It was my first time to Michigan City Beach and I was so impressed with the incredible beauty this place gives!
I went on a Thursday so it didn’t seem crowded at all but I’m sure other days of the week can be very busy at Michigan City Beach!
Michigan City Beach one of the best beaches in Indiana has a very clean beach and the water is crystal clear and the sand is soft when you step on it.

I walked Michigan City Beach in both directions and there were lots of cool shells and slates to pick up and explore so I suggest you give it a try!
At that time I was eager to get some photos of the waves at Michigan City Beach on a cool afternoon that looked like it was going to rain.
I got some really great photos of the waves, lighthouse, and seagulls upwind at Michigan City Beach and I thought it was an excellent day to have a camera here.

Its a short walk from the hotel to Dunes State Park Beach one of the best beaches in Indiana which has a very clean and not crowded beach at all.
Dunes State Park Beach has pretty cold water because the temperature is 85 degrees in June but that didn’t stop me from enjoying my vacation here.
At Dunes State Park Beach there are signs for fishing but I didn’t see anyone fishing at that time.

At Dunes State Park Beach there are also public toilets and outdoor showers to rinse off the sand and plenty of parking.

3. North Shore Beach Or Beverly Shores
The North Shore Beach Or Beverly Shores has toilets and platforms with picnic tables and this was the first place I saw Lake Michigan and it was so beautiful and different.
I was also amazed to see the Chicago skyline and surfers enjoying the waves rolling in North Shore Beach one of the best beaches in Indiana.
Again this is a very nice beach area in North Shore Beach with fairly complete facilities and doesn’t make you worry in the slightest.

Al And Sally’s Motel: The owners of Al And Sally’s Motel are very hospitable and I enjoyed staying for a few nights and even had a relaxing evening at home drinking, roasting marshmallows and hot dogs on one of the grills which here provide it for guests near the pool and playground.
4. Whihala Beach And Whiting Lakefront Park
Whihala Beach And Whiting Lakefront Park is a stunning beach park and it is a park in two parts where the beach is almost a mile long and the lakeside park is a short walk from the beach.
Whihala Beach And Whiting Lakefront Park the guards protect beach users diligently and don’t expect to swim here and usually they close the beach too early at 6pm not even letting you walk on the beach after that allotted time.

The garden section of Whihala Beach features a jetty with fantastic industrial views in the southeast and a magnificent city skyline in the northwest giving a sense of nature and modernization.
Many benches line the beach with tables, and a playground with a sand volleyball court that is widely used at Whihala Beach.
If the wind is strong from the northwest then Whihala Beach will be closed but the sight of the big waves hitting the rocks will be an unforgettable memory for me who happened to be nearby at that time.
The whole area of Whihala Beach one of the best beaches in Indiana is great although there is a small section under construction which they are keeping in good shape.
It’s nice that there’s a nice park along Whihala Beach where most of the coastline is amid an industrial scene.
