Really nice beach ! There’s a lot of places. I went in winter (early march) so of course not a lot of people around but the sand with a bit of snow on it was beautiful. The water was really cold and it was a bit windy but the sun and the people we met were great and heart warming.
A really nice beach.
By Francis Boisseron (8 months ago)If you have kids then I recommend staying away from the middle, as in behind the stage and playground. Those spots get ridiculously crowded and usually is where all the teens and collage kids go. Go to the beginning of the strip BEFORE the playground or go down the end of the strip PAST the Northern parts bathrooms after the info center and after the parking lots switch to your left and are IN between the northbound and southbound 1 way roads (across from the Ashworth hotel) that is.the best place for families by far in my opinion. Lots of lifeguards there as well.FRIED DOUGH FROM BLINKS FRIED DOUGH IS INCREDIBLE. Best on the beach…so is their lemonade! Sugary but great!By Daniel Crowley (4 months ago)Pros:
-Beach is very clean and spacious, we were there the July 4th week and there was plenty of room on the sand.
-Family friendly with lots of little gift shops, a huge indoor arcade, and an outdoor playground.
-Awesome Fireworks show every Wednesday night in the Summer.Cons:
-Water is freezing cold, even in July. It’s very windy so use caution if you have a beach umbrella.
-Restrooms are few and far between, be ready for a long walk if you’re on the beach.
-Car Parking is very competitive, get there before 9am if you want to park in the lot near the sand.By Deb Paris (4 months ago)Great beach! The water was chilly but the sand was the perfect temperature. Many places for food and shopping along the beachfront. It even has a small casino!By Darrell Givens (5 months ago)The place in New England.. the beach is amazing… many beach stores on the board walk and also at cheap price for souvenirs… Many activities like sand castle on the beach. Many beach restaurants also on the board walk at good price. A Family or not beach, it’s for everyone without any problem! I will always comeback to Hampton Beach, New Hampshire!By Jean Vallee (5 months ago)

We were there for 5 fun filled days and did something different every day!!!! Had fun relaxing on the beach, took an awesome train ride, killed zombies and lots more fun at the arcade, found unique merchandise at the gift shops, rented a pontoon boat and played cards…lawn darts….and beanbag toss. Looking forward to next year!By Sonja Stefan (a year ago)Visit this place every year for Laconia Bike Week. Love the time I spend here and the great people we share it with.By Kenneth M Martin Jr (5 months ago)Beautiful views of lake and mountains. Clean water. Clean sand. Safe location. Wonderful for families, all day beach day and surrounding area has attractions and food. Parking is $1.00 per hour and spots are generally available. Pay ahead at kiosk at note your parking space number before you walk to parking pay station. No need to post your ticket back in the car.By Laura Hopkinson (a year ago)Beautiful little beach with a great view of the mountains in the distance.
My sister and I had a great time here; The beach wasn’t too packed and the water was wonderful.
The boardwalk offered plenty of fun shops, arcades and restaurants within walking distance.By Yael Manzano (3 months ago)

Wellington State park has one of the most stunning views due to its clean lake. We group of friends spent hours in the lake and went for hiking to the nearby mountains where we experienced the most scenic points around the water. The pictures attached show the real beauty of this place. Highly recommendedBy Salim Khoso (6 months ago)It’s a perfect family outdoors, grilling, lake, canoeing, safe.
We have gone in the past before pandemic time with our church to do baptism, family Outtings, and NEVER HAVE BEEN DISAPPOINTED. You can make the reservation online. Love it overall. If you are.looking for a summer place to spend the day this is your place. I highly recommend it.Just one little detail, for the park…PLEASE GIVE REAL GARBAGE BAGS, NOT THOSE STORE BAGS. AND FOR YOU WHO MIGHT WANT TO GO THERE BRING YOUR OWN GARBAGE BAGS UNTIL THE PARK REALIZED ABOUT THE BAGS.
By Johanna Cardona (4 months ago)Great place to hang out in this secluded area. We grilled sausage and veges on grill. It was quiet and peaceful, the water was calm. Porta potties available since it’s off season. Loved the easy nature trail, about an hour both ways, right along the bank.By Ranay T (2 months ago)My daughter got married here. Disappointed there was no plug-in for the wedding song we wanted to play for the price we paid. The employees were very helpful and helped us bring things to the provellion area since it’s a little walk from where you have to park your car to the beach area. Other then that it was beautiful and even wheel chair friendly.By Michelle Lemay (3 months ago)Been coming here since I was a little kid! Such a beautiful spot and the cost to enter is very very reasonable. My one complaint is that Massachusetts license plates are getting in for the same price as NH residence. When I go to any Mass state park I am paying $40+ to enter because I am a NH resident. This has made the park rather crowded over the years on the weekends. Besides that, the beach is clean, water clean, picnic table sites with grill pits. They also have boat rentals and a little snack shack with beach basics.By Liana (3 months ago)

