  1. The Stunning National trust Crantock beach and dunes , NT car park adjacent which gets very busy in the summer months private car park also close by , ferry boat or low tide bridge takes you to the popular Fern Pit Cafe with its amazing views.

  2. Really lovely beach! River area great for paddle boarding and for kids to splash about it, lots of rock pools and caves to explore, and sand dunes are great for sand boarding! Be warned the car parks fill up sooooooo early and the beach can get quite crowded along the river side.

  3. This beach is great. The views are super and the sea is very clean. The price for parking isn’t bad considering it’s National Trust. Toilets, Food & Watersport facilities on site. It’s a great place for dogs and the family for a day trip or just a few hours. If your in the area then visit you won’t be disappointed

  4. One of my favourite spots near Newquay for being on the beach! The parking spot is great here, gets very busy during peak season but is ideal for people who want to park close to the beach.

We love paddle boarding from here so it’s great we don’t have far to carry the boards, can only paddle at high tide and everyone should be very careful with the tide here since it can be strong and dangerous at times!

Coffee truck is here most days and there’s also a ice cream box and toilets however they are locked in the evenings.

Doesn’t ever seem busy in the evenings here, can still park and enjoy the sunset but they use a bar at the entrance to stop vans and campers getting in for the night, this happens about 6pm roughly!

  5. Love this beach so much. Have been visiting here since I was a young girl. Quite busy these days. Great little sandwich van on there too. Dog friendly. Large beach!

Although the veiw is stunning the hill down to the beach is very difficult to get down for disabled people (ie wheelchair hard to walk or breathing issues) the hill is steep on the way up and down. But beautiful beach clean, waters clear warm and pleasant. The caves are fun for the children. The surf school still leave plenty of space for the day trippers. Lovely views.

    Lovely little beach.
Bit of of a little walk down though.
Spent a nice sunny afternoon there.
    The dogs 🐕 loved it.
Great to have a bar there too.

Not the golden sands of Porthcurno, but it’s okay for a hot afternoon to cool down. Spectacular sunset to take your breath away.

Lovely to look at and take pictures, but difficult for wheel chair users as the slope is too steep.

A very beautiful, spacious sandy beach, and one I enjoyed visiting. Not quite unspoilt, but still pretty stunning given that it’s just below the centre of Newquay. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area!

This beach is absolutely gorgeous!! If you were blindfolded and dropped here, you would honestly think you were abroad somewhere. There is gorgeous golden sand, and beautiful sea. This beach would not be recommended for bathing however, as the sea is quite rough, but awesome for body boarding and surfing.

Really nice big beach full of surfers enjoying the waves and families enjoying the large beach 🏖️. Really lovely place for food called The Nook, located just below @seasprayfistral. They have a really delicious menu and have great customer service.

Family friendly sandy beach, amazing view, however, it gets very busy, dog friendly (loads of them) good facilities such as toilet, shower and a pub, lifeguards presence all over. Good for surfers too.

Such a beautiful walk along the shoreline, great rock pooling for all ages and abilities.

Plenty of parking at the top of the hill, but if you’re lucky you may get parked for free along the cliff at South fistral.

Free public toilets at the top of the stairs, a cafe and bistro at the bottom of the stairs at South.

A large carpark at the North and a beautiful beachfront cafe on the shoreline.

    Very highly recommended beach break!

Super dog friendly beach with a big swath of sandy shore. Somewhat away from the main streets of Newquay, making it a good place to check out if you’re in the area. My personal favorite is how shallow the beach is, making the beach reach back a good 100 meters at low tide. Good views of the rocky shore and Headland hotel nearby.

This is the best beach I’ve ever been to in the UK, never thought I’d ever spend a whole day at the beach, I was wrong! We had best week for the weather. We found parking on the Fistral Beach car park which is like a 5 min walk to the beach, so many things to for all, Surfers paradise just a day before the boardmasters festival so missed the major crowds and fees. Nice sandy beach with plenty of space for all, sunset to die for a well according to my daughter. We’ll definitely come back here again.

Some great views and pristine beach.

Lovely private beach with Hotel Colonial on the way. Parking is for customers only so not a good idea to drive down as you may get a fine. Beach has many corals and caves! Amazing views..

Lovely clean beach lots of families on and couples enjoying the 🌞
One thing no soap in toilets to wash hands properly and it says no dogs allowed but dogs was on there. Beach bar where you can buy food tea ect and ice cream.

Long slope down or take the many (many!) steps but well worth it.
Medium sized beach great for families.
Good sand for building castles. Rock pools and caves to explore when the tide goes out.
    Attentive lifeguards on duty
Cafe/bar for snacks, beer, ice cream etc.
Small terrace area with tables, but you do get some table hogs who camp there for hours unchallenged.
Toilet facilities available behind the cafe. (ok, not luxurious but at least you have some)
Bit confused about dogs. Signs say no dogs but plenty of them on the beach.
We stayed near Lusty Glaze beach and intended to go there but walked to Tolcarne every day instead.
Just wish there were less steps!

Really nice beach, two ways down both steep. A narrow road or a lot of steps but worth the effort. A cafe and a restaurant for those who don’t want to sit on the beach all day.
