It was a great visit! We had a lot of fun during the 3 hours we spent on our visit to the museum and we saw a lot of great sculptures and paintings. Definitely recommended to buy the tickets in advance so you have to wait less time at the entrance queue and bring some food of your own so when you finish your visit you can have something to eat (if you don’t want to spend any money in the cafeteria).By Sergio Martínez (in the last week)Our family of seven (ages 8 to 69) planned in advance and bought tickets to the “My First Louvre” private tour led by museum staff, directly from the Louvre website. The 90-minute tours are Saturdays and Sundays at 11 o’clock. It’s just a brief overview to get you started. I was most impressed by the below ground viewing of elements of the castle remains on which the Louvre was built. Tour included a history of the museum before we set off. Make sure you allow plenty of time to find the starting place of the tour within the museum. It took us awhile to find where to enter the museum, and then to find our way to the location to pick up our headsets and the room to wait. So allow at least 30 minutes. Trust me! A stop to view the Mona Lisa is included, but there is a Disneyland-type queue to get close enough to snap a photo. We enjoyed our brief taste of the museum very much. We also enjoyed that there were places in the pyramid section to purchase beverages and baguette sandwiches.By Sue Martindale (3 months ago)Amazing place! And also an amazing palace! The most famous tourist place in the world has various surprises for visitors. You’ll be impressed by the view from the balcony of Cafe. Don’t even try to see all of the expositions for one day. Be ready to fight against crowds near the Mona Lisa. Try to find your own secret of that place. Go for it!By Eugène Fedorov (in the last week)You probably need five weeks to cover the immense Materials in here. It’s incredible collection. I highly recommend at least one full day and to get the audio guide. Start with the masterpiece trial to get a good introduction. Left the museum by buying a guidebook that I’m still perusing at this point. Total mind blowing experience.By Z Lee (3 months ago)What can you say… It’s the Louvre. Fantastic but very large museum. Do some homework before you arrive to get the most out of the visit. The staff is very helpful and we were able to get through a see most of what we wanted to see. We tried a later in the afternoon time to beat the crowds, but the Mona Lisa had a large line to get in front of it. I think being there on the opening hour may be the best or definitely during a slower tourist season.By Steve Chitsey (4 months ago)

My most favorite view of Paris and definitely a highlight of the city!
I have visited many times in the past, but it never ceases to amaze me how grandiose this building is. During my last visit, I waited around 10 minutes to purchase the ticket and another 5 minutes to go through security – all reasonable times, however next time I would buy tickets online.
Once I walked up the twisting stairs (there is no elevator for the general public) I entered a lobby where toilets are located, and continued to the roof. I spent about half an hour at the roof deck, walking around and enjoying the view of the city. It was not really busy, people were just chilling, relaxing, and taking pictures. It was really lovely to watch the buzz down there by the roundabout and traffic at Champs-Elysees. As the sun was setting it created fabulous photo opportunities over the La Defense neighborhood. On the way down I passed by a quite large gift shop and watched a couple of videos in the lobby right under the roof deck.
I saved some time to walk around the Arc and enjoy the beauty of it. Definitely a place to return to when in Paris! Visited in May 2022.
By Pavel D. (6 months ago)I didn’t get a chance to get inside but definitely enjoyed walking around it and admiring this architectural art. You can surely take enough photos with it although many people are visiting there every day every hour. Be careful not to pass the road by walking, that’s dangerous and wrong. There are different underground passes that will do the work. One of the must visit places in Paris, and looks like it is better to visit it by climbing it up and also getting an astonishing view of Paris.By Tim B (3 months ago)Really cool experience, you can really spend a bit of time here reading all of the displays and material they have. The views from the top were breathtaking and it is a don’t miss spot. It was well worth the extra ticket, it was only a few bucks more and it let us skip a line which was helpful since we were trying to zoom all around Paris in one day.By John Slipe (9 months ago)Beautiful monument to soldiers and a must see in Paris. Crazy roundabout that surrounds it so be careful, if crossing. Didn’t get a chance to go up to the top but it was amazing to see from the ground. We had fun trying to figure out the traffic pattern too.By Robert Clarke (8 months ago)Beautiful landmark in the city of Paris! I always enjoy coming here to admire the arc and all of the beautiful cafes that sit around it!The entrance to get to the top is roughly 13 euro, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to get in because the line was over an hour wait and it was freezing outside!
Here you will also find the memorial for the unknown soldier.
It is located just 25 minutes away from the Eiffel Tower and you can definitely knockout both sites back to back!

