Courteous staff. Knowledgeable, suggestions were on point.
Caring personality food was great. Neighbors said try the hamburger best in town. For a seafood restaurant, Yes fantastic hamburger with bacon and slim sliced dill pickle. SuperbBy Wesley Porter (a year ago)My high school class of 1966 have been having our Christmas luncheon here for several years. However because of the pandemic we missed last year. We were so excited to be there again and looking forward to next year.
Nevertheless, the food is always awesome, fresh, well seasoned,, timely served and soo good. The portions are unbelievable (kids or adults). The Prices are Right. The service is friendly, quick and timely for a party of 15. We had reserved the private room, so everything and everyone were accommodating.By Ida Thompson (a year ago)We had a late lunch here, was our first time. So we tried it since ratings were good (4.5). We order a 3 way combo. The oysters and crab claws were fresh! I am not a fan of their breading for the shrimp, crab claws and oysters. It was too salty and too gritty. The whole catfish and shrimp weren’t fresh at all. If it’s not good and fresh I do not recommend that any restaurant serve it. The big shrimp had me fooled. They looked good but they were bland and overcooked. Grits were good! Service was good as well.By Tanya Williams (3 months ago)Love the grilled Striped Pang…(white fish similar to Grouper) and the grilled shrimp! God sized portions. What I don’t like are the steps to the bathrooms. I’ve seen people nearly fall; they need a ramp. The restaurant needs updating. Service is pretty good. You will pay $10 for a burger with no fries.By Kathy McDonald (3 months ago)The best seafood I’ve had in a long time! The shrimp was my favorite part of the meal. You definitely get your money’s worth. Four star because the order out side dish containers are very small.By Lovinlivinlyfe 4lyfe (6 months ago)

They were short on staff. Our server did his best to take care of us. We didn’t get refills on our drinks. I got the whitefish and cajun fries. It came with a little cup of coleslaw. It was okay. My husband on the other hand ordered one of the boils, he enjoyed it.
My husband said he would go back to try another boil. I would choose to go somewhere else.By KL Dice (4 months ago)Great place for enjoying southern boil. Absolutely enjoyed it.I really loved the ambience and the decor of the restaurant. It’s amazingly clean and looks great. Our host was really sweet. We ordered the half pound shrimp(headless) boil and a chicken tender basket, with onion rings. The menu stated that we could substitute the sides in the chicken tender basket but I was charged extra for the onion rings. Maybe I read the menu wrong, but that’s alright. The shrimp boil was amazing. The cajun seasoning was just awesome. The potatoes tasted amazing. The shrimp were big and juicy. I could taste the garlic, butter, the lemon and all the goodness of the boil. It was great. The chicken tenders were great too. They were a little dry to my preference but the flavors were great. The cajun fries was okay. The onion rings was the highlight. I am not a big fan of onion rings but they were awesome and although I had to pay extra for them, I am glad I ordered them. They were really crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. It was great. The sauces were amazing, too. Our host was kind enough to bring us all three different ones and they were awesome.
We really enjoyed our experience at King Claw, Thomasville. The restaurant is really clean including bathrooms which were kept super clean. I appreciate that. I would definitely go back again to try other boils on the menu.
By Deepak KC (5 months ago)It was my third time here and I know when something is over cooked, undercooked or not cooked at all. It wasn’t packed at all but it was karaoke night and so forth. The boom boom tacos was great! We both got boils and it was okay. The cheesecake …. 😴 I can say the legs were a lil overcooked! Everything was okay this time.By Rene Parker (3 months ago)The food was remarkable but with the exception for the wings, they were saturated in oil, and was not drained of the cooking oil before placing on the plate, the wings were grease….. The hospitality from our host, Zadiah, was beyond normal hospitality and recognition needs to be extended from King Claw…..By Deanna M. Williams (a year ago)Did not know they specialize in Boils. I had the crawfish, shrimp, sausage. Excellent.. Excellent.. the only issue I had was only 3 taters came in the bag. Half pound of shrimp, half pound sausage, half pound of crawlies and 3 little taters… atleast 5 PO TAY TOES… it was really good though. Nice interior. Enjoy.By herbert chastain (4 months ago)

Highly recommend! Their food is consistently EXCELLENT! Best Cajun Shrimp 🍤 and Grits I’ve ever had! I try them every where we go. Jonah’s is a must try restaurant in Thomasville. The staff is always delightful. The outdoor seating is great when the weather allows.
Cute little place in Thomasville. The ambience on the outdoor seating feels romantic and relaxing. Staff was very friendly and we got our orders very quick. The hush puppies were enormous and very tasty! We had the cyclone shrimp, the classic shrimp and grits and the Grouper tasso and they were all seasoned and cooked perfectly! Overall, it was a great experience and I will be back again to try other things on the menu.
Fish and grits were delicious. We stopped here on the taste of thomasville tour and would definitely come back for a full meal! The hush puppies were massive but somehow very moist all the way through. Just a side not Jonah’s is first come first serve so get there early!!
VERY effective and efficient resturant!! From check-in to leaving, everyone was very courteous. Hannah greeted us and answered our questions about the menu while we waited to be seated. Kayla was the most gracious server. Sarah even checked on us to ensure we were pleased with our meal.
We live an hour away and were always hesitant taking the drive despite the rave reviews. Honestly I’m picky about seafood but I can say 1. It’s worth the drive and brief wait 2. Come hungry or be prepared to take a box home 3. Know you will enjoy and pay excellent prices for what you receive!! This was our first visit but we will be back.
I’ve been here twice and will brave this alcohol-free restaurant anytime for the food! The shrimp and scallops pesto pasta is tasty and enough for 2-3 meals. The shrimp and grits are delicious and the gingersnap salmon is the best salmon I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time – cooked just right (I hate when it’s overcooked and rubbery) and the crust is surprisingly perfect with the salmon!
Their hush puppies are the best I’ve eaten and the peanut butter pie for dessert is delicious if you like a good chocolate ganache!
