I absolutely love this area. They have definitely upgraded since I was a kid. We went as a large family during the fall. The skating rink is super nice. They have so many different areas of games for the kids and family to enjoy. They have a pop up shop and a food court. Security at entry for pat down for safety. Parking is great on the street or the parking garage right across. Great family atmosphere and safe!By Cirea Strode (in the last week)Love campus Martius so much! Love to see how far it has come over the years…. such a unique and cool spot to hang out with family, friends, or even by your self. Places to eat, have drinks, tons of seating and just a really cool atmosphere all around. Highly recommend you taking a moment to check out the place and it’s surroundings! Pics do it no justice but here is just a few.By Tony Apperson (5 months ago)Enjoyed the Night out with new faces, New Culture, New Fashions and very good feel environment on the Christmas Evening. Best place to visit with family and children’s and we can spend simply watching the programs, games in the Centre of place. We have different activity. We can good hot coffee if went on chill days. Interested people can dance and enjoy the day.By Poovalagan Jagadeeswaran (10 months ago)This place is in the heart of downtown Detroit where I saw many people and families gathering at this beautiful park and having fun. The lightning and setting around this park is so beautiful which gives great feelings while walking around. Moreover, I loved the ice skating at this park adding beauty to the amazing view of high rise buildings.By Salim Khoso (6 months ago)Went the day after Thanksgiving for the winter decorations and festivities and it was beautiful! Very well done. Plenty of lights and decorations in the area and the ice skating rink was surprisingly well maintained. You can rent skates there or bring your own. The shops across the street are adorable and there are a ton of local vendors. The huge tree from MI was amazing and beautifully decorated. Definitely a Christmas must do!By val britt (a year ago)

This place is beautiful! The staff is so wonderful and friendly and helpful. You can buy tickets once you get there but if you buy them in advance, it goes faster. Elevators and stairs, bathrooms on every floor. 3 floors total. Price of tickets aren’t bad either. Went to the Van Gogh exhibit, but will definitely be back to see the rest.By Jessica Bock (a month ago)The Detroit Institute of Arts was an absolutely amazing experience! The exhibits, architecture, and artwork are top notch and this is one of my favorite museums I have ever visited! We spent all day here and I feel like we still didn’t even scratch the surface. If I could change anything I would have planned to come right at opening so we could experience this for the entirety of opening! You will be amazed at the beauty of this museum, I highly recommend it!By Jeremy Janus (6 months ago)There is just so much to see. I could spend days just staring at the artwork. Mind you I am partial to art. We went and they had a car exhibit and they were so unique. Also seeing a real life van Gogh painting was really cool. I’d definitely go again. They also had art from Mexico, middle east, native Americans, Japan and Korea. I love international art so it was fun to look at everything. Also seeing a real life mummy was really cool but creepy to think there’s a skeleton in there.By Johanna Ghofulpo (6 months ago)Large museum with lots to see. The exhibits don’t flow very well, so take a map to be able to follow your path if you want to make sure you see everything. Very cool cafe inside, museum architecture itself is interesting. Weekend day was not too crowded in the afternoon which was nice. $14 for adult, $8 if you’re a student, reasonable prices.By Abigail Cash (10 months ago)I highly recommend the DIA for your wedding or event. I just recently worked with Luis who is in charge of their events at a recent wedding. It was an immaculate day. He was so attentive, on it, and knew exactly how to serve our client well. He was very communicative with vendors prior explaining things like the building lay out and parking for the event to ensure it would go seamlessly. I cannot say enough great things.By Faith Rowley Photos (9 months ago)

Beautiful place to go with great views and great walking paths. Different monuments and statues to look at when you first get into Hart Plaza. They have an amphitheater here they have events sometimes at. Everything was closed down still for the season I think it said things start opening May 2nd.By Gilbert Grape (7 months ago)What a place to visit during ford fireworks ? I waited for an entire year as I missed it last year and it was worth the wait. In usual days itself it’s a cool place for hangout. But on a firework day, it’s amazing. Crowded with food stalls. High security and amazing fireworks.By Nithya Thomas (5 months ago)Incredible plaza. The monuments and event areas are truly sights to be seen. I could only imagine speaking at this amphitheater with Canada across the river and all of Detroit behind me. The community here is strong, proud, and welcoming.By John Moody (9 months ago)As long as you get to the festivals early (when they open) they seem to be ok. The African World Festival seemed to miss vendors from previous years that I looked forward to patronizing. I think that has something to do with the increased costs. Pros: more room, spaced out better, not as much congestion, great lemonade & cucumber drink and some friendly/welcoming vendors. Cons: new entrance fee, costly parking, not very conducive to people with disabilities, quality of merchandise has dwindled from vendors, pricing not very competitive, a lot of repetition of items sold and food was outrageously price ($25 per plate; small plates at that!). The most frustrating was the cost of food….ridiculous.By Patrice PT (4 months ago)Hart plaza is right along the river, you can enjoy the river walk and some statues and sculptures in this park. This is also a monument to show “the gateway to freedom”.
You can even see the Windsor city side of Canada here.

