Sunning view ! Quiet space to really just take in all nature has to offer we even met a small frog we lovingly named Kermit we set him free but the experience was amazing very well maintained lake for a city girl like myself I enjoyed every secondBy Jessica Heyduk (5 months ago)I’ve never been here before, but it was really nice to just be able to relax inthe sun, swim inthe river for the day. The water was so refreshing & super clear. It cost $10.00 per car load. They have picnic tables & bbq grills too. I was already up inthe Poconos anyway with family but I live in NJ so it’s a perfect daytrip..
Perfect way to enjoy summer ☀️By Meagan Higgins (6 months ago)It was a great place to go and enjoy some time with family and friends. The only downside of it is the it is run by the state and as we know state employees normally dont pay to much attention to anything. To them it is a secure pay check till the close the park and send them home. Pro: good family environment, trash collection on point a lot of parking space, veteran discount for parking pass and you pay for the car not the people inside. Con: facility and common areas let go, 3 out 4 sinks broken, 1 out 2 toilets broken, seen like no one cares about it. Security and personal are gone after 6:30, rest room close after 6:30 but they have a private company that they pay for to give you the service ( portable toilets), the area that take you to the water full of weeds and no sand.By Johan Gomez (5 months ago)Many of my family members had signed up for a 5k and a 10k run. It was a very successful day as everyone completed their runs, and earned trophys within their age group. The place itself is layed out beautifully. Easy parking, tents were set up for a wonderful display of snacks, and an assortment of drinks. The entire event was so well organized ; with plenty of volunteers to assist anyone. The rain came at the end of the event, which didn’t interfere with any plans. We all had a great successful day 🏃♀️🏃🏃♀️🏃🏃♀️🏃🏃♀️🏃🏃♀️🏃🏃♀️🏃🏃♀️🏃🏃♀️🏃By Mary Bauer (2 months ago)Awesome family place. Not a beach for lounging in the sand or swimming. All large rock shoreline. Beautiful for sunset’s however! Many visit just for the sunset then leave. Great spot for skipping stones.
Nice little park with small playground equipment. Park is named after first woman to swim across Lake Erie from Canada, Halli Reid!By Corey McMurray (a year ago)First time I’ve ever seen any of the Great Lakes. In one sense, I’ve still not seen them, since Lake Erie was 90% frozen over. The chunks of ice, piled up from previous wave action was really cool!By E Ross (11 months ago)Stopped here to watch the sunset. Nice little beach, great views of Lake Erie!By spunknit (5 months ago)A nice little hidden gem. Great view of the lake and shoreline. I come here in the wintertime to see the ice dunes. Make sure you bring a warm jacket, gloves and a hat if you decide to go in the winter. There is a steady wind that comes off of the lake that will chill you to the bone if you aren’t dressed properly. You can stay in your car and still have a great view if the cold is not your thing.By Rick Miller (a year ago)Such a beautiful beach and very serene. So many pebbles on the beach. An ideal place to watch sunset. We were passing by and stopped to have dinner and was not disappointed. There’s good washrooms and a good size parking lot. Later in the evening it started to get crowded. Seems like a popular place among locals.

We have seen frozen rivers and lakes before, but nothing on this scale. Even the sand was frozen, and chunks of it were floating in the water! The ice gave the impression of frozen wave crests….it was just a magical place today.
Was very quiet this time of year couple other people came and went but pretty much had it to our selves. Lots of flat rocks if your kids are into skipping rocks and they also found some shells.
I was missing the beach but Lake Erie is much closer to home and a great alternative. It was very pretty, lots of parking and different stretches of beach to choose from. There were lifeguards on duty and it’s a great place for a swim. Sandy beaches, picnic areas, walking paths. Lots to do and see. I will definitely be back again
Had the MOST FABULOUS time. Beaches were clean. Staff helpful. Boat tours were clean and safe with friendly crews. Lighthouses we’re beautiful with very knowledgeable staff. Went back 5 times always found something new!
Surprisingly nice sand for a lake. Very long and worth the drive to the tip. Plenty of beach room to spread out interesting scenery and views. Many activities.
