5 Replies to Exhibition & Convention Centers in San Francisco CA

  1. Fit for purpose (it’s huge) but on a global scale of conference centres I wouldn’t say it’s particularly special or 5*.
It’s mostly just VERY well located!

  2. Been coming to the Moscone Center for quite a long time for conferences and recently, I was here for the AWS Summit. Especial thanks and kudos to all of Moscone’s excellent staff who have always been so kind, eager to always genuinely help and provide clear directions regardless what type of conference is happening. For parking, I suggest the 5th Mission garage which is only a few blocks away.

    Cheers!

  3. Very well stagged and superbly organised. I visited for Dreamforce in 2022 and used the west and south centre mainly. High recommend.

  4. Huge conference center, with a lot of buildings. Visited it for Dreamforce and everything was nice and comfortable.

Amazing venue with an incredible view of the Golden Gate! Spacious and appreciated access to the coat storage area for hidden storage for my friend’s event. Parking was tricky but did appreciate that they let us reserve 10 spots for immediate family and vendors. Already looking for an excuse to go back.

Lovely place, can get windy at times. Parking is challenging..

At times are kind of industrial place and be dirty on some of the streets..

Fun place to hangout in the morning

This a great place to catch a concert. The policy is that you must be vaccinated and boosted so deal with it. There is bar area for all the booze you need. There is standing area or first come first served seating. The staff is all friendly and helpful. For my show, The War On Drugs were amazing .

It was amazing seeing all .y favorite djs and bands here at Bill Graham auditorium. I have had so much fun meeting up with friends here and making memories. I’ve been coming here for over 5 years now and I will always return for their concerts here. I recommend this place for any artist who wants to perform here and to anyone looking for a getaway ✨✨✨

I’ve been to so many great shows at Bill Graham and I’ve always had such an amazing time. Lines into the venue are always fast, bar lines are fast, and food is is surprisingly quite good when you’re in need a little something for the show. It’ll be hard for another venue of this size to compete with my experiences here.

Just went to the Zedd concert and I wanted to shout out the security guards and workers. We were at the very front and witnessed them all working hard and collaborating to ensure we had a fun and safe concert. Probably one of the best experiences I’ve had with a venue. They also made sure we were drinking water.

    Thank you!!!

This year was the best Grand National Rodeo in a very long time! The place was packed both nights, beautiful vendor booths all over, and what a show!!!! We attended on first responders night and it was such an honor. The announcer and the clown did a heck of a job keeping us entertained. The anthem singer Sofia Claire was amazing, and The Flying U did not disappoint in the least with all their participants providing breath taking exhibits on horses and bulls! The staff should be so proud. I have been attending since I was a kid, and the energy they brought back to this event was one for the books!

What took me to the Cow Palace was the Charles Dickens Christmas Fair which is more magical than ever. It is holiday magic extraordinaire! The parking lot is expensive – $15 , but street parking can be found.

Fun at the Dicken’s Fair. Subdued lighting makes you feel like stepping back in time. Many shows to see. Time machine great deal at $5 for pictures. Food and spirits too.

Great venue for this huge Burning Man art car party – Mayan Warrior. The place turned into an extraordinary display of light and sound.

    Beautiful event.

Just that the food booths were not good. My kids ordered the pizza. Pretzel with cheese, polish dog and it was all stale.

    Would not recommend the food.

Reviews complain about the location, but honestly.. that’s San Francisco! The hotel has staff posted at the door which is cool. I felt just as safe walking around this hotel as I did everywhere else in the city. We were a little shocked to see the size of the rooms and kept cracking jokes about it our whole trip. Maybe have some disclaimer on the website so it doesn’t catch people off guard? Getting food in the breakfast area was a little cramped but there was lots of seating. Next refurb, I’d recommend they take the “breakfast buffet” out of that small little area and place it in a more open section of the of the floor. Staff were all really nice. Overall great stay and would come back if the price was right.

Great location with good price because it is in downtown San Francisco. It is also within walking distance to the conference I was attending, only 1.5 block away!

