As a former retail area supervisor & merchandising & training manager for many years, & eventually going on to own a store of my own. I really tried to find something positive to say but this truly has to be the worst group of employees in one place that I have ever encountered.
I stood at the register waiting to checkout for at least 8 minutes & the 2 employees behind the counter looked at me with this bundle of merchandise in my arms & COMPLETELY IGNORED ME!! They were both speaking very inappropriately and just laughing & making rude comments about another employee.
I did find some really cute items after digging for a while. The condition of the store was almost as horrible as the staff. PLEASE consider starting from scratch with this location.
I know many of my friends, myself included (customers) would like to return. Many of us are new grandparents that love to shop for our grand babies. However; prior BAD experiences have made this location UNDESIRABLE.
If I could make this one suggestion: Please send help!!😩 to hire a new staff and teach them how to merchandise a store & keep it clean and organized but most of all please teach them good customer service skills.

To the right of that sign is there stores sign saying they open for 10. So I guess there making up their own hours now? Trash! The employees should go through more training. I was returning a pair of too small pants. Unworn and tags intact and even had the receipt. All I wanted was to exchange for an even exchange. Nope. I missed the return by ONE day and they had the nastiest attitude about it. Most retail stores it’s at the discretion of the manager to override considering it was only one day. But it’s okay. I suggest you have a return take it back the exact same day you notice they item doesn’t fit. My mom placed an order online. The first order was in our names but we didn’t have time to pick the order. So we sent my boyfriend to pick it up. By him not being on the order as a pick up person they couldn’t release the order. Which is understandable. So whoever I spoke with then said to cancel, then re order with his name and they would have the order ready. Well… we did that but now it’s a problem cause it takes “2-3 days” for the order to process, which makes no sense cause it’s a same day pick up order. So she called and spoke with a manager, but while she was on hold 2 young girls picked up and had gotten rude and disrespectful to her and said “we had said that your order ain’t ready yet” and proceeded to laugh. Not know that she knew that and had been on hold for the manager to cancel original order for her. This will be the last time we order or shop from this location. Not only did they disrespect my mom and got her out of her character, (which she was still somewhat professional), but they were rude and unprofessional. The manager did what she could but we still don’t have our product. Which by the way are 3 school pants for my 5yr old pre-kindergartner. This place is not great. I would not recommend it. Employees aren’t helpful. One was own her phone the whole time. The store is dirty and overcrowded with racks and bins on the floor. One of biggest frustrations was trying to navigate the store with a stroller, which I’m sure a good number of people who shop here would try to do as well. It was incredibly difficult as so much stuff was in the way! This is no way to run a business.
The store was supposed to be open by 10am. I was there at 11 but was not open. Checked back in an hour and still no one there. Tried calling several times on different days and no one answers.
If I could leave a review with no stars and still be able to post I would. This was my family’s first Children’s Place experience. It was my toddlers first time being fitted for uniforms. The store was a complete wreck, merchandice and trash all over, only one dressing room which contained a stack of a 3ft high pile of previously tried on clothes in it (all items were on the floor), multiple racks of miscellaneous clothes that were mismatched throughout the store, their additional dressing room was being used as a storage, and zero assistance from the employee’s. Mind you we got their about 20 minutes after the store opened on a Saturday so it wasn’t like they were bombarded with weekend shoppers and couldn’t keep up. I would NOT recommend the Corprate Blvd location. We got an idea of my daughter’s size and ordered everything online. I will not support a business that is careless and run down. From the outside of the building it looked great but inside it was like we were in another part of Baton Rouge. I hope this review saves someone gas money and headache. Happy online shopping!
Would leave 0 stars if I could! Horrible customer service, never answer the phones. Store is always a wreck. Order shipped to store now lost.. ridiculous.
0 stars!!! Why is this place still open! No one is ever here. You have to wait over an hour to pick up an order! You have to type you name in someone cell phone. Store is so trashy and unorganized! I drive way to Gonzales to avoid coming here. You just never know what problem there will be! It’s always something. Don’t come here if you don’t have too!!!!
