much. The drought kept the waterfalls to minimum but it’s still a beautiful hike. Trails can be narrow at places so wear good hiking shoes/boots. We started at Rt 118 and did the whole 7.2 mile loop with 21 waterfalls. You can make this loop shorter by starting from the campground and only miss 3 waterfalls. Two “milder” hiking trails are the Bear Walk trail and the Highland Trail that you can start right from the campgrounds.
Super size and pretty beach area (no dogs allowed) and Lake Jean is beautiful!. This was one of our favorite State Parks we stayed at so far this year.

The waterfalls trail was Amazing but as the trail maps state it is difficult. I saw many people really struggling with the ascent and some that looked to almost need medical attention.But other than that the park has so much to offer. Summertime it has a beach area and a huge lake to enjoy as well. The facilities there were nice too. Bathrooms were heated when it was cooler out and has plenty of parking.
One of the most impressive things about the park was how well kept and clean it was! I would highly recommend going and not being afraid to take the kids and dog!

By Anthony O (a month ago)The waterfall trail was an amazing hike, you need to kind of reconcile the paper map with waterfalls listed on it with the big display maps to find your way, or at least I did. It was a 3 hour hike for me with lots of stops to enjoy the different falls. Beaches were closed and the fog added an interesting element to the hike. A must do for hikers and waterfall fans.By Trypp Adams (6 months ago)If you love waterfalls this is the park for you we came thinking there were only a couple at best but there are so many more. We arrived kind of late in the day so only got to see five or six of them, definitely heading back next spring to see the rest. Also as you can see by my nature shots I find mushrooms fascinating so if you enjoy them also this is the park for you. Also if you have difficulty walking this trail is not easy by any means and can be slippery as it runs right next to the falls also a walking stick is recommended some people even leave a good stick by the parking lots to share with people. Have been to the park once before in the fall and absolutely loved it and wanted to see this park with the waterfalls frozen. Both times did not disappoint! If you go in the winter you must be experienced with all of the right equipment or go with an outfitter. Awesome place to see the Penguins minor league team play which I take my kids to a few times a year. Seen a couple big concerts there. But really, this is a solid arena for a show. Great sightlines from just about everywhere, good sound. The upper vending has a great selection of food and drink and restroom lines weren’t long at all. Security was helpful and polite. I would return, especially for Billy Strings.
By Dillon Browne (a year ago)There was a healthy mix of good and bad here (part of the bad being the horrendous product the penguins are putting on the ice) so I just want to touch on a few things.I didn’t eat, but there was a Chickie and Pete’s which is typically good. If they had cheesesteaks I probably would have gotten one, but I wasn’t really in the mood for the crab fries. The seats were excellent. For under $100 I had 3 seats where I could practically breathe on the back of the coaches necks from the opposing team. The parking was free and we parked fairly close to the front. Process to go through security and to get the tickets read with the machines was easy and painless. The food and drink prices all seemed fairly reasonable for an arena.
So just one thing that kept this from 5 star. There was a drink that sounded fun and different…and it was bad. Maybe the other flavors were good, this was not. They had “Boozy snow cones” which I was pumped about. I got the spiked cherry cola. Unfortunately the cherry flavoring made it taste very medicinal, like Robitussin. It was a $9 drink which honestly even by bar standards isn’t “that” bad, but it was upsetting to get this drink.
All in all though, solid place to catch a game.

Additionally, handbag policy was not apparent in booking or in lot which meant my epipen had to be left in the car. Medical tagging was available but would have required another trip through the rain back to the lot. Then, purchased a water IN the arena. Caps must now be removed. So now I have to keep track of the only item I had on me that I could turn into a makeshift bag for my necessities (other than the epipen) that was small enough to fit their policy while not spilling my water on the people in front of us, all so we can LISTEN to music and have the mini earthquake caused by their speakers blast at me. Yay. Staff was generally kind, but that was the only positive.Been to arena in years past (pre-covid era), and it was great. Not so much this experience.

I was in the Forty Foot area and had a couple hours to spare so I decided to visit the preserve. This is a great place for hiking and just enjoying nature. At the beginning of the trail, you can see the waterfall which is amazing. If going hiking, make sure to have the proper footwear because the yellow trail is not a smooth path. Definitely worth a visit.By Shanimarie (3 months ago)Seven Tubs is a beautiful area that I wished I allowed more time to explore. They noted a 1.8 mile easy trail that we attempted in the late afternoon in June. It was stunning and had peaceful trails once you got away from the local swimming hole by the parking lot. We didn’t finish the trail, and would like to go back to try again. A few things to note:
1. Wear hiking shoes. There are steep sections in this hike that is difficult even in sneakers.
2. There is one section of the trail with a very steep metal grate steps to go down, and it is very scary looking since you can see through the steps. Children, elderly or those with mobility issues should not attempt this.
3. There are wooden bridges that have rather large gaps between the boards where your foot could easily go through. Be careful. (See picture)
4. Parts of the trail literally goes over smooth rock, which has water dripping over it in wet seasons, so it can be very slippery. Bring hiking poles. (See picture of husband helping son over slippery section.)
5. While people swim there, I don’t think I would recommend it due to the slippery nature of the rocks.

I’m sure this place gets busy in the summer but we only saw a couple other people on our hike. Beautiful waterfalls and pools. We saw some cool mushrooms!Please pick up your litter! How people can disrespect nature is beyond me.

Beautiful and very clean park! Lots of softball and football fields and tennis courts! Unfortunately I came to “hike” the trails in the park and left pretty disappointed. Ended up following the loop that winds through the different fields and up over the park. Many of trails listed were completely overgrown or nonexistent. While their weren’t any real trails, the park itself was well maintained, had plenty of parking, and portable bathrooms everywhere.By Aimee (a year ago)Great Park with tons of space!! I’ve been here for a work thing in the ballroom great food. Ate way too much bacon. Also went to party on the patio. Was a ton of fun wish they had a bigger selection of drinks. They only offered black cherry white claw.
Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs is amazing! If you visit for the day, there are many slots and table games to keep you happy and entertained. Definitely get a momentum card so you can get credits to use for future visits. Becoming a member also gives you the opportunity to get a free or discounted room in the hotel. The hotel is Beautiful, the rooms are awesome. The decor alone makes you feel like a million bucks. The customer service is always on point and they really are there to help in any way they can. I have never had a bad experience with the casino or hotel. I highly recommend checking it out. The restaurants are also soooo delicious! It’s truly top quality.
It was pretty calm, not crazy busy and I enjoyed my night with my Boyfriend playing Slots. The only main complaint I have is the Machines probably should be wiped down more often. There was Ashes on the Buttons, Drinks Spilled making the buttons sticky, and the chairs were sticky. Other than that everything else was good and the staff I dealt with were Courteous, Smiled, and helpful.
Rooms are nice size and very clean. The problem is nothing is really open here. Why is the pool still closed and the coffee shop by check in still not open? Beautiful October weekend and the outdoor Embers Terrace was already closed for the Season. Sunday football, stopped in at the Hive and they have no football specials going on. Sports betting venue is so small. Casino is nice with a good variety of games. but this place is missing something. Also – they only comp your rooms based on what you spend gambling, where is Atlantic City, rooms, food purchases are included in your profile…
Parking was easy. Casino was very clean. Great variety of machines. Cocktail waitresses we’re plentiful. Only downfall was some people were smoking in the non smoking areas. I will definitely be back.
