I will discuss 3 best beaches in Prince Edward Island‎ namely Cavendish Beach, Brackley Beach, and North Rustico Beach.

1. Cavendish Beach

Cavendish Beach is an amazing beach where there are all these cool red rocks but not so much to stop you from enjoying this beautiful place.

Cavendish Beach has slightly undulating water which makes it fun to jump over the waves and the water is warm and I think this places on of the best beaches in Prince Edward Island.

Cavendish Beach was not overly crowded and there was a well marked complete landing and no dog policy making us feel much more comfortable than usual on the beach.

If I had another day I would spend the whole day at Cavendish Beach and enjoy the soft sand, beautiful and clean water.

Cavendish Beach is in my opinion the perfect gem, because the whole family can enjoy the beach and the little ones really enjoy the sand bar and I feel very comfortable because there are several lifeguards guarding.

I loved seeing the cliffs at Cavendish Beach where you can enter through the national park entrance or directly onto the beach and there is also a bike path that runs through the national park so you can park and do the beach and trails from the same place.

Silverwood Motel: When I stepped into the suite at the Silverwood Motel which had a very large and clean room, with a fully equipped kitchen and a back door for a BBQ and an outdoor pool.

The owner of the Silverwood Motel was quite knowledgeable, friendly, gave me lots of advice, helped me find the best places for me to see.

2. Brackley Beach

Brackley Beach is a great beach, very clean and well maintained and the area has ample parking, bathroom facilities and lifeguards on the beach.

Brackley Beach has shallow water and you can walk in some areas and the water is still only for your calves, so it is very safe for children.

Brackley Beach stretches far so there’s plenty of room for families to hang out with the dunes quite dazzling, soft and on of the best beaches in Prince Edward Island.

Me and my friend went to Brackley Beach and I think it’s a great place to go for a walk or bike ride also there is a gift shop or canteen along with restrooms and changing rooms.

Brackley Beach had National Park staff there teaching me about the formation of mounds and how not to damage them, as well as what marine life can be found in the local waters.

Shaw’s Hotel and Cottages: Shaw’s Hotel has great service and I stayed right at the lodge, the room was very comfortable, and very beautiful with an old building, but very well maintained and near best beaches in Prince Edward Island.

3. North Rustico Beach

North Rustico Beach is a beautiful beach and can be accessed via the National Park trail or via the sandy path closer to the jetty and here Parking is limited but most people park in the pier area or near the restaurant.

I was blown away when I came to North Rustico Beach by the red rocks, beach sand and I enjoyed a great walk on the beach and there were lots of birds flocking and swooping along the beach putting on a great show.

North Rustico Beach has the most beautiful wildflowers on the way from the parking lot to the beach and here the water is very clean but a little on the cooler side, the calm waters of the bay are perfect for children plus there are red cliffs on the left side adding to the beautiful view of the best beaches in Prince Edward Island.