Pretty cool river walk, the water was clear and blueish, the park well maintained for the most part. There were quite a few people jogging, there’s a carousel, a cafe, plenty of seating along the walk… It was also pretty cool that you can see Canada right across the river.
We visited 1st week of June. When we got there around 4pm it was very warm, within less than an hour the temperature dropped drastically. As soon as we left the area, it was very warm again.
Definitely a must when visiting Detroit.By Jan Me (5 months ago)Love the river walk and how far it has come over the years. Three is so much to see its really nice place to take a walk and depending on the day there is all types of stuff to do. They have snack and drink machines and sometimes serve food and drinks. Love my city and am excited to continue to watch it grow!By Tony Apperson (2 months ago)The Detroit Riverwalk is a MUST once in Michigan. The walk is amazing during the Summer. Many activities and people walking. Very enjoyable and relaxing. You can walk all the way to the General Motors Building and its amazing. The View to Canada is breath-taking. I totally recommend coming and seeing it for yourself.By Karim Abraham (4 months ago)August 2022 – what a great place to take a walk. Near a play set for the kids. A public bathroom and I believe a place that sells food. Worth going and we came here on a Sunday. Go early so you can get a free parking spot. Wonderful place and worth visiting if you are in the area.By Brian D (3 months ago)Beautiful place to walk. Doors on the bathroom stalls are kinda iffy..i had one that didn’t lock. Gives you a beautiful view of the city of Detroit as well as a beautiful view of Canada across the river. People don’t Detroit enough credit for how beautiful the city is because of the all violence that takes place outside the city. Also it’s very damn easy to almost end up on the bridge to Canada so you have to really be paying attention. There is a carousel on the river walk perfect for your little ones. Parking is not bad at all and is free so that’s a plus! Usually security is there if that helps make you feel a bit more safe. It’s very beautiful to walk.By Kay Wes (9 months ago)

Detroit MI is a world-famous tourist destination, and it’s no wonder why. Here is our list of the top 15 best place to visit in Detroit MI – based on expert opinions and customer reviews. Did your favorite spot make the cut? Let us know in the comments above!
I have no complaints. I do, however, have a confession ?♀️. I’m not a huge baseball fan. ? This was my first major league baseball game. We were invited by friends so we weren’t going to turn the opportunity down. I felt like the stadium was very nice, clean and a lot of food and drink options. Obviously not without draining your pockets, but that is expected at any sports venue.
Great stadium for a ball game! We sat in the 3rd row behind the opponent’s bullpen during our most recent visit. We’ve sat in many locations at Comerica and this was one of my most favorite. I would love closer if there is an option. I would not sit in the upper deck if I could avoid it!
Not impressed with the Kiosk system. People INSIDE were Great- people At Ticket windows, rude as can be, AS IF they’re Doing You a favor getting paid to sell or accept tickets. Poor setting for concert- concrete baseball bleachers. Prices are Disgusting- 8.95 for a Hot Dog on rollers. 8$ for a 16oz water. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING AREA. Not enough restrooms, vendors, nada. We went. We enjoyed the show- from damn near the furthest row away from the stage. No Regular beer, All Craft or Light. We agreed, we don’t care to go back. It was an experience we’d never had, and, neither care to go a second time. Not even for a ball game.
Absolutely wonderful stadium!! We came here for the first time this past weekend to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert and it was absolutely wonderful! VERY clean, very good security, comfortable seating, very easy to find sections for seating too. Super friendly staff at all the food stands and nice fresh tasty food. By far one of the best stadiums I’ve been to! The concert was well put together and went wonderfully. The security check before entering was smooth and very fast and friendly. Even very easy to find parking areas all over by the stadium as well! All in all a really great experience. Highly recommend attending a concert or ball game here!
Enjoyed the game last night. Tigers were able to pull out a win and beat Kansas City. I was invited by a friend who had suite tickets which made the event even more memorable. The attendee was attentive and the ensuite food was tasty. Unlimited drinks and snacks.
Comerica Park rather in a suite or standard seats is an amazing venue. Always well maintained, great areas for pictures as well. All seats are pretty good and not too tight. The food court is nice as well. Plenty of options. The Official Tiger at the main entrance is always a huge hit with fans and visitors.
