  1. Not sure I understand the return policy. My wife returned Xmas presents with no receipt. She was told that the items are now in the sale rack which is not a problem. But then she was told that she will not be given store credit and must right now chose identical items from the sale rack meaning T-shirt for a tshirt or dress for a dress. Which is a little better at first she was told to find the identical product but a different size and under her breathe the sale associate said, “good luck with that, it’s a mess.” Is this the returned policy for the parent company?

  2. I love the clothes here but the staff is so incredibly rude and unhelpful. One of the male clerks acts like he’s doing you a favor by helping you check out. I think he actually sighed the other day when I asked him a question. It’s such a shame. I refuse to shop at the Dedham location going forward. The store itself feels dirty and unorganized as well. Also, the prices online are half the price as the store. The store will match the price however there is no cell reception in the store – the clerk told me it’s a dead cell phone zone ! Do youself a favor and shop online.

  3. Incredibly rude staff. There is an African American woman with dreads, I didn’t catch her name on the name tag. I went up to the register and asked her to price something for me… she proceeded to point to the price scanner at the rear of the store. She wasn’t doing anything and could have easily checked the price for me. I ended up leaving the item. I hate her. She is always so damn rude and hate this location because of the staff! Do better with hiring people with some sense of customer service!

  4. The customer service is non existent in this store, there is no order in terms of lines, people are allowed to skip the lines depending on skin color, there is a lot of prejudice in this store especially from the African American toward myself a woman of color, I’m so glad I had a witness there to say I was actually first on line otherwise both her and the other lady would have treated me poorly, I asked how the line system works and the other white lady said it doesn’t matter, really!! That’s how you speak to a customer, very disgusting, last time I went there the other male associate was also rude. Nice store but rude people.

  5. Whats going on with these unfriendly ppl. The staff is beyond lazy. No one says hi or asks if you need help. Not a thank you or have a nice day or anything .
So bad and unconfortable experiemce. Not the way it used to be. Wont be returning .

Worse Costumer service, the manager doesn’t know how to talk to people and all she says is I don’t care.

It always looks messy plus it’s to small with the amount of clothes they sell the racks are so close to each other making shopping difficult to move around and you definitely can’t go in with a wheelchair or a stroller for shopping

I made a commitment once of never shipping at this store again. Today I decided to try again and got reminded why I made that commitment in the first place. The prices are okay, the products are fine but the staff that works there is simply the worst. They are rude and you get the feeling that they don’t want to be there, which I get, but the customers have no fault on that. I needed a simple thing, a gift receipt and the cashier didn’t ask if I needed it, and when I asked for it she said it was too late to do it and she would have to do a return procedure and then do it again. Couldn’t she have asked? I ended up deciding to take it as is, as it’s a present for a family member, I can give them the original receipt. This time I will follow through with my commitment of never stepping foot in this store again.

The Children’s Place is a great place to buy clothes for the little ones, but this particular store I did not like at all. The main reason is because the isles are so small! It is impossible to use a baby stroller in there. I feel like a children’s store should definitely be stroller-friendly. The day I went, it was also very messy with clothes on the floor. (Not sure if it is always like that.) I will not be returning to this location.

The staff is the worst specially the red hair lady don’t shop at this store unless you want to be looked down on. I gave it 1 star should be 0.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! Go in store and get what you need/want. Only placed 2 online orders the first one was delivered to my home the 2nd was an in-store pick up. 3 out of my 18 items where missing. The store being that it was an online order told me to call customer service as they could not help. Called customer service, and because I ordered with my Children’s place charge card. Customer service stated to call the charge card bank. Which absolutely made no sense. They can not replace items only dispute charges. Which I mentioned to the customer service agent and was still told to call the bank. Not trying to stick them for items under $20.00 just want my items! There are cameras instore, I have a dash cam and an inside truck cam also camera in and outside my home. We can run all those tapes back if they like!

I love the actual company! I will alway buy my kids clothes here but the store in the Holyoke mall, has the worst worker as a cashier. She acted as she didn’t see me waiting in line, then said I was to busy on my phone, while I was just waiting for help. Took 3 other people before me and just had an agreement with me. Sad part was my sister said something to me and I only responded to what she said. Horrible customer service. I have worked in retail and I would never make someone feel like trash.

Is there any particular reason why this stores always closes almost an hour early– fairly often??!! 2 times, in a 3 week period I rushed up there to grab something my grandson needed, or to pick up an order, only to find the lights all on, but doors locked! When I asked an associate one time about that, I was told if they are in the store alone, due to staffing shortage, then they have to close. Most times they will just give you a story on how the registers went down. Well people can still browse and put things on hold. No need to close for that reason, if its true.

I went with my baby to get some clothes in this store but the store located in Holyoke is not adapted to enter with children. being a children’s store. They don’t even have room for moms with strollers. and the cashiers always with attitude and they also ignore you seeing that you are ready to pay.🤦🏽‍♀️.

They don’t even have space to stand in line to pay for your products with so many things that they have in front of the cashiers.

Ordered online and delivery was never received. Been over 2 weeks since my reaching out and none of my inquiries have been attempted to be answered or solved.
Other stores handle same day or within the week of inquiry at least.

    Update:
From 10/13 to 12/17 still no items and the children’s place is not on the hook for a refund or replacement because the postal service delivers their products.
My $120 lost…. and right before the holidays to top it off!
Not happy and no longer a customer from here on out

Visited on Jan 2nd mid day. Doors were locked, no note on door. Left came back 1 hour later still locked up. Continued running more errands and came back and finally doors were unlocked. The girl working was extremely passive extremely and just plain out ignorant! She was also talking to her mother on the phone while checking people out. Would really like to speak to a manager about how bad my experience was.

This location is a nightmare. The store looks like it’s been looted, the employees don’t greet or ask if you need help. On one visit, it opened 20 minutes late. On another visit, there was a sign saying “be back in 15 minutes”. I waited a half hour and no one ever showed, so I left. How is this store still open?

Witnessed the horrific treatment per video of a mother and children!
The mother could not wear a mask for medical reasons and was harassed and was refused service.
The mom was physically upset and was physically shaking.
Horrendous treatment, feel so sad for that poor mom.
    Will never shop there.
By Lisa StPierre (a year ago)
Horrible waited in line for about 30 mins while one associate worked and helped another customer. I don’t mind if you help a customer but when you have 3 people waiting longer than I, you should be considerate and at least help in the front as well.

The staff was very rude and not helpful with the proper sizes that I needed. Instead of saying excuse me one staff member told me I was in the way and needed to move so she could finish her display. As a paying customer I have never been treated so poorly even the clerk at the register was rude.
