First time at this location and I loved it! What an awesome layout for a store. The building is so inviting and rustic. You could literally get lost in this place! Amazing people, amazing products an adventure in itself. If you think it’s gonna be a quick trip think again. Plan for an entire afternoon and bring the family! I know I’ll be back! Thank you for the experience.By Broncoboy2020 (10 months ago)Large outdoors store with many services such as bicycle repair and snowboard waxing. They even have test facilities such as a dirt track for bikes and a climbing area. The options for sports and camping products include pricey brand names like Patagonia and more affordable REI-brand products. I love my REI cooler – It’s great quality and much cheaper than similar coolers by YETI. Expect to pay a high price if you want long-lasting material, even in the clearance section. The used (or returns) section can be very cheap, but make sure to read the tag for a description on why it was returned or on sale. Sometimes, it’s something as simple as “used once and returned for wrong size” and other times it could be “zipper is broken.” The staff is very knowledgeable and can help you with anything. Need tips on climbing shoes? They can help. Want to purchase camping gear specifically for summer season? They’ll explain the right products for that. There are parking lots and an underground garage that are free for the first two hours.By Melissa Rausch (10 months ago)Every outdoor item you would ever need for any activity. Good mix of style and funtion. By high quality item once. Lots if little corners to explore. No shortage of anything fully stocked. Crowded store but large enough store to get space. Fast checkout even though line looked long. Moved quick. Cheaper options elsewhereBy Zach Martin (8 months ago)This has got to be one of the coolest REIs I’ve ever been too! The floor plan is multiple stories and crosses what seems to be an entire city block.
I originally came in with a friend looking for some athletic shorts and shirt for a game, yet, we ended up spending a couple of hours here.
The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. This location also has its own rock climbing wall and is centrally located to downtown.
By Chris Parker (7 months ago)Don’t go to this store, you’ll want to buy everything, and you probably can’t.I’m kidding of course, this flagship REI is simply beautiful! The building, an old warehouse is fascinating from the inside, and everything you could want at an REI is here. They even have things that you didn’t know existed but wished did exist because they would make your life easier.
And the staff is extremely friendly!
The only negative is that I imagine is the price is prohibitive to many, and I believe everyone should have access to some level of outdoor gear.

This store is not fully functional. I would recommend against using the bike shop. They totally wasted my time on two occasions. I wanted to ship a bike, and rather than giving me a bike box, they sold me on their services of packing and shipping the bike. I was even told that they would re-assemble the bike at another REI destination for an extra fee. It sounded too good to be true. Well, it was. I brought the bike in to have it shipped, and after 45 minutes of assistant managers and the store manager discussing the issue, I was told that REI does not in fact ship bikes for MEMBERS. But I heard the discussion between the managers.
They said that the last bike they shipped was for AN EMPLOYEE!
They only ship bike for EMPLOYEES.
So rude.
I am a member of this co-op so I’ll be forwarding this to upper management.By Steve Novy (2 months ago)It’s a great store and actually bigger than it looks from outside. Lots of products. Staff is very helpful! Very convenient location. Only thing could be to make more space between the main entrance and the shop to navigate with a bicycle.By M R (3 months ago)Needed hiking shoes for some mountain hikes. Evan in the shoe department was very helpful and friendly. Good selection of outdoor wear and gear. Good prices too.By Tree Farmer (2 months ago)I bought a pair of Solomon boots online from REI last season and they fell apart, so I brought them to this new location here hoping I could get them exchanged and Tori was the one who helped me. She was so helpful and kind throughout the whole process! Thank you Tori!By Nic Bray (4 months ago)We went in to look at cross country ski packages. We know nothing about what we needed but Jon spent so much time with us helping us divide what we were after and what we needed. Fantastic and knowledgeable crew!!By Tobie Palmer (a month ago)

Exceptional customer service as always. And past isolation has left me out of the loop – a remodeled interior and a brand new Coop store has been built right next door! 5 Thumbs Up for Valerie at check-out who assisted me with using my remaining membership bonus $$. Best selection and best quality on all gear and REI stands firmly behind their one-year guarantee for all non outdoor electronic gear.By Bart (11 months ago)Been taking my bikes here for work and tuneup for years and tonight once again I was not disappointed. The staff is always exceptional, helpful and take care of my gear flawlessly. I cannot recommend them enough, thanks REI for taking care of my bicycling needs. Your the best.By Kelly Rogers (5 months ago)07/18/2022
Over 6000 folks read my review. Still waiting for the store location to get back to me on picture policy. Seems simple.06/25/2021
Reached out to corporate. In general, there is no current written policy about taking pictures in REI stores.06/24/2021
Update- Over the last two years I have spent a portion of my paycheck here. Today I was told I am not allowed to take photos of merchandise.
I was unable to determine if it was the store employees’ policy or the store’s policy not to take photos. When I asked if they would like for me to take down a REI google photo that had 98,000 views, or the others that total half a million views, they squirmed and would not commit. The second employee took my information and said they would reach out to corporate for me. She was concerned I was taking pictures of people. I willingly showed her my merchandise photos to demonstrate there were no people in my shots.
The managers “were in a meeting” and unable to talk to me.
I am still awaiting my answer from corporate from the store employee and the email I sent them in regards to photographs of merchandise.