Inside the hotel is clean, bright, well maintained. I was able to use exercise room, lobby coffee area, and breakfast room everyday that I was there.

Room with a view is a plus and well worth the money. It was clean and good size given real estate is expensive here.

Yes, there is homeless outside of the hotel but that is a city problem. The hotel requires key entry after certain hours and key entry to ride up the elevator. I felt safe walking around in the area.

Public transportation is good in the inner city. Recommend to use BART to com into the city. Walk everywhere and use public transportation. Don’t rent a car!

Overall our stay at this hotel was great considering the price-point. The location is just off of Market St. and very close to lots of shopping and restaurants (though much of downtown closes around 6 p.m. during the weekdays). There is definitely room for improvement with the rooms though as our king bed had queen-sized sheets on it, which were impossible to keep on longer than a few minutes, especially because the size of the room didn’t leave anywhere to sit other than on the bed. It’s a great quiet hotel though and the complimentary breakfast definitely helped us save a few dollars over the course of our stay. If you stay here, definitely check out the roof!

Stayed May 2022. The room was modern but VERY small. No closet or anywhere to hang clothes/jackets. The rooms had a bed, desk, nothing extra.

Service was great. Everyone at the front desk was super friendly and helpful.

Housekeeping upon request. Rooms were clean but linens/towels were a bit worn and stained. Our bed didn’t seem to be made correctly with no top sheet, only the quilt (no duvet cover) and a sheet on top. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet with no street noise or noise from other rooms/hallway which was great.

The location was ok – Close to downtown and shops but was borderline sketchy area. We felt safe walking, however I wouldn’t want to walk solo at night.

Overall a pretty good hotel. However for the price would look at other hotels.

Location is close to the BART. Restaurants and shops within walking distance.Rooms are a bit small, and the ac/compressor is LOUD. Shower dripped a lot , and you had to get it just right to shut off perfectly. They might have tried to get a little too fancy with the shower fixtures. Great views. Good breakfasts offered for free downstairs between 6-10am. Beds not too comfy but they were ok. Staff was very nice

This is a wonderful facility. It is a good location in South San Francisco. and free parking. I was at the Community Youth Center gala. The food was fantastic. I never had filet so tender.

Attended a convention for cards and collectibles here, easy to get to, pretty large space for about a dozen vendors and several celebrity signing tables. Easy walk to fast food places. Not a big parking lot but folk were able to park at the hotel next door. The event brought in a food truck too.

Big, lots of parking. The expo I went to here was large but the space was organized well. Not a ton of natural light. The lady’s bathroom stalls are ratchet. The doors don’t close and swing open even when locked.

Came out of town to a conference. It’s conveniently located on 10th, a mere block or two from the 12st Station BART.

The actual conference center is alright but it’s not huge. The rooms were crowded and the workshops suffered because of this.

DevWeek had a hiring mixer in the big expo room and (DevWeek) brought in some nice stadium flood lights. That was good.

Too bad beers were $8, because it’s really just Marriott spiking these prices. There’s also a nice restaurant up stairs for casual food

I empathize with police, especially as a believer in 2nd amendment and yet a country overrun by guns. They inevitably become violent because they are met with violence. Oakland us a disaster of a city with limited resources and brazen property and violent crime throughout the city on a constant basis.

That said, all of the reviews on here are true. 5 minutes wait for 911, on three separate occasions. Non emergency line answered once immediately, on 4 other occasions was on hold 45 minutes before giving up.

Located my laptop and AirPods using location services 3 hours after the in-house criminals smashed my window on a busy street in downtown while I picked up a food order, 8 minutes home in total. Brazen. Police report filed online only. No mobile site.

I stalk the encampment where my stuff is and call dispatch to send an officer. Waited 3 hours, a cop drives by in what appeared like “I went there and he wasn’t there manner,” despite my giving a clear description and being very prominently and unavoidably positioned.

It’s a convention center with a plenty of rooms large and small. A comfortable auditorium. Really easy access to Bart so you don’t ever have to park. Nice places to eat lunch locally if the catering doesn’t work for you. Hotel for travelers is good too.
