This Target makes a Soviet Walmart look like Saks Fifth Avenue. Bare shelves, aisles filled with trash and debris, displays that are tagged with gang graffiti. I’ve been in twice (for things they didn’t have in stock) and couldn’t wait to leave. It has all the charm of a prison out-processing area that’s being run by stray raccoons. Dirty and unsafe. Avoid this place.By Matt Thompson (4 months ago)If you’re ever thinking of doing a drive up order with this location, don’t! I don’t live close to the store but was going to be in the area so decided to place a drive up order for an item I needed. I live about 15-20minutes away from the store so I notified them through the app that I was on my way to pick up my order before I left. Arrived and still had to wait 20-30 minutes just for them to bring out my order. Had I known I would’ve just gone in and purchased the item myself. Unless you’re willing to sit and wait , don’t do pick up orders with them.By Kennedi Greene (a month ago)I was looking for red tinsel garland in all the stores near me. I called the super Target off of E. Ellsworth Avenue because they said that they carried it. After waiting on hold the first time, I was hung up on. I called back only to be told by the manager that yes, they had some in stock but they wouldn’t hold the only (2) left even when I told him that I would be right there. I was informed that I could order it online. In my opinion, that is rotten customer service. You would think that being in a managers position that they would have better PR skills. I felt like his comment was rude, and that he didn’t give a you know what. I am very disappointed in this store and lack of customer service! Maybe it’s time that corporate starts doing secret shoppers so they can see how things are handled during the night shifts.By Michelle Burds (a month ago)Target as a while is great. The location at Alameda and Sable in Aurora, CO is awful as far as the checkout experience- they have 20 something regular checkout lanes and only ever use one – so everyone with full carts end up in the self check lane which them makes that line super long. Stupid inefficient use of space and employees.By shannon kenworthy (2 months ago)It is clean and the deli always has stuff I can use for work. I shop here weekly and love the convenience of the self checkout and just how clean and easy everything is compared to wally world down the street.By Troy Wrightstone (3 months ago)

This Target is a little confusing. Not because of the layout but because when you first walk in, it appears to be a lot larger than you expect from the outside. However, then you walk around and quickly realize that it’s actually quite small, and you will be lucky to find one option of the product you need. Prices are reasonable, especially for being downtown in a touristy area. Self-checkout was quick and efficient. If you stop in to pick up something you need, just mentally prepare yourself to have to go elsewhere.By Josh Bittinger (3 months ago)As a resident of the neighborhood, I have enjoyed the convenience of shopping at this Target since the day it’s doors opened. So much, that I attended a court hearing in favor of this Target being granted a license to sell adult beverages on behalf of the community since Target provides fair pricing, compared to the only other store in the general area which is highly over priced.
Although I do not expect my commitment as a consumer to be understood by the staff due to this locations high turnover rate, I do expect that the staff adhere to Targets policies which are to encourage an enjoyable shopping experience for all customers who intend to make purchases or compare prices and products.
Which is why it disappoints me to share my embarrassing experience of unnecessary harassment I endured by the store directory Mike who insisted on displaying unprofessional behavior towards me, following a rude remark he made to me upon entering this store, which was disrespectful and uninviting.
Unsure of his comment, I acknowledge to him that I wasn’t sure of what he meant and that perhaps a polite greeting may have been more appropriate.
Rather than let his comment disrupt my shopping experience any further, I proceeded to find the items that I was searching for.
After a short amount of time had passed, the same employee (Mike) approached me while I was at the back of the store in the frozen foods section. He proceeded to tell me that he has made the decision that I may not complete a transaction today and instructed me to put my items back and exit the store.
Due to being confused about his reason to single me out, I asked what is causing him to enforce such aggressive behavior so that I may understand how I may have been able to avoid these unnecessary interaction. He ignored my concern and asserted his authority while insisting that failure to cooperate will result in him calling the police.
Feeling as though this was a form of harassment, I attempted to walk away from him and seek for another staff member to help me understand what was happening.
