I love Target! I like doing grocery pick ups or even some occasional things I need for the kids through the app. Service is always great and people are so nice. I feel very unwelcome when I walk in and very enclosed and all I want to do is get what I came for and leave. When I use to go to Target regularly it was to walk around see what’s new and what’s on sale and after going in numerous times since the remodel, I still get the same feeling; uninvited, enclosed and crammed. This store looks bad. Every time I go there is clothes all over the floor. Today I finally decided to take pictures because I can not believe it’s so frequent. Online shoppers don’t deserve this special treatment.By Scott Smith (a month ago)they need to be less worried about fulfilling online/curbside orders and more worried about their storefront. 10/10 would NOT buy clothes here because they have probably been trampled all over from being on the floor so long. 6+ employees just walking around the store, pushing the carts for their curbside orders, leaving the carts in the middle of aisles and blocking them off. this store is in awful shape.By Jaden Dancey (3 months ago)Shopped for $400 worth of a clients groceries- just to have the self checkout woman throw frozen items on top of my bread and then on to the floor, while trying to dig out a .79 cent can of tomato sauce from the bottom of the cart to make sure I wasn’t stealing it! Never been treated so discriminatory or disrespectfully in the 3 years or 1,000 orders of doing my job. She was unapologetic in her quest to catch me “stealing” within these clients groceries and when I questioned her authority or purpose as to why she was making a spectacle of this whole ordeal whilst throwing food around and on the floor- she told me to “go somewhere else and not bother her on this side of the store again!” Guess I’m not allowed to complain about her throwing food- but that’s okay!
I called management to report the woman who would just not stop running her mouth even as I was walking away to bag my $400 worth of groceries on the other side of the store- and the management promised she would be dealt with. It’s been a few days and I’ve had no follow up only to assume this wretched creature still lurks in “customer service” and self checkout- but that’s okay!
I’ll be calling corporate today.
Won’t be coming here again, advised my clients upon drop off of the situation and they will also not be shopping here again. And man- $400 a week on groceries really adds up! So just on one family you lost about $20,000 a year on sales. Multiply that by my family and all the other I’m going to express my opinion to- sure doesn’t seem worth the company loss or her payroll to keep one troll on staff.By Jo (3 months ago)When we first walked in we noticed things had been moved and changed around. Then it took us forever to find the Men’s Dept. Had to look through a mound of shirts to finally find the ones that I needed. I did find the color and size in both that I was looking for. However, it was very difficult to find them in the jumbled mess. Then we had to ask where the Christmas Dept. was. It was also not in the same place it had been before and looked like a much smaller area and variety. Pretty much every department we went through was a wreck. This is a very nice location. The store is clean, organized and the staff is nice. They have a great snack grab and go section in the front of the store. The lay out of the store is also nice and makes it easy to maneuver. I highly recommend you shop at this location.
I always order my groceries the night before on Target, however, last night 10/26/22 they didn’t have my usual order in stock, so I decided to try Walmart in Fishers. Ordered my groceries, selected a pick-up time between 6PM – 7PM for the next day (10/27/22), and pick them up after work. The next day (10/27/22) I went all day not knowing the status of my order. Finally 6 PM rolls around, no confirmation for my order. 7PM arrives, I call to check the status. Walmart associate told me it would be done in 30 minutes. 5 minutes after I get off the phone with the associate, I got a notification that my order was ready, and only 5 of the 29 items I ordered was ready and in stock.
In my experience, it felt like, I ordered something, not hear anything about it all day, then find out, nothing was in stock I needed, AND, felt like what was the point of even picking a time slot when no one was working on the order anyways? Needless to say, I cancelled my entire order at Walmart.
I realized, I should have done it right the first time, I jumped onto Target’s app, ordered my items, this time they had everything I needed in stock (only 1 was out of stock, which is 100% okay). 30 min later, I get a notification that my order was ready for pick up. Not only did my local Target store get 99% of my items, they completed my order in 30 minutes compared to Walmarts 24 hours. When I parked, I notified I had arrived and 2 minutes later an associate came out with my things, loads my groceries, and I was home, put my groceries away in 45 minutes total. Consider my mind blown. Fantastic!
I know it would be unrealistic to expect this every time, but I was just blown away that I only interacted with 1 human the entire time, and still had an amazing experience.
My lease at the apartments down the street ends in June, and honestly, the only reason I’m even considering renewing my lease is this Target.
What used to be a clean, friendly store is now filthy. Last time we checked out, we got to listen to the cashier spend the entire time scanning items complaining about his job and his boss. And don’t even THINK about using the restrooms in the front of the store. I’ve been in privy’s that are cleaner.
This target is a logistical nightmare. From the parking lot to the too small aisles. Especially on the weekend it absolutely isn’t worth it. There’s a target on the east side that is less glamorous but 100x more accessible. Yikes.
I am done with Target. The only reason I even bothered today was because it was a gift I was returning and had to use store credit to get what I wanted – which despite having A DISPLAY MODEL AND EMPTY SPACE ON THE SHELF, the item is NOT available in any store in a 60 mile radius and only available online. Then WHY have a spot on a shelf, Target?? And it’s not some obscure thing that only certain people want, it’s a freaking basic CrockPot. If you don’t want to stock it in store, then don’t put the exact model there and tell me I can’t walk out of the store with it. I can get it cheaper and faster on Amazon, or in store at the Meijer a mile away.
