Absolutely gorgeous landscape. There are tons of hikes to do, from super easy, to challenging. It’s a landscape photographer’s dream. I’d recommend going during the month of February, as it’s better hiking temps and way less crowded. I was able to get pics of every arch WITHOUT people in them! I’d absolutely recommend you go here if you’re into great hiking and scenery!By Ashley Fountain (6 months ago)Breathtaking place. Amazing to visit with a family, solo trip, or as a couple. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. It gets very hot very quickly here. We visited in March 2022, before the time entry was implemented, but during spring break and yes it was very busy here, especially on the weekends. If I’d visit again would pick a different week, away from holidays, weekend, and target either spring or fall, it seems gets little too hot during summer time here. Overall loved it experience. Kids were so excited about all the trails. Most of the attractions are a very short hike. Some are little more advanced. I would recommend at least a week here. Alternating Canyonlands and Arches is best to give some rest.By Sasha Stewart (8 months ago)What a beautiful National Park!! It was busy both days that we went, but that is expected. Many viewpoints or arches are just a short walk from the parking lot. This is a very family-friendly park because of the easy access. The park and restrooms were immaculate. We got to see several arches/viewpoints within few hours of being in the park.By Matt Z (9 months ago)What an awesome place. The hike to the arch would definitely be challenging for anyone with knee problems or other contusions that might limit mobility. There is a fairly steep incline most of the way up. The hike however is absolutely gorgeous. Plenty of things to see on your way up. I loved how encouraging other hikers were with each-other. Once you get to the top prepare to have your breath taken away because it is much larger than I thought it was. All of the arches were. When you stand under it, you almost lost your balance from trying to look up at it. In addition to the arch, I would go to the cliffs behind it which have huge drop offs into a valley that is gorgeous. Definitely worth the trip and the hike.By Andrew Devries (6 months ago)Beautiful place with a lot of nice hikes. The delicate arch trail is great, make sure you have enough sunscreen and water with you. We went there in October in the morning but the sun is extremely strong. The hike as such is easy going, the last few meter are exposed.By Mathias Gempeler (2 months ago)

What a beautiful and solemn experience. We were in Salt Lake City for one day and, at the end of the day, we heard that the Choir was practicing. So we raced to hear them. Beautiful and inspiring.
07/08/2022 EDIT: Please be aware that the main temple is currently being renovated/reinforced. So, it is covered with scaffolding and the towers are gone.
By John (5 months ago)The temple is still under construction and it’s entirely covers with scaffolding. Hard to see any details. There are some historic buildings open for self guided tours. There are many volunteers who will answer questions. Worth the time.By Dennis Webb (a month ago)Nice, beautiful architecture. Beautiful grounds. I came late about 7 pm. So my pictures maybe a bit dark. I need to go earlier. I hear there is a band playing at noon everyday. Very disappointed no one came to covert me!! Kidding. There was a nice couple that meet me to say hello. Very welcoming.By Liong Mah (2 months ago)Wonderful experience with my older children (8+) while going to see Music and the Spoken Word on Easter! We were there for the first performance since the start of the pandemic and they were truly marvelous! I would highly recommend attending on a Sunday morning and taking it all in!By Mark Pederson (7 months ago)Beautiful place. Unfortunately the temple is on renovation right now but you can see the beauty of it. The conference center is impressive and big. The tabernacle is also nice.By Markus LC (4 months ago)

The dinosaur exhibit is wonderful. I love the gemstone exhibit too. I also enjoy the geology exhibit that traces the history of Utah through millions of years of massive change.
The museum regularly hosts visiting exhibits from all over the world. I recommend going during these times.
There are also interactive activities for children in the mornings and at scheduled times.
In other words, to get the most out this museum, you should look at their event schedule and plan ahead.
By Michael Bowers (10 months ago)This was one of my favorite museum experiences I’ve ever been able to participate in. The walking amount can be a bit of a struggle for those with lesser endurance, but even then, slopes are gradual, elevators are available, and the entirety of the exhibits, save for a couple optional locations, appeared to be easy enough to navigate and handicap-friendly. The stories and presentations were excellently captured, and they made it very easy to discern between interactive and non-interactive attractions and displays. Fun for any age, with lots of visual, auditory, and tactile interactions throughout. Set aside a good 2-3 hours if you want to see everything and experience things wholly. We spent 2 and a half hours here and ended up having to be rushed out at closing time half-way through the Colors exhibit.Absolutely worth the time, the travel, and the visit.
By kyle morton (8 months ago)Had a great time here with my two small kids. Lots of steps but there was an elevator for the stroller that was quick and convenient. The dinosaur exhibit was a little hard to find and my husband ended up having to go back through with our 5yr old to find it before we left. Some of the hands on features didn’t work but most did and they were fun for everyone. The staff were helpful and our toddler was free. The gift shop is pricey but had some great stuff that the kids are still enjoying weeks later.By Lauren (8 months ago)This museum is actually smaller than I thought but absolutely worth it. I like going to different museums while I travel for work because no matter how many of the same things you see there is always some amazing one off things each museum has to offer. This museum doesn’t let down on this idea. They have a really fantastic Native American masterpiece that is small but really packed with information, antiques, and pictures. This museum has a tiny section for stuffed animals when compared to San Diego or DC, but the few they have are really well presented and done well. The dinosaur section is jam packed with different animals and dinosaurs that it is overwhelming. I had to slow down in this section to really see all the amazing items they have here.
Here are a couple things they I found really amazing and have not seen this at other natural history museums. 1) the collection of eggs and turtle shells and they way they are presented. 2) the collection of triceratops’s heads from different types and how they are hung on the wall – breathe taking.. 3) the roof top access has a really great view of the valley.
This place is really great for kids. There are a lot of displays and items for kids to look at, to do, or learn about. One thing that was strange to me was how small their museum shop was and they did not have magnets or stickers about the museum. I collect some of this type of stuff and couldn’t find anything in the shop to pick up. ☹️
Got a couple hours to kill? Why not check it out.
By Slinkston (5 months ago)Architectural jewel abuts the mountain-side overlooking Salt Lake City. Comprehensive exhibit on local first nation tribes is a must see, and floors on flora and fauna, rock formation and the dinosaur era are well curated and enough to interest both the young and old. Well worth a visit.Loved the dioramas.
The cafe was being remodeled during our visit so pack snacks for the kids!

