Worse Costumer service, the manager doesn’t know how to talk to people and all she says is I don’t care.By Marlene Salazar (5 months ago)It always looks messy plus it’s to small with the amount of clothes they sell the racks are so close to each other making shopping difficult to move around and you definitely can’t go in with a wheelchair or a stroller for shoppingBy Tina Cozzolino (10 months ago)I made a commitment once of never shipping at this store again. Today I decided to try again and got reminded why I made that commitment in the first place. The prices are okay, the products are fine but the staff that works there is simply the worst. They are rude and you get the feeling that they don’t want to be there, which I get, but the customers have no fault on that. I needed a simple thing, a gift receipt and the cashier didn’t ask if I needed it, and when I asked for it she said it was too late to do it and she would have to do a return procedure and then do it again. Couldn’t she have asked? I ended up deciding to take it as is, as it’s a present for a family member, I can give them the original receipt. This time I will follow through with my commitment of never stepping foot in this store again.By Cibelly Aguiar (3 years ago)The Children’s Place is a great place to buy clothes for the little ones, but this particular store I did not like at all. The main reason is because the isles are so small! It is impossible to use a baby stroller in there. I feel like a children’s store should definitely be stroller-friendly. The day I went, it was also very messy with clothes on the floor. (Not sure if it is always like that.) I will not be returning to this location.By Kamila F (5 years ago)The staff is the worst specially the red hair lady don’t shop at this store unless you want to be looked down on. I gave it 1 star should be 0.By jose aguilar (2 years ago)

I when their with my daughter trying to get some clothes of her, so I went to one of the store personal to ask a question. And the way how she respond was extremely disrespectful…. customer service is disgusting, and as thr store open I’m going to return what purchase, but I van assure this that I will never ever shop ay the place again.By Skul duggery (4 months ago)Visited on Jan 2nd mid day. Doors were locked, no note on door. Left came back 1 hour later still locked up. Continued running more errands and came back and finally doors were unlocked. The girl working was extremely passive extremely and just plain out ignorant! She was also talking to her mother on the phone while checking people out. Would really like to speak to a manager about how bad my experience was.By W W (a year ago)This location is a nightmare. The store looks like it’s been looted, the employees don’t greet or ask if you need help. On one visit, it opened 20 minutes late. On another visit, there was a sign saying “be back in 15 minutes”. I waited a half hour and no one ever showed, so I left. How is this store still open?By Kara (a year ago)Witnessed the horrific treatment per video of a mother and children!
The mother could not wear a mask for medical reasons and was harassed and was refused service.
The mom was physically upset and was physically shaking.
Horrendous treatment, feel so sad for that poor mom.
Will never shop there.By Lisa StPierre (a year ago)Horrible waited in line for about 30 mins while one associate worked and helped another customer. I don’t mind if you help a customer but when you have 3 people waiting longer than I, you should be considerate and at least help in the front as well.By Yesenia Cortes (3 years ago)

Place cash is a joke and the sales associates could care less about losing a loyal customer. I spoke with an assoc. the day after the coupon expired and was told they don’t honor after the printed date. I called back and asked for contact info for the D.M. and the mgr. got on the phone. Point is a person still has to spend cash to redeem the coupon. So this tells me that they will not be in business for too much longer because a sale is a sale and the customer should be serviced as so. Last purchase they offered a credit card and I’m really glad I declined. Bye Bye Children’s Place!By Marissa B. (2 years ago)Flatbush Ave location in Hartford, CT has a manager with curly hair and a lazy eye. She is very rude and impatient, both occasions I shopped there I had the same experience with her. I got the vibe the first time, the second time confirmed it. My first born, my first time shopping in babies stores. I said I’ll never shop at a children’s place again.By Derrick Rose (6 years ago)Staff too busy talking with each other. I needed assistance with reaching corporate and I waited in line for 25 minutes for assistance and finally left. Didn’t follow appropriate mask wearing. They were not customer focusedBy joann urso (2 years ago)Worst staff.. they don’t greet customers properly and act if we are getting clothes for free.By Neeraj Kumar (6 years ago)There were numerous deals on all clothing item for children and I just had to grab a few itemsBy Diedrie Gibbs (5 years ago)

Clothes are adorable but my shopping experience was uncomfortable. One employee was being very rude to a coworker about hanging sunglasses. If she will talk to her coworker in front of a customer that way I can only imagine how terribly she treats her when there are no customers there to witness it.By Amanda Batista (9 months ago)The store was disgusting every display destroyed. Sale signs everywhere shelving on the floors . My fiance tripped on one and could of really gotten hurt so much random stuff everywhere we couldn’t even fit our sons stroller. Waited 10 minutes for someone to help us but a couple shirts very disappointingBy nicole elwell (3 years ago)Amenda and Mindy were fabulous!! Went above and beyond with customer service. Highly recommend the store.By Michele Da Silva, Esquire (a year ago)I hate shopping in store they always have something to say with the coupon and they don’t let me use it meanwhile online let me use all kinds coupon but unfortunately Friday I need some clothes for my niece out state that’s why I had to go to the store.By Kenia pimentel (6 years ago)Love this location. Not sure I understand the return policy. My wife returned Xmas presents with no receipt. She was told that the items are now in the sale rack which is not a problem. But then she was told that she will not be given store credit and must right now chose identical items from the sale rack meaning T-shirt for a tshirt or dress for a dress. Which is a little better at first she was told to find the identical product but a different size and under her breathe the sale associate said, “good luck with that, it’s a mess.” Is this the returned policy for the parent company?
I love the clothes here but the staff is so incredibly rude and unhelpful. One of the male clerks acts like he’s doing you a favor by helping you check out. I think he actually sighed the other day when I asked him a question. It’s such a shame. I refuse to shop at the Dedham location going forward. The store itself feels dirty and unorganized as well. Also, the prices online are half the price as the store. The store will match the price however there is no cell reception in the store – the clerk told me it’s a dead cell phone zone ! Do youself a favor and shop online.
Incredibly rude staff. There is an African American woman with dreads, I didn’t catch her name on the name tag. I went up to the register and asked her to price something for me… she proceeded to point to the price scanner at the rear of the store. She wasn’t doing anything and could have easily checked the price for me. I ended up leaving the item. I hate her. She is always so damn rude and hate this location because of the staff! Do better with hiring people with some sense of customer service!
The customer service is non existent in this store, there is no order in terms of lines, people are allowed to skip the lines depending on skin color, there is a lot of prejudice in this store especially from the African American toward myself a woman of color, I’m so glad I had a witness there to say I was actually first on line otherwise both her and the other lady would have treated me poorly, I asked how the line system works and the other white lady said it doesn’t matter, really!! That’s how you speak to a customer, very disgusting, last time I went there the other male associate was also rude. Nice store but rude people.
Whats going on with these unfriendly ppl. The staff is beyond lazy. No one says hi or asks if you need help. Not a thank you or have a nice day or anything .
So bad and unconfortable experiemce. Not the way it used to be. Wont be returning .
