  1. Such a beautiful beach, very sandy and long to walk along. There’s a section on the beach for dogs which makes it great for dog owners to let dogs play in the sea and sand. There’s a wide range of things to do along the sea front including punch and Judy stand near the clock tower end. Such a amazing beach well maintained by the Dorset Council.

  2. Weymouth is a seaside town in Dorset. It is situated in what can be described as a sheltered bay at the mouth of the River Wey. Having visited both Bournemouth and Poole over the years, I felt it was time to visit Weymouth and I was pleasantly surprised. Positioned halfway along the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site, it is a fascinating area. Transport around the area is regular and frequent and can highly recommend the Jurassic Coaster tour bus as a way of exploring the immediate area.
The beaches were clean and family friendly and the local shops cater for all needs and requirements.
    A most enjoyable seven days.

  3. Beautiful beach. I especially like it because is just next to the city. 1 side Is a relaxing fishing harbour and another side a busy beach with lots of arcade and fish and chips. Lot to do with kids. You can park all day if you follow the beach road until the end but you may need to wake-up early. 😉🏖☀️

  4. Amazing wide and long beach with an outstanding view.
The water is shallow, gradually sloping. Golden sand beach, which changes to shingle as you walk towards Greenhill beach.
Lots of attractions including amusement park, trampoline, pedal boats and so on.
Many restaurants and coffee shops to choose from nearby.
Plenty of public toilets available and few shower stations.

  5. Great place for families, lots of shops, restaurants and a little fair for children to enjoy 😄. The water is nice and clean, loads of people in the water doing all sorts of activities. The water was really shallow when we was there. There is always something to do in the area.
I would recommend this beach to anyone we enjoyed it and love it here.

This is one of my favourite sand beaches in the south of England.
Soft, white sand and clear water. you can rent the boat here to enjoy a good sunny day. it is also a good place to have a long walk to explore the natural beauty from one end to other end. I would highly recommend this beach .

Parking: It has a huge and easy paid parking but gets full very fast so plan accordingly. Near by seafront parking.

Toilets: toilets and showers are nearby the beach with dog washing facilities.

Great sandy beach. On a sunny weekend one should visit as early as possible or the car park gets full very quickly. Stretch of the beach is very long and you may find may entrances to it.
Beach is very clean, water is transparent and clean, it’s fun to be in the water or just on the beach doing your favourite leisure activity.
We had food from Jazz Cafe which was not bad. There are good toilet and shower facilities. There is one more shop who sells wetsuit, sea toys and rents Sup.
    Overall a great experience.

Loved it! We visited for the first week in July 2022. The weather was kind and the clear sea was calm and refreshingly cold. The beach and promenade were fantasticly clean and well kept. We hope to return!

In the local area this is by far the best water and best sand. It’s a bit separate from the town so it’s best for a day on the beach rather than a couple of hours. There is a drinking water filling station, dog washing station and plenty of toilets. Only limited food and ice cream shops compared to the size of beach. Car park is the same as others in the area, cash only or RingGo.

    Overall my favorite beach.

A lovely beach that is clean right down to the sand. The toilets are well maintained and there is a nice cafe plus a takeaway shop if you don’t feel like cooking. The parking is also convenient with pay-by-app in use here.

Loved it, we last came here when our children were young. About 25 years ago. It’s just as I remember it. Some of the shops have changed and there is more food outlets. But it’s still a beautiful beach, that hasn’t changed. There was a busker there, he was really good.

My favourite beach in the whole world! Lovely traditional English seaside. A firm family fave. Been visiting regularly for years! Safe swimming with both sandy and pebble beach.

One of my favourite places! Everything you could want – sandy beach, amusements, plenty of food places, fossil hunting, shopping just off the beachfront, plenty of parking (when it’s not school holidays!), Lots of toilets with closing times clearly displayed (including a gender inclusive toilet block), beach huts you can hire privately, a small aquarium. Can’t recommend it enough!

A lovely coastal town. Not too busy this time of year. Plenty to do from crazy golf to enjoying fish and chips on the front. Not for the faint hearted though as although the sea front is on a fairly flat level, the town and main car park is on a very steep hill. Totally worth it though. Always kept very clean and tidy so inviting to locals, day trippers and locals alike.

What can I say. Such a beautiful little coastal town. Has a mix of Sand and Pebble beaches. Loads of Bar and Restaurants to choose from along with beach side Huts and Shops selling a wide variety of different things. Only thing I’d pre warn people about is firstly the Seagulls. Turn your back for a second and they’ll be flying away with your food. And secondly it’s the prices. Most bars averaged around £6 a pint. Not sure if all parking charges are the same in the area. But we paid £1.50 per hour near the harbour. Which I didn’t think was to bad.

There were more place to explore west bay. But i couldn’t spent more time over here. I just spent only one day. It was really outstanding day for me. Love this place. Beach, sunset, food.. love it

Great place to visit/stay. If your kids like fishing or crabbing, this is the place to go. There’s a lot of places to visit. There’s a lot of parking spaces. You can go canoeing on the river or just have a go with the rowing boat. If you’re into walking/hiking, you can climb/trek the majestic sandstone cliffs and the Golden Cap.

The Espanade is excellent there is so much to see, just sitting and watching the world go by makes the day restful no hustle bustle, just slow and easy. The sea shows how powerful nature is, yet peaceful.

Very nice place for family. Very short walk to the beach. Coarse sand beach ground with little scatarred gravels and rocks. My kids loved this place although the water is a bit cold compared with durdle door beach (the natural arch side). Chargeable parking 8am-6pm.

A great sandy beach with gorgeous views of Bournemouth, the Isle of Wight and Old Harry Rocks. Lots of parking which is free for National Trust members. Studland Watersports also offer kayak hire, which we would definitely recommend!

One of my favourite beaches in the uk…clean and family friendly, dogs allowed, well manage by the National trust with good parking. Excellent scenery, sand dunes and safe water, with water sports, cafe, toilet facilities and even though it can be busy theres plenty of room.

Studland National Trust beach is one of the best. Views towards Harry’s rocks. Lovely sand, gentle entry to sea for children and water sports available too. Dog friendly too!

One of our favourite beaches, great sand, water sports and good walking trails. Easily reached by open topped double decker bus from Bournemouth or Swanage. Café, toilets, boat hire all available. National Trust members can park for free. It is very popular so get there early if planning to park or it will be full.