Great place for watching the sunrise. You get an absolutely perfect front row view. I recommend coming about an hour before the official sunrise so you can catch the whole process in action. It’s absolutely gorgeous and well worth getting up early to get there!By Katie Evers (10 months ago)Nice beach at low tide. We went at the end of October so there were few people. Love the views of the houses, the coast, and the Isle of Shoals.By James Beacham (a year ago)I’ve visited since I was a kid. Parking ?️ is limited and you have to pay at the meter. You can pay with coins, except pennies, cash and card. Go early.
High tide was in but people were setting up, going in the water ?, surfing and having a good time. I relaxed ? and enjoyed my ? newspaper.
A clean up crew was keeping the beach ⛱️ tidy. Thanks ?!
I only saw ? ducks and crows, no seagulls. Bring bug ? repellent. Small gnat like flying insects were swarming around the seaweed.
Restroom ? available. I recommend a visit.
Update; Sunday morning ?, June 2021; Make sure you display your parking ?️ slip upwards and remove all expired slips from your dashboard or you could get a ticket. Someone was actually purchasing a new receipt ? and they got a ticket.
I saw a seagull at this beach ⛱️, finally.By Stephen Priest (8 months ago)Been going here for 30 years. Nice beach and public restrooms. Also have lifeguards on duty.By Geddy (4 months ago)Perfect view and peaceful, different locations varies but all is well maintainedBy Lee Dz (5 months ago)

A great beach in the summer!
Activities, concerts, great seafood, bustling boardwalk!
I particularly enjoy the off season…. The horses are able to walk along the ocean
You can also walk your dog on the beach.
The tides are also higher this time of year.
Love being able to spend time at Hampton Beach…any time of the year!
Very nice beach…great wave action and on particularly good days is popular with surfers! Almost like two beaches actually– sandy and great for swimming to the south, and rocky and made for exploring to the north. Sidenote: very, very popular for walking dogs…I like dogs as much as the next person though like happens so many place they get a bad rep b/c of inconsiderate owners who don’t pick-up after them.
I’ve been here so many times I’ve lost count. Great beach for family, if you want sun, swim, play, or exploring the rocks. The boardwalk has everything you could ask for, all the “family beach food” and clubs, stores, and arcades. Parking can be difficult on sunny days so come early or expect to drive around a couple times. This trip was for the yearly sandcastle contest, highly recommend if you’ve never seen it
This is one of my favorite beaches. Been here like 5 times. The plus also about this beach is the boardwalk with many things to do. For kids and adults. One things I could see that has change is the parking lot charge. It is no longer a one time fee for the entire stay at the beach. I went a weekend ago and have to pay twice $12 dollars. Also food value super super expensive. Paid $71 dollars for 3 people. Chicken tenders w fries, BLT wrap, and breaded shrimp with fries. The flavors were not that appetizing either. But the suggestion is to bring your own food and enjoy the beautiful beach. Love also that is a light clean sand. Water of course warmer than the Maine beaches. I will go one more time before the warm weather is gone. Great to pick some shells.
Arrived late afternoon, on a Tuesday. Easy parking, not too much of a crowd. Bathrooms were clean. Kids had a blast wading into the water and playing in the sand. We had not intended to stop, so luckily there were expensive souvenirs shops across the street to grab clean T-shirt’s ?
