5 Replies to Large and In Charge: The 5 Largest Walmart Locations in Kentucky

  1. I like this location much more than others closer to my house. The selection is better. I went to buy groceries and on my way to register I stopped by clothing and found some garments discounted which I didn’t want to pass on. I found two 3XL dresses ($5.00 each at register) which translates to two unique summer skirts ( I’m either small on women’s and medium or large in juniors). A yellow mustard color dress (also $5.00) whith a smart feature (the top portion of the dress, expands!!👏). And last, I allowed myself to venture into a crop top and skirt set…very sexy😜

  2. I’ve been in many Wal-Marts and this one in particular was huge with a nice large varation in products. Nice and clean with friendly employees.

  3. Well I m haven’t been inside in a long time. But I use the pickup. And they have done great with my list, and the associates always have been friendly when bringing my things to the van. I really do appreciate this option!

  4. Walmart is so expensive I bought so little this morning and it was over $118… Walmart is far from the cheapest! They was trashing Easter isles for summer seasonal items. The store is always so messy and not a shopper friendly!

  5. Clearance isle was week compared to surrounding area Walmart’s. And the garden wagon selection was a major letdown.

This Walmart looked pretty charming on the exterior with all the windows, something you don’t really see that often. However the inside wasn’t really that clean. There was trash in the produce section, a rotten bottle of juice, and let’s not talk about the bathrooms. I literally had to walk around urine splattered all around the urinals. The trash was overflowing, and there was tp all over the floor. Poor sanitation overall, and they need to do a better job with keeping the store clean. All the employees talking outside could put in a little more effort on their respective shifts to make the shopping experience a little cleaner.

Not many complaints from my visit. A couple of items had been opened with the contents taken, but aside from that, just a regular Walmart. Seemed clean to me too. Decent coffee selection (which was the main purpose of this Walmart visit). Can’t forget the sugar cookies!

Nice selection but needs way more mechanical carts or wheelchairs. Every time I go there are 3 working and the rest are down. Those 3 are always taken. A store this size needs far more than they have. Pickup/delivery is great when they have what you ordered, but they rarely do substitutions. This is frustrating. It takes a week to get my money back. That’s ridiculous. Don’t do delivery for afternoon. You won’t get it until the next day.

I go out of my way to avoid having to go here if possible, even if I have to pay more else where, I will still try not to shop here. Really it’s walmart I’m general but i have been to some really nice ones so I can say this location specifically needs improvements. Cleaner for one, better produce and meats and for the love of God please have more than one cashier.

I bought my husband and I Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet with my tax returns. We have been waiting to get it when we knew we had the money for essentials as well. We got home and opened the cases(they were wrapped in the plastic so we didn’t think anything was wrong with it) only to find that the cases were empty. Where the cartridge sits the bottom was coloured black to make it seem like the game was in there when it wasn’t. We immediately went back and went to customer service. We explained to them what had happened and they made it seem like it was ok. They took our empty cases saying they were going to go get our games. We got excited cause I spent over $120 on these games. Then we were told that since the cases were opened they could not do anything else for us. They refused to give us the games and also refused to give me my money back. They refused to let us talk to the GM in person but the employee that did talk to her for us said that the GM said that she wasn’t going to do anything for us, that it wasn’t something she had the authority to do. They said we would have to repurchase the games(meaning we had to spend another $120) I will no longer be buying expensive things from this location.

Horrible experience long wait lines to check out service members just in their phones plenty of help bad management only registers open where self check out took 30mins to check out one item photo shows all registers closed at the hipe of the evening at 7pm December 15th each self checkout had approximately 15 or so people waiting

Usually always has what we want. But the lines to cash out are ridiculously long. That would be my only complaint. Occasionally they don’t have my cereal. If they don’t have the peach cobbler Pop-Tarts anymore. I wish they had those two items every time I go to the store. I go to the store once a week. This stuff is usually knowledgeable. I wish they still had where you could check the price instead of having to find a person to check the price.

Returned an item & the lady at the counter couldn’t have been nicer & helpful. I then did my grocery shopping. Don’t care for self service checkout but a worker named James helped me with the heavy stuff.

Prices too high for having to do my own check out . If we have to do the work why not give us a discount on all the products but no the big wigs at Walmart have to have their profits and to hell with the customers . Sam Walton is probably spinning in his grave .

The renovations are wonderful but our elderly need help checking out. They shouldn’t be directed after asking for help to a self check out and then told “their Momma won’t always do for them.”
