Great products but I will not order online any more. They shipped me the wrong products and will not let me return the items in store for a refund since it is not what’s on my receipt. No one seems to want to help and I get the run around between Children’s Place and the shipping company they use, LaserShip. I placed a large online order for a child with medical disabilities that I sponsored for the Holiday season that is in need. I received an email that my order was delivered at 4:19pm on 10/26 however it was only 10am when I received this email on the 26th. I immediately on 10/26 emailed Children’s Place as an inquiry to my delivery since this was odd to me. As of today (11/1) I still have not received any response back from them. I contacted customer service the next day (10/27) and informed that I never received my package. They stated that since it is showing delivered in their system I have to contact LaserShip and have them investigate and that I will then need to provide proof to Children’s Place from LaserShip that there was an issue with the delivery prior to them being able to do anything. So I contacted LaserShip to be told by the automated system that due to the call volume I will need to go the their website and submit an email regarding my package I never receoved. I submitted an email and no one has got back to me so I contacted Childrens Place again today and informed of my issue again and then how I submitted an email per LaserShip processes and was told again by the customer service rep that because their system is showing the package is delivered they can not do anything about it and that I have to have the proof from LaserShip that there was an issue with my package once they speak to the delivery driver….even though in their system is shows delivered as well but no one seems to think that it is odd that I received an email at 10am that my package had been delivered at 4:19pm when that timeframe was still hours away. Not happy! I have been shopping at this place for years and then the first time I have an issue no one wants to do anything about it and now the child I sponsored that is in need will not be able to receive these items and I am out $100. I went to Children’s Place to exchange a pair of leggings and return 2 Halloween shirts. They didn’t have another pair of leggings in the right size. Alex waited on me and she was efficient, polite and went out of her way for me. The entire Florence Mall is just sad-many empty storefronts, areas are dirty and in poor repair, dark, and, honestly, not very safe feeling. This store was dark as well as crowded with merchandise that didn’t even allow free movement. The staff were dressed unprofessionally and the whole place was just depressing. All I can say is WOW! I cannot remember a good experience I have had it with shopping in the store 😢. I am a mom of twins, business owner, and a military wife. I misplaced a receipt, and they treated me like I was a felon. I was unable to return or exchange my items, so I left the store. This is after I spent over 10 minutes on the phone while in their store, speaking with their Customer Service rep (spoke broken English) who told me I could return the items. I showed up tonight 12/11/18 and the doors were locked at 8:57 PM. When I asked if they were closed, a tall African-American lady, popping her gum, roughly 45 years old, pointed to her watch. I showed her my AT&T phone with the time that it was not yet 9:00. She shook her head no at me. I am just in shock that these people turn away business like this. I cannot imagine treating my clients this way! You’ve lost my business.
I am a huge TCP shopper but I absolutely hate stepping foot in this store. It is always a mess with clothes and shoes all over the counters and in plastic totes in the aisles. It is a safety hazard to have fixtures everywhere and definitely not accessible to the disabled. It always looks like it’s in the middle of a floor set. The associates are rude and look like they wish they were somewhere else.
The line was literally wrapped around the store. Noticed 3 other workers in the store but not once did anyone else open a register. Stood in line for 15 to 20 minutes just to check out. At one time noticed one worker chit chatting, leaning on counter talking and looking at something on cellphone. Not cool.
If I could give a negative rating I would. Went in and was automatically bombarded with questions about the store card. I told them no thank you cause my credit isn’t the best and ive been working on it. Well I was asked 3 more times when I finally had to give a firm no. I just went in for a couple things for a gift and can’t even shop without being harassed.
Not only can you not walk through the store but they have everything blocked to where you can’t try clothes on your littles. I was told to buy the clothes and take them to a family restroom and bring them back to return if I needed too! Joke! Need more quality shopping choices for kids in Lexington.
