  1. Although I heard great things until recently I had personally not had an experience of my own here. As it is a child hospital my hopes are u never need to find out how great the staff here are. A few weeks ago we thought our teenage son fell Ill and everyone but myself thinking he had covid and not sure what it was myself we took him to the local ER and found out it was cancer. He was airlifted within an hr and we have been in this hospital since then. We have meet some very great staff members who give their all to care for the kids here. I hope my opinion remains unchanged and that when we finally leave we are cancer free and my son is able to post his own review. Have to remove a star as apparently there’s at least two workers that have issues with an adult sibling staying in support of their family, in our case both sick sibling and worried parents.

  2. All the staff I have interacted with are very kind and help out as much as they can. I came here for my now five week old daughter and everyone was so great with her. There was a night I was way too tired and could barley keep my eyes open and the nurses that were working told me they could help me with her that night or any other night if I need or want them to. Normally I wouldn’t have said that I wanted them to, but it was a long week and I just needed help. They worked with what milk I had pumped and fed her if I was asleep so I could rest or they would change her diaper because they know how exhausted mentally and physically I was. The cafeteria food is decent considering its hospital food, but there is many options to work with. I would say my stay here with my daughter made me less worried because everyone was so reassuring and helpful.

  3. My son was admitted here for 2 days. Everyone treated us with the up most respect. The Dr’s & nurses took great care of him and made him feel at ease. I have the upmost respect for every staff member there! I highly recommend this hospital!

  4. The doctors and nurses are incredible and very helpful.

However, I am frustrated with their parking pass policy. They only allow free parking for parents and grandparents. My little brother has special needs and has been in the hospital for over a week during the holidays from a brain surgery. Our mother passed away from cancer years ago and all but one grandparent has passed away. The one grandparent that is still living is not physically able to leave her home. My Dad has a bad knee and struggles getting around but has been staying in the hospital with my brother. I am driving 40 minutes to the hospital everyday to help bring my dad food because this hospital does not deliver food to the rooms. I have been denied free parking several times because I am a “sister”. When I basically take care of my brother like I am his mother.

    This rule needs to change.

” New facility open house ” so much bogger & better than old one ~ children should benefit. ( kinda along line of Operation Breakthru design yet smaller, more private scale)

Rude front desk/reception personnel; slow at return phone calls; facility is old, has an awful odor. Wouldn’t recommend this location for any therapy services.

-5 stars. What happened to this store??? It’s filthy, crammed and disorganized. I could barely squeeze through with all the tables and racks. Fire the buyer, the clothes are cheap. Fire the District Manager, no one is doing any work there!

Dirty, disorganized, and the signage is incredibly poor. I went in to pick up an online order and couldn’t believe the state it was in. Just buy online and have it shipped. My 2-year-old was touching the counters and fixtures and I felt like he needed a disinfecting shower when we left.

My review probably won’t make much of a difference if you see all the other 1 star reviews. I was hoping the store was such a mess due to lack of employees, but looks like it’s a regular thing for the store. What an absolute mess! I have never seen a Children’s Place look as bad as this one. One of the employees was sitting IN THE MIDDLE OF THE AISLE “working” and I actually had to step around her. No attempt to move. I know good help is hard to find right now, but this store should be shut down. What a horrible representation of a company. I would be embarrassed if I were the owner or manager.

I had the worst experience with pick up in store that I’ve ever had with any retailer. I came to pick up the order the manager had no idea were she placed it after she pulled it. No associate had any clue either so she says I can choose another shirt from the table that was a mountain of shirts. My daughter picked out the shirts online and I told her I’ll pay for them now so we can for sure have them but now they have gotten sold and no other stores have them in the area…I was willing to wait a few days but I looks like they are not coming in! What is the point of buying online and pick in store
By Montoya Perkins (3 years ago)
I went to the oak park mall location and was treated very rudely by someone named Kynzy. I was trying to exchange shoes that I bought online for a smaller size and a dress I needed a larger size. At first she said she would help me look in the store to see if they carried them. I told her I had already looked and didn’t see it. She just stood there and shrugged. My baby had started screaming at this point. I asked her if she could look up in the computer if they had them at all in stock on the front floor or in the back. She said she couldn’t do that. Fine. So I asked her to order it to the store and I’ll pick it up. She said they couldn’t do that either and pushed my items back across the counter toward me. She told me the only thing I could do was return the shoes and repurchase them online for 2x more than I paid since they were no longer on sale. I looked it up online and showed her the cost was way more. She just replied, “yes that’s the price”. I ended up exchanging them for a pair that was just ok and just took the dress home. Now I’m thinking I’ll return everything. Forget it. Why should I pay for products that I’m just settling for?

Very disappointed with this “customer service”. This lady offered to help me look at the beginning of our conversation but by the end of it she hadn’t moved from her register area. She completely shut me down and was very cold in attitude. Apparently Children’s Place will let you buy things online, but if it’s the wrong size you’re completely screwed. I’m not sure if it was the cashier or the company’s fault, but something here needs to change. More customer service training or a change in customer policy. Also, where was the manager? She didn’t notice I was having an issue?