A great stop and so worth the 20 $ entry fee. I did the east west rim trail which is a loop during the sunset and it was very good. Start with the west rim. The trail over a long weekend was relatively empty and peaceful, probably due to the cloud coverage. The trail has some nice look out points which are worth stopping and spending a while. I would say it is family friendly and an easy trail with barely much elevation gain but do water.By Binit Banerjee (6 months ago)The view was phenomenal! We went with a bunch of friends too and we took a lot of photos. I would definitely suggest going here with the family. The views are killer! There is also biking and hiking trails that you can go on. You just need to be careful because some areas don’t have any railing or stuff like that.By James Bastedo (9 months ago)What an absolutely amazing experience and park WOW! This is an absolute must see experience for everyone, especially families. The views are just simply beautiful and amazing. Stunning views from approximately 7,000 feet make for stunning pictures that you will never forgetBy Louie Garcia (2 weeks ago)Wow. This is truly one of America’s hidden gems. Grand Canyon may get most of the press, but the views offered at Dead Horse Point are nothing short of spectacular. In particular, sunrise and sunset both offer incredible photographic opportunities. The rim trails are not long, are flat and offer a variety of amazing views. If you’re lucky enough to get a campsite inside the park, you’ll also enjoy one of the nicest campgrounds in the country.By The Machine Photography (a month ago)Many people come here to share the maze of red rocks and canyons. They look like the Grand Canyon only in a smaller way. The trails along the rim are short, pleasant and extremely charming, and at the same time it is extremely quiet and you can hear the wind and the birds fly. I would highly recommendBy Jacek Roginski (7 months ago)

Must see! The Hill Aerospace Museum offers a vast array of all things aerospace plus. From a model of the first working airplane to more modern aircraft, munitions, personal stories of the brave men and women who have fought for our country, detailed display information, a cockpit tour and many larger aircraft that surround the museum. A huge thank you to the many wonderful volunteers for their service to our country and their help in making our experience greater! They can answer your questions, direct you to whatever your looking for, point out hidden gems, offer personal stories, insight and info on current and future features. I took 3 boys aged 5-7 and it kept their attention for over two hours. Entry is free but donations are encouraged throughout the museum with convenient donations boxes. We will return to learn more about our countries past through this thoughtful and beautifully curated museum.By Candice (3 months ago)What a wonderful way to honor our history! Parking and entrance is free! Clean facilities. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Visiting hours are only until 4:00 pm. They also have a gift shop inside. It was not crowded. You just have to deal with the mask Nazis.By Chrissy (a year ago)It is one of the best museum’s I’ve been to here in Utah! If you love history, military history, or love awesomeness! This is the place, I need to clarify one important thing, everything is free except for the flight simulator, I suggest planning the trip in advance and buying your tickets ahead of time, seating is very limited, it’s $15.00 per person, it looked well worth the money! They have aircraft from the Wright Brothers to modern military aircraft, if you look closely out the windows in the hallway you will see one of the very first (if not the original) Air Force Ones parked on the tarmac! My children loved it, I loved, an Awesome worthwhile trip a hidden Utah Gem! Talk about shook and awe! God bless our troops and all our military and emergency services personnel!By Craig Fisher (2 months ago)Nice aviation museum about 30 miles north of Salt Lake City. Opens Tuesday to Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm. The Museum exhibits many artifacts depicting the history aviation of the US Air Force, Hill Air Force Base, and the state of Utah.
There are picnic tables so you can bring lunch or snacks. There is a souvenir store but no concessions. You can easily spend 3 hours looking and reading about the different planes and stories.
There is no admission, but you can make a voluntary donation if you wish. A great outing for little kids and the big kids.
By Elizabeth Lee (4 months ago)This place is incredible! You only get a little glimpse of it from the freeway, but the second you enter, you realize this place is way cooler than you expected! First, they have an SR-71 inside this place! The first stealth plane that flew at 80,000 and could take photographs while flying at mach 3! SUPER COOL!!
Next, they have literally hundreds of things to look at including F-16s, an A-10, missiles, bombs, literally, more than 50 full size fighter jets, airplanes, helicopters, and more. You could spend hours here and it only feels like minutes! Plus, they are continuing to develop “Experiences” that let you go inside airplanes, missile silos (replace scaled down) and more. It’s just amazing what they have here.By Marc Sunderland (7 months ago)
