Scenic lake in Saskatoon outskirt. Lots of barbecue grills avilable which make it a perfect picnic outting venue for family and friends. Very well maintained. Great experience from the start. Our server, Angel, greeted us at the start and got us a table. He was quick to a joke and his magic/jokes were a blast. The food was great. Between pizza, pasta and seafood it was all wonderful. The ambiance of the environment was also really nice and relaxed. We ate at the Water’s Edge Restaurant and found the food very good and the prices reasonable. The staff were very good, very friendly, accommodating and made our experiences very enjoyable. Angel (Asst Manager) was excellent and everyone else (other food servers/bussers) were very good as well. The service at night was really good he constantly checked up on you making sure you didn’t need anything or topping off drinks, during the morning the lady wasn’t very good at coming around even if it wasn’t that busy, but she was still very friendly! We checked out of our hotel in Saskatoon, went for brunch and then drove the hour and one-half to Manitou Springs. We expected to have to wait because we arrived early but the very helpful reception staff worked to put us into a room that was ready and so we managed to get a nice swim in on our first day. What a pleasant start!
The main restaurant was amazing. Each day we selected a different menu item for our evening meal and were never disappointed. The selection was great and always tasty. We also had breakfast and I can recommend the loaded omelette with either the hash browns and toast or the very delightful fruit cup.
A bright spot was interacting with our servers. Brubaker was a delight to chat with whenever he was on duty. We felt we made a real friend with him. Best wishes to you, Brubaker! Two other servers who stood out were Kelvin and Ivy. They were always friendly and welcoming each time we came in.
Our 5 night stay was excellent thanks to the great staff, good food and great pool area. This was our 3rd visit and there will be more!
We only used the mineral pool which was absolutely lovely! We ate lunch in the dining room and the food and service were both top notch. The price for our meal was very reasonable and portion sizes generous. I will be returning!
Manitou Springs Resort & Mineral Spa is an absolute delight! Our group of 70+ gathered for our McCormick Family Reunion August 5-7, 2022. Originally scheduled for the summer 0f 2020, Covid 19 derailed us until this summer. I had begun planning it back in 2019 with Group Sales Marketing Director Carrie Schaan. Carrie and her team were more than helpful, accommodating and went the extra mile for us. The staff and management made us feel welcome and comfortable. The facilities and amenities are excellent and punch above their weight in terms of affordability. The surrounding community of restaurants, art galleries, treasure/relics shopping, the Dance Hall, camping, golf, and beach activities was awesome. Highly recommended!!
Manny at the Restaurant in the hotel went above and beyond!! He was AMAZING!! The drinks he made, his friendly service and attitude was amazing!! Keep up the good work Manny! Richard was our cook for the first night we were there, he came out and offered to buy us a dessert for our honeymoon! We didn’t let him but that was nice!! Love this hotel, friendly people, great food, good clean hotel rooms and clean pool!! Definitely will be back!! And definitely recommend to everyone!!
I love going here even if it’s once every three years! It’s a beautiful view and I love the pools. I haven’t been able to get a massage or facial yet but it’s definitely in the books for the next time I go!!