I arrived at the store the same time the manager? did. Well after 10, but to my surprise, the store is not open. The website says it opens at 10. I like shopping early and was sadly disappointed. I’m guessing they don’t open until 11🤷🏽‍♀️

DISGUSTING, UNORGANIZED, UNSAFE- We were shopping for school clothes. Most of the sale items were not in stock in the larger sizes. That was disappointing. The workers seemed less than thrilled to be there. We needed to use a fitting room. We were helped by what seemed to be the only worker who was happy to be employed at that facility. He was very polite. He took us to a back room that I would’ve guessed to be a custodians closet if he hadn’t opened to door to prove otherwise. The fitting room, to absolutely no surprise to me, came with directions. He told me to hold my hand in the door as my child changed otherwise the door would lock and we would have to come find him in order to reopen the door…ummm I’m not really sure how to explain the questions that were going through my head after learning this. While I played the role of customer, mother, security guard, and door stop, I couldn’t help but notice the condition of the “hallway”? “loading station”? “dumpster”? Security obviously is not of the highest importance here. There were keys, phones, products, just left out in the open. Because I care for my family and my own safety, WE WILL NOT RETURN.

Service received here recently..HORRIFIC….I will not be returning to this location. I walked into the store and no one greeted us when we entered. When we did finally see an associate, the associate was playing their own music (which the music was fine) but, did not ask us if we found everything ok. The store is HIGHLY disorganized. It literally looked like someone came through and trashed the entire store. I have worked in retail and I get if there aren’t enough people but, that should not impact the service you provide to the people that walk through the door. I would give this store a 0 if I could. There were two associates so I’m going to assume they needed help. That’s fine, I understand. But, if you don’t want to be at work that day, don’t come. Let someone else who wants to be there and provide service do your job.

I love the store but not this location. Most of the employees are incredibly slow to help and rude. So far I’ve only met one girl there that was quick to help and she was stuck doing Everything even the managers were supposed to grab a order from the back for her and just left her hanging waiting over ten minute just for her to have to go to the back to get it herself. I wish I knew her name she deserves better.

Horrible customer service! No greeting upon arrival they acted as if they were mad we came in. Never do an exchange here. Instead of being honest about not knowing how to exchange items I bought offline in the store they jacked up the entire order. She did a return which I made her stop because I wanted to exchange. She than exchanged the little items I was able to find in the store. After her manager through my items in a box with an attitude! Packs everything up and says have a nice day. I said no the items that weren’t here I asked you to see were they available in near by locations. She than tells me “you can do that or you can just do an exchange online”. And I than stated no they will refund me no exchanges online she than argues with me. And I said you can call other locations that’s your job not mine. She finally calls tgt other stores for the items they didn’t have in this location and she has a attitude. They dont have any of the items near by she rings me out and than gets upset when I stepped aside to view my receipt which she rang up four items I didnt even return. I made her correct. I finally leave. Send my items back to the warehouse two and half weeks ago still no refund on my credit card! Yes refund brcabec like I told her they don’t do exchanges! Overall they need more space for registers and attitude adjustments and more training don’t waste your time here!

Today I called to inquire about their Jean selection for my daughter and DIAMOND answered the phone and she was super pleasant, professional and welcoming. This girl deserves a raise or even a higher position just for her customer service. It was a pleasure speaking with her. Super helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you for your service Diamond!!

I come in to the store on 9/26/20. I loved it in there. There was a manager by the name of kane! I was greeted as soon as i walked in the store. He asked me what department I was looking for!! The store really needed him it looks great. It was mostly stocked and I had no problem finding anything. I will definitely come back. I hope the same manager will be there he is very professional and very helpful!!!!!! Thank you

This is ABSOLUTELY the worst company to order online from. My order was cancelled 3 times for reasons that were unexplained. I spent almost $500 bucks on my order and due to them cancelling the order my money was tied up for 5-10 business days each time. I had to get a letter sent to my bank from children’s place just to release my funds. The only reason I did this was because my kids were going away for the summer and I though it would be convenient to have their clothes shipped directly to their grandparents house instead of shopping and packing. Clearly that is not the way to go. I had to order everything with Crazy 8 instead. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have never had my order cancelled on any online purchase after the money has already been pulled out of my account. They will not notify you before they cancel it. You will receive one email saying your order has been shipped and the next will say it is cancelled. Not to mention when I went back online the 2nd and 3rd time to re-order the items most of them were unavailable, so I could not get what I had originally ordered. WORST ONLINE EXPERIENCE EVER. DONT DO IT!!!!!

I visited the store yesterday. I came in and wasn’t greeted. There were clothes everywhere. There was too much stuff. I couldn’t really move around the store. It was just super messy and junkie. No one was professional. I couldn’t find anything that I was looking for. This store needs work.
