A few of the one’s I checked straight up smelled like mildew. The dryers I had to keep putting more an more quarters to dry . They don’t clean out the vent traps very often. Most of the equipment has card swipers so a trip to the ATM is unnecessary. Avoid the dryers on your right, however. The dryers are ridiculous! .50 for 5 minutes…I put a load from the reg size washer in and it had 3 bath towels a few hand towels and washcloths, some socks, underwear and 2 tee shirts, after $2.50 the load was still wet!!! I’ve been coming here weekly for years but today I googled laundromats in the area. I will NOT be going back here anymore! You’re about to lose a lot of customers Totally Clean!!!! Big disappointment! Columbus St here I come!!!! Such a shame too because the girls are super friendly and it is very clean but I could’ve paid a payment on a washer and dryer for what I spent! This place came in handy during a pinch when my home machine needed repairs! There’s surprisingly not very many laundry mats around anymore. My dryer is broken, and for the first time in years, I was faced with having to find somewhere other than home to do my laundry. I read all of the comments here before I went to Wash King, and I am puzzled by some of them.
CLEANLINESS: I did not think that Wash King was particularly clean. It was passable but it looks like it could use a deep cleaning – including the floors and the machines. I was careful not to let my blankets (or anything else) touch the floor because it was dusty.
FRIENDLINESS & SAFETY: I did not find the employees or the patrons to be overly (or even a little bit) friendly, but there certainly didn’t seem to be an anti-white vibe. At no time was I concerned about someone wanting to steal my clothes. Everybody just stayed to themselves.
EQUIPMENT: I thought that the washing machines were ridiculously small – even the so-called 4X size barely held a regular-size basket full of towels. The 5X machine was adequate for a blanket and a comforter but that was about it.
The dryers were plenty hot enough, especially if you did not not overload them. I liked the newer bank of dryers that have timers that countdown time left, which is very handy.
In general, the equipment sorely needs updating.
Would I go here again? Of course. It is conveniently located (for me), and I did not find any deal breakers that would chase me away.
UPDATE: I took my favorite winter parka there to be drycleaned. They fried it. The faux fur that lines the hood appears to be melted. I did not notice the damage until long after I had returned home, and it was too late to contact them about it. I feel that the damage was obvious enough that it should have been brought to my attention when the garment was picked up. I won’t be returning to Wash King anytime soon.

Super clean, friendly fresh environment, staff is friendly, helpful, and always cleaning. We dealt with Alesea she was amazing. Great smile, nice all the way around. Would definitely come back!!!? I would recommend Colby’s for your laundry needs.
I really was surprised. The washers were like brand new, all was working. Driers were the same and it didn’t take a long time to dry a batch of clothes. I was very pleased with my service there. I will definitely be returning.
Moving and had to do laundry before our washer and dryer was set up. I appreciate the clean environment, and amazing staff. Also, we accidentally left our wallet- and it was given to staff with cash and cards still inside. There is so much more good out there! Just wanted to share my appreciation.
They employees need to keep the people that aren’t handicapped out of the handicap spaces that aren’t handicapped!! I’m handicapped and every time I come there is mostly someone parked there and they aren’t handicapped!! They need to keep those people out of those spaces that aren’t handicapped other wise then why have the handicapped sign there!!?? If you see someone one parked in those spots PLEASE check with them to see if they are handicapped and if they aren’t PLEASE have them move their car!!! That’s why I gave it 1 star!

First time going here and I must say I was very pleased. This is the first time I’ve walked into a laundromat and was happy. The place was so clean and offered everything from internet, pacman arcade game a long with other games, a pop machine and a separate snack machine. The prices where great and machines not only clean but all worked wonderful. I’ll definitely be going back until my new machines arrive but then will continue to go back here for bedding and etc. They also have security cameras everywhere and it feels very safe. The lady working there was so helpful and friendly.