Anxiety overwhelmed me as I was not able to locate another manager to speak with. Finding no reason to tolerate his behavior, my conclusion was to ignore his arrogance and proceed to the self checkout. As I attempted to scan my items, he then finds it necessary to reach over me and cancel my transaction. At this point I am appalled and I approach the register attendant to explain the matter. This is when Mike instructs the staff member not to assist me. As I walk away I approach security and ask that they please explain what is going on. Mike interferes and instructs security to call the police. At this point I made it known that I would wait for the police so that I could make a report about his behavior in case this type of harassment has been or may have been experienced by other shoppers.
After having waited a while and feeling down right embarrassed and defeated, I made my way towards the exit and Mike proceeded closely behind me and followed me outside, where he told me I am no longer welcomed back ever again. I attempted to plead with him to help me understand and I provided an apology for whatever I did which caused him to be so outrageous. Mike never explained nor accepted my apology.
Upon arriving home empty handed, my fiancé was shocked to hear that I was not allowed the same shopping experience as everyone else, and we decided to file a complaint with the corporate offices.
Thankfully corporate advised me that they would investigate and they assured me that I could continue shopping at this location without fear of further harassment. With confidence that this would cease, I returned a few days later to purchase other essentials.
Unfortunately I found myself again being approached by Mike and he singled me out to state allowed that I was unwelcome. The embarrassment and harassment resurfaced my anxieties and to avoid further cruelty, I complied and left. Immediately I called corporate to file another report and I was advised his behavior violates policy.
By Neal Rigga TV (2 months ago)Word to the wise: if you’re visiting Denver and more specifically: traveling from a more rural area of the country and/or not used to being in the city…THIS TARGET IS WAY INCONVENIENT! Couldn’t find where to go for my pick up order to stock our hotel room with snacks and such…. Then the carts can’t go outside so if you’re getting more than a bag or two…. Good luck!!! Cuz I ended up carrying a 12 pack of sprite, a 12 pack of bottled beer, and about 4 grocery bags…. For a city block!
Save yourself the hassle and drive a little further to a Target that’s set up more like one you likely have back home!!!!! Horrible!!!By Kaitlyn Davis (4 weeks ago)Happy to have a Target downtown but fair warning they are a bit pricier and the team members aren’t as friendly as most, sometimes they could order more 2 liters they tend to be sold out on most trips but other than that the convenience of having it in the neighborhood is nice and they carry items some of the other local grocery stores don’t. Target run and done 🙂By Christopher Covell (4 months ago)What a fantastic addition to the 16th street. I have been visiting this area for decades and if you forgot something at home while on a trip you were S.O.L. The mini Target fixes that problem. One stop shopping for the majority of your needs.By Todd Martin (2 years ago)

I could spend way too long in here if I could they just have everything you could want. First Target I’ve ever been to with a liquor store, kill all these birds with one stone baby!
Thank you, Nick in electronics yesterday (10/1) at around 4pm! Nick went above and beyond to help me with a product I was having an issue with. Nick had such a fantastic attitude and a friendly demeanor. I know customer service isn’t always an easy job, but people like you just have a special way of making people feel comfortable and at ease. I hope management knows what a fantastic employee you are!
Was an amazing experience all of the employees were very very good at their jobs. Very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and they helped make my good day when I walked in into a great day by the time I walked out. I’m still in a very good mood thanks to them helping make it just a little bit better. Thank you all for being so amazing!
My wife and I were changing our cell phone provider to Consumer Cellular and went to the Target store in Glendale, Colorado. There we had the supreme pleasure of having Nick Devietro help us get it done. He seemed to be the only person in the department and was clearly busy, but stopped doing what he was doing (unpacking boxes) to take care of us. He clearly had done this before and was able to get through the process with speed, accuracy and great sense of humor, while still assisting other customers, pointing out where the item they were looking for was located, answering any questions about a product ringing up their purchases and doing it in a very friendly and professional way. He clearly had taken the time to learn about the products in the electronics department and has superb customer service and interpersonal skills. If you ever find yourself in this store and need assistance with anything electronic, I hope you get the opportunity to have Nick assist you.
I just had the best experience in a frustrating situation. It’s not common for you to have this. One of the helpers at the self check out named Akila (I might be misspelling her name). She went above and beyond on explaining to me why a deal wasn’t activating on the machine. She was patient, helpful, and informative. I just want her positive attitude and helpfulness to be recognized. I didn’t know who or how to get a hold of someone over the phone. Hopefully this helps. 👌
