This place is amazing! My lady started off with a dozen local oysters, and I had a shrimp cocktail. She crushed that dozen quickly, and my shrimp cocktail didn’t stand a chance either. The 12oz New York Strip steak was on point. Her Blue Crab Fettuccine, according to her, was”absolutely tasty.” The service was amazing and the energy of our server was top notch. Definitely recommend!!By Josh Tully (6 months ago)One of the best meal I had in Savannah. Started off with a cup of Gumbo. So damn good but pricey for a CUP of soup. For my entree I ordered the red snapper which was seared to perfection. It came with rice and asparagus. I also ordered 2 extra sides, Mac n cheese and collard greens. Both were very good. Service was very good.By Vincent Mañara (9 months ago)Good food, we had the oysters (the tasting plate so tried different kinds that they had), the Scottish salmon with barley mushroom risotto and the 12oz new York strip. The food was delicious although we didn’t love the barley risotto so if you’re not a fan of barley, get a different side. Great vibe especially on the upstairs patio with amazing views although we ended up eating on the ground floor. The server was nice enough but not very attentive. The steak arrived overcooked so we had to send it back and our server was nowhere to be found so we had to ask another server to help us. Thankfully the second steak arrived quickly and perfectly cooked so it worked out but I think they need to hire more people if the servers are too overwhelmed with the amount of guests.By Alla (7 months ago)A friend of ours really wanted some seafood, so we tried this place. Good reviews overall, so our expectations were in line. Frankly it was a good place to eat, we had three orders of raw and roasted oysters, and a few drinks. My main issue with the place? It was WARM inside. If it’s 95F outside, you can’t really have your restaurant at 85F, it felt humid and annoying. Drinks helped, but that’s no way to keep your establishment. No need to cool the place exorbitantly like some restaurants do, but 80+ is not acceptable. Other than that, our experience was enjoyable, just hampered by the warm atmosphere.By Xabier Granja (6 months ago)Oyster Sampler Platter was fantastic! Great way to see if you like oysters (which I do now!). Really enjoyed the Crab Linguini. Pieces of crab were small but tasty. Nice atmosphere. Catfish sandwich was also good.By Kimberly Canale (2 months ago)

We were trying to find a place to eat on a Saturday night that wasn’t packed. We saw the good reviews for this place and decided to check it out. The line moved quickly despite it being somewhat busy. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. My husband got the low country shrimp boil and it was amazing. I got the fried calamari with fries and a cup of clam chowder. Everything but the calamari was super fresh and the temperature was HOT (which we love!). The calamari wasn’t as hot as everything else, but it was by no means cold. We sat outside, which was nice. The pricing was good considering it’s seafood. Drinks were good, too. Overall, 10/10!By Trinity Howard (9 months ago)What a delicious meal! 😋 I ordered the low country shrimp 🍤 boil, it was good, perfectly cooked, but could have used a touch more seasoning. It had a spicy kick but not overwhelming (I wish I had asked for more heat) The fish tacos were really good but took forever to get them. Cute place.By Ingrid Rodgers (5 months ago)Googled ‘good Savannah lunch spots’ and found this gem. Absolutely incredible for an out of town couple looking for a southern seafood spot. Great menu and serving sizes, fast casual environment. Didn’t realize ownership also runs Savannah Smokehouse which we also highly recommend.By Clay J (10 months ago)We loved it so much we were there twice while visiting our son. It was my honeys first experience to have a low country boil, which I knew what it was being from Alabama and New Orleans (visiting from Colorado). My honey decided the second time he didn’t like working so hard for his food, but it was an experience. I wish I could eat there everyday- but it’s kinda far from Colorado. I miss fresh seafood so much.By Nadelle Payne (7 months ago)Great food in a great location! Savannah Seafood Shack is a must try if you are visiting!
Very extensive menu with steam seafood, fried seafood and sandwiches. Has a great lunch menu as well!
Low country boil is seasoned perfectly!
Has indoor and outdoor seatings. Great for family and kids.
Very friendly staff! Can get extremely crowded. So budget plenty of time.

There is plenty of room for dining and nice environment. The food was hot and fresh! The menu has a variety of choices and some popular favorites. So much to choose from and it’s probably all good, based on the fried platter I ordered! Great pick to support local restaurants by river.
Stopped in on St Patrick’s Day. Wasn’t that crowded. The service was average & the food sub par. The Seafood Boil came w/ 10 steamed shrimps 3 little potatoes 3 pieces of sausages & 1/3 of a corn on the cob. Not really worth $23 for the small portions & definitely not a real seafood boil IMO. Other wise not to bad.
We’ve been here once before and loved our first trip but this visit just short of our first visit. I had crab bisque and it was delicious, as was my Blackened Grouper Florentine. Two thumbs up from me! My wife ordered a low country boil (her favorite) and a Caesar salad. Her shrimp were not deveined so she had to work a bit for her meal and I don’t recall us having to do this during our first visit. I could be wrong because she’s had so many low country boils over the last 2 years but either way, it would have been nice of the shrimp was deveined. The Caesar salad is not your typical Caesar and that threw her off a bit too. Decent salad, just not what we expected. In their defense, they did label it a “Regency Caesar Salad” and described the ingredients which we clearly missed before ordering. Again, not a perfect 5 but definitely a solid 4 for us.
The food was delicious!!! My husband had the crusted red snapper over mash potatoes with some kind of shrimp sauce. I had chicken Alfredo. We had the spinach artichoke dip and mushroom stuffed with blue crab for appetizers. Everything was perfectly seasoned and the portions were a nice size. We will definitely go back and I highly recommend it. We also met chef Jason. He was a really cool guy who obviously knows his way around the kitchen.
1st, I would like to thank Mr. Tucker for wonderful service. Mr. Tucker was professional and funny. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. If I had one complaint, when I received my food. There was some fried onions that was thin, crispy and sweet. It was not on the menu and there was no more. I was disappointed. I don’t like onions however it was so good.