Majestic gardens in Central Paris, full of people enjoying the beautiful flowers and fountains, and viewing countless epic statues like the ring of French queens going back hundreds of years. Kids will love the playgrounds and renting little sailboats to float in the central fountain. Great place to explore.By Mike Harms (4 months ago)Beautiful… had a lovely picnic there. the statues were very interesting. I enjoyed reading all of the information about them. My son and I did almost a little treasure hunt, looking for various statues.
It was a bit on the dusty side because of the driveways but I’m thinking it’s because the weather was so dry over the summer.
By Makeda Alexander (3 months ago)Had such a great experience here! Late Sept 2021 and the weather was perfect. Not too hot and not too many people. Huge area to explore and spend minutes to hours people watching and enjoying the gardens and grounds. Tons of public chairs available throughout the gardens.By Jalyn Cameron (9 months ago)It’s a beautiful place to walk around. I loved the playground, it was beautiful and my son loved it. The only thing is that you must pay to enter the playground and they charge kids and adults but on the other hand, it has bathrooms and the place looks very clean.By Coke Orellana Espinoza (Coke Geo) (8 months ago)The gardens are beautiful – it’s a nice place to come and sit and enjoy the sunshine and the statues and palace are beautiful! I wish there was more grass or more non gravel areas to sit on as the gravel makes large parts of the park feel like a car park or temporary surface! There are chairs everywhere that can be moved around so there’s plenty of seating and some are designed to be sun loungers (though not the most comfortable)By Daniel Chapman-Harris (6 months ago)

One of my favorite museums in Paris for the temporary and regular exhibitions. The diversity of the collections is simply impressive. Another interesting side is the architecture of the museum. Last and not least the unique restaurant which is a regular step in every visit I do to this place. The view is stunning, the interior is so rich (ceilings, walls,…). I recommend this place with no hesitation!By Ghassan Yammine (10 months ago)Wonderful museum holding paintings, sculptures, and creations of world renowned artists. Definitely don’t miss it if you’re in Paris.
Get the tickets online or Paris Museum pass to skip the long line. We went on a Thursday afternoon and it was way less crowded than the Louvre and it felt easier to stroll the museum more leisurely. Much smaller than the Louvre. We spent around 2 and a half hours here and enjoyed it a lot.
By Angela Chen (a month ago)My #1 museum in the world. I’ve been to this museum twice only and can’t wait to go back again. I am a big fan of impressionism and this place is heaven for someone like me. This museum taught me lots of great painters and their beautiful paintings. Every time I go to Louvre, I feel like overwhelmed but this place just makes me happy. They also have a great French fine restaurant in the museum. You can have a great view of Paris from this museum. Don’t miss the chance to take beautiful photos at this museum!(Pictures are from 2013 and 2018)
By AMY MUNNS (2 months ago)What an amazing museum. The architecture of the railroad station is a stunning setting for a “modern art” gallery. We were visiting on a Sunday so we started early at 10am. By midday the place was getting pretty busy. I’m glad we got the place to Preakness for a couple of hours. The temporary exhibit about the early years of cinema was really eye opening and beautifully presented. I’ve attached some photos of my favourite pieces.By Aron Steg (11 months ago)Amazing museum and I don’t really like museums.Recommend a skip the line, timed entry. The queue otherwise is long and in the sun.
Set in an old train station, the entrance is worth it just to see the interior. Skip to the 5th floor and see some one of the most amazing collections of impressionist and post-impressionist art in the world.
It does get crowded and it is a little warm, but worth it in my opinion.

What a lovely place. One can feel the history and the high society spirit first hand. The hall and all corridors are beautifully decorated. Truly an experience. We went there for the concert midi. Great value for money. I can only recommend.By Manuel Niebhagen (6 months ago)What an incredible place. Words can’t describe how beautiful this building is.
Touring around doesn’t take too long, and the map guide is concise to make the experience all the better.
I hope that one day I can catch a show here. I’m blown away by the beauty of this place.
By Jarrod Dunlop (2 months ago)Definitely my favorite stop while visiting Paris. My daughter and I were visiting from NY and this was at the top of my ‘must see’ list. Aside from being absolutely breathtaking, it was our one stop that was thoroughly enjoyable and manageable. No long lines or shoulder to shoulder crowds (or tons of stairs…because I’m getting old), and we were able to take in everything in an afternoon…Though I still wish I could have just laid down on the floor and stared at the ceiling for a few more hours, because it was just so stunning, with so much detail you could never possibly absorb it all or capture it all in pictures.By Abigail Barhorst (8 months ago)A very beautiful building and well.worth a visit inside. Some of the paintings were amazing especially 2 rooms at the side one had lizards and the other had bats and they were so cool and unexpected. Very elegant placeBy Faith Eales (9 months ago)This is a “should see”. Architecture is awesome. Great pics everywhere you look. Cool history behind the structure and architect. Audio guide is a nice help but not required. You can definitely see it all in less than 45 minutes so don’t hesitate to enter at the last moment.By Noel Houghton (6 months ago)