Spoke with Steve-Dave and Kelly about various outdoor items necessary for a backpacking trip. All were exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. The store is well laid out and the products are high quality. There was no pressure to purchase anything. I will be returning soon!By Benjamin Thiel (4 months ago)Great staff who are always helpful when trying to shop! Vivian in the snow department was fabulous, giving me some great advice on ski boots and ski helmet fits. Really appreciated the time she took to help me, will be back!By Carleen Porter (a week ago)Great store! The manager Cameron was extremely helpful with an issue I had with an online order. This location is always helpful and knowledgeable.
They pretty much have everything for all of our needs while out in the rockies!
Picked up some new hiking books and they were happy to help and stick around untill our decision was complete.
Picked up some extra goodies on the way out.By John Wilson (4 months ago)In addition to having all the sporting good store items you’d expect, this store has exceptional employees. Everyone is super friendly and helpful, without hounding you. Ian at the bike shop had just gotten to work, didn’t even take his backpack off yet and stopped to help us. All the employees we encountered seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. It makes all the difference in where we want to shop.By Cheryl Watkins (6 months ago)I’ve appreciated many parts of this store over the years, but I’ve had 2 great experiences in the bike shop this past week. First, Reuben helped me out by diagnosing my tune-up and consulting on what I needed. I felt listened to and understood. Then there were a few problems encountered during the fixing and they provided great diagnosis and service over the phone. Today I brought in another bike to fix up as I picked up the original bike and the person who helped me (didn’t catch their name) did magic in a super short time frame and I was able to leave with a great shifting bike without having to wait a ton of time. That turnaround is obviously only possible with a small set of problems, but I appreciated getting lucky this time. They seem knowledgeable and skilled at the work of fixing bikes and advising customers.By Greg Knaddison (6 months ago)In a bit of an odd location, since you need to go back around on a side road after you get off the highway. Curbside order pickup in the past was convenient. Most recently came here to return several items (I had ordered a few different sandals online to try on at home), and it was easy to return the unused items I didn’t want.By Katie Goulet (2 months ago)Everyone is super nice other than the guy checking me out who who punched my national parks pass for the month of august even though there is only 2 days left in the month while online the national parks website is only selling passes punched for September. This was communicated but the apathy was real.By Kristin Jordan (3 months ago)

Just got the most adorable Keen water shoes for my granddaughter! I also found some quick dry pants with the help of a truly wonderful sales associate at REI. She was totally knowledgeable and incredibly awesome! REI is never short staffed. They always have the nicest people working there. Then when I went to check out, the friendliest and funniest cashier I have ever experienced made paying fun! This store is da BOMB!By Mamie Sheen (8 months ago)Excellent, helpful customer service. 🙂 I came in to purchase a backpack and sunglasses this evening but had some problems with my credit card (the bank thought my purchase was fraud) that made the transaction take a long time. Tristan was my cashier and was helpful in providing me some advice with choosing a day pack and then was extremely patient and helpful while I was having the card problems and even eventually helped me solve it!By Hannah Berg (2 months ago)Compelled to write a review because Sage, who works in climbing, was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Sage was informative and kind and excited about us finding rock climbing as a new hobby and guiding us through getting our own gear. They were neither deterred/annoyed by our lack on knowledge nor belittling, which can be common. They also pulled probably 15 different pairs of shoes and was very thorough. Thanks, Sage!By Emilia Epstein (3 months ago)REI is the best outdoor store. You won’t freeze to death if you buy your gear from them. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because I think they need a few more people on the floor answering questions. If you already know what you need the gear is all there.By Laura Neal (a month ago)I felt like I needed to leave a review because everyone was so helpful and kind at this REI location! I asked one person if they could help me find a sun hoodie and I think I had at least 5 employees finding my size in different places in the store. They were all great, definitely a good experience!By Hope Brecto (2 months ago)
