I’ve been shopping at The Children’s Place Snellville location for a little while. I must say, the store manager (Soli) has really turned this place around! The store is always clean, as fully stocked as possible and neat. They have helpful staff, especially Daisy! She is always incredibly patient and accommodating. Children’s Place is not a bad chain overall; unfortunately, this particular store is awful.
Firstly, they never have anything in stock. If I have to order online then I can do it from the comfort of my own home without coming here!
There is always a shortage of employees, and the ones who are here are rude or they do everything they can to avoid you and answer any questions.
I have tried giving them many chances, but the trip is just not worth it. I just left the store without completing my purchase. Two women were hogging up the cashier line for over thirty minutes, and sadly none of the employees here had enough common sense to open another register so that other people don’t have to wait.I don’t recommend this store, they don’t deserve even this one star.💩💩💩💩💩

(Door open means your open) She closeed and locked the door and proceeded to talk to me behind the door with a mask on. Terrible customer service. I asked her if there is store pick up options on line but your store is closed how do I get my items? With a mask on she tried to explain and pointed to a sign that says items in store will be shipped to your home.WHAT? The sales associates have negative attitudes, the store is often in disarray, and most days I can’t find what the website shows that they carry. Whoever does the ordering for the store needs to be reevaluated. The selection of available clothing is subpar. It’s truly disappointing because I enjoy shopping at Webb Gin and hate having to travel somewhere else for The Children’s Place. Save your time and just shop online. My daughter wouldn’t even stand on the floor to try on her clothes. There are stickers from the clothes stuck all over the floor that no one had bothered to clean up for who knows how long. There was trash, dirt and paper towels in the corners. When I told two cashiers, they just shrugged it off and said they’d get to it, like it wasn’t a big deal. OMG! Looked like a bomb went off trying to sift through things to find. It’s Christmas so that is understandable. It’s Christmas week, one cashier. Beyond stupid. Just close the store already. The workers are clueless standing around looking crazy. My 5 year old and 9 year old can clean up there rooms better than these adult people. Management seems clueless, who trained these people. There’s a guy there says he’s management and doesn’t seem to want to be there also not helpful and the store still looks a mess. I’ve only seen 2 people I’ve seen for quite some time there and that’s when I like to come the store is usually clean and there’s this Hispanic or fair skinned manager that’s singing and happy and normally working or helping customers I went in to look for her and she’s no longer there. There’s a tall darker skin women with short hair, really slim with Africa earrings because shes the only one who spoke or helped me last time I went in she’s always so sweet haven’t seen her either. Seems like they runnin all the good people off. Seems like I’m going to have to find a new store. Their new management seems to be clueless, I can never find anything, their not helpful, don’t seem to know what they can or can’t do. I was treated like a thief told by the cashier she cannot do anything if I dont have a reciept and told me to talk to the manager who didnt even speak to me she told her I had a return no reciept and she said NO! I told her I ordered the items online I dont have a reciept I had the package it was shipped in can they look it up with that info they told me call customer service and get a reciept. Okay what about the items I also purchased in store? It was only 6 items and I wanted a larger size for 3 of them if they had them. The pants still have the tags on them, I have my original receipt and I can provide the card the purchase was made on. Again, I did NOT want money back, just to do an exchange. I was told I could only exchange for the exact item… fine, but that item was not available in the same color. Accommodation would not be made for me to get the pants in a different color. Mind you I spent over $120 in the store that day and would of had no problem paying a price difference if there was one. I am now stuck with these pants I can do nothing with. I will not be shopping at these establishments again. Rude customer service and whoever manufactures the clothes has really downgraded in quality control. I purchased multiple uniform pants online for my son and was sent the wrong size so I went in person to get them exchanged for the right size. There wasn’t a fitting room available so I just exchanged them and brought them home and thats when I realized 3 out of 4 of them were miss labeled in size and when I tried to exchange them for ones that were labeled correctly they wouldn’t accept them because I washed them… the store isnt a short drive for me and is inconveniently inside the mall in a very congested area. The store is also very cramped and looks a mess every time I’ve gone. The special discounts as a card holder has its perks, and earning Place Cash is an awesome bonus for sure…ESPECIALLY since I have twin boys so I have to buy everything x2. Customer service is important to me. I’m not asking anyone to go above and beyond but the moment you walk in the store not one staff member acknowledged us. There was a total of 5 customers. When purchasing a few outfits for my granddaughter the cashier wouldn’t even look at me, and barely spoke to me. When I didn’t hear a question from her she then got an attitude and loudly repeated herself. I drove an hour and half to the mall and this is one of the specific stores we wanted to go to, never again will I return to this store.
Don’t even know where to begin! I have shopped here for years and the last few visits have been awful! The staff that works here is rude and unprofessional. 5 employees behind the counter talking about how they hate working there and talking bad about their co workers just disgusting. When going to check out nobody even said hi or looked you in the face. Then had an attitude when I turned down getting a credit card to save $8 and the other girl ringing up another customer bit the poor ladies head off for asking for a gift receipt after the fact. Flat out said with full attitude and eye roll “it would have been easier if you told me before”. I’m sure it’s covids fault some how cause that’s the new answer to everything. Just shop elsewhere is my answer.
Ordered some items and they never came. It was three weeks before I decided to check on my items; I know during the holidays packages take longer. I called the location and first they told me they were lost in transit. I never got a email or notification about it. Then they tell me, it’s just not in stock, not lost in transit. When I asked to exchange the items that were no longer in stock the manager said no, they would not accommodate. Very unprofessional, I won’t purchase from this location again. I promptly got my refund and I won’t spend a dime with the company anymore.
Rude staff. The sign on the sweat pants said 50% off, but the lady at the register said they were only 40% off, I bought them because it was only a 10% difference but when I walked past the sweat pants again I took a picture of the sign and told the lady she should probably fix her sign, she said she would be with me in a minute with an attitude
I was shopping at this location on mini vacation, I had made a large clothing purchase and some of my items did not make it into my bag. When I returned home to Canada. I noticed some items missing I contacted the store I spoke with manager Dawn. Whom was amazing! She completed her due diligence on her end and determine in fact I did not get all my items. DAWN took info on each item and was able locate my missing items and those that she couldn’t she gave me gift card for the value. She kept me informed about everything and was able to mail my missing clothing items to me in Canada. Although this wasn’t the experience I wanted with missing items the follow up and easy solution to fix the problem was what made this 5 stars! Manager Dawn is amazing!
