- Reviews:It’s rather disappointing that every other walmart in the area is stocked better than the one that’s in my neighborhood. The biggest areas of shelve stocking issues for me is soft lines (clothes) and automotive. The way the store is currently stocked in those areas you almost have to dig through everything to find what you need. It would be great if management could focus on getting the items in the right place on the shelf.By David Hanley (2 years ago)Why on Super Bowl Sunday did you only have 3 check out line available. You should’ve been prepared for the rush. Even your shelves weren’t properly stocked. The self check out line was wrapped around into the produce section. Get your overnight people to properly stock the shelves so your day time people are out of the way of shoppers. And get some cashiers or at least learn when to call cashiers to registers to help with crowds of people. Stood in line for 30 minutes yesterday. You’ve got to do better!By Nichelle Lucas (3 months ago)This particular Walmart location gets a true and honest rating of 3.5 since there are no initial half ratings on here, I’ll round it down to a 3. I go here at least once a week every month and selection and prices as well as quality round out pretty high all things considered. However the customer service and friendliness is lackluster hence the low overall rating. You will be quicker finding an uncommon Walmart item to purchase, via your Walmart app, thank thank you would asking an employee. Shop with diligence #HappyLivingFolks #AbasiAkanKnowsBy Abasi Akan (2 weeks ago)Great!!!! Nice and neat. Employees wasn’t dirty looking and smelling like weed. Fast cashiers. Maybe the store manager should sent other store managers some tips. H street walmart is ghetto and employees are dirty looking and losers. Not all. A few decent ones with some sense and manners.By carolyn walker (7 months ago)3 checkouts open on a Friday afternoon. Stood in line for over 10 minutes. Asked about motorized cart for my sister – greeter said there weren’t any available – I walked down to the other door and there were 2 sitting there fully charged. Asked where the plus sized clothing was – attendant just pointed and said “down there” and made no effort to help us find what we were looking for. Not a good shopping experience at this store.By Andrea Lee (3 months ago)

- Reviews:The lady who worked at Walmart went above and beyond to help me find a wine opener. They put it in an isle that had nothing to do with wine near the milk isle. She was really friendly and explained why stores do this because it leads you to buy a whole lot of other stuff to go with the wine opener. Lol. Like plan to cook an entire romantic dinner and all the stuff that goes with it; food, candles, new bedding, cute outfit, perfume, etc, etc. ,😂😂😂 All I wanted to do was have a glass of wine by myself. Lol. No wonder the wine opener was such a great deal. ,😄😄😄By Christine McCuauley (2 months ago)I loath this Walmart with a passion. Aside from being out of stock of almost everything daily, it is unorganized, disheveled and you almost seem to be a bother to the associates. I pretty much avoid at all costs.By K Argilan (4 months ago)It was an okay experience, the prices weren’t as reasonable as I first thought it’d be. Honestly, a portable stove shouldn’t be $30.00. In fact its 15.00 just for 1 burner while 2 was 30.00. I find it ridiculous. I went to get towels and wash clothes. Honestly I am grateful there is a dollar store or family dollar, because lord have mercy the price just for 1 towel was 10-13 dollars! The wash clothes were about 1.79 or so…not bad but I saw some that were up to $5.00-7.00. There’s no way I want to pay 10 or 14 dollars for a towel when the dollar store is less… I know prices have gone up, since last time I got me a burner. I paid only $9.99 for a 2 burner before… But it’s crazy how now I have to pay double the price on both. I wasn’t too happy 😓honestly for the 1 burner it wasn’t worth no $14.99 that should’ve been only $7.99 to $9.99…By Kagome Higoroshi (2 weeks ago)The biggest problem I had was at check-out I noticed only 2 people at checkout #5 yet the light was out. So I ask the cashier if she was open and she said “no” so I went to another line but then I noticed she kept taking people the whole time I was in line. She also told the lady in front of me the same thing…after 15min or so her line do start to grow, but notice she kept her light off…By Jr Hill (8 months ago)We are there to get some White candles. And there’s a door lady help us get direct to the right spot👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻in and out like 10 minutes. Super. Just not much to choose from. Still a good trip. Place is organize. I like it. Self checkout also works well. I will be back other timeBy mei brown (3 months ago)

This is one of thee worst Walmarts to even shop at ….. everytime I give them the benefit of doubt …. I should’ve just remembered my previous experience….. their lines are always through the aisles …. every single line that is open …. and they only have 4 maybe 5 checkouts open …… not to mention how slow they move . This is ridiculous!! We’ve been waiting in line for at least 20 mins now
Follow-up: A manager did call me in response to this review which is appreciated. I think she got my # from a Walmart email survey with a copy/paste of my experience below. She said they have problems getting workers to show up for shifts. Regardless of the reasons, it makes for a bad experience for customers, so why would people return?
Original review:
Do NOT come here. My god. Hire more workers. Checkout lines were insane on a random Tuesday night. 25 minutes. No exaggeration. Lines were backed up far into the clothing sections.. Almost no checkout lines were open. Guy in line says it’s always like this and he usually doesn’t come here because of it. Horrible management. They’re losing money.
I have the same experience every time at this Walmart. The employees don’t have the best customer service; the cashier I encountered today did not speak during the entire transaction( not even hello). The dairy/juice area is completely empty, veggies/fruits full of mold and under tables, and the frozen wings are gone. The ladies that work in the Return/Exchange department and greeters will be the only friendly customer service you experience. Extremely long lines with limited registers open. 2/10 would only recommend if you are dying for what you need. The aura of this Walmart is ratchet with a mix of heroine.
The employees at this Walmart are extremely racist towards white people, disrespectful and lazy.
I think this location has the worst customer service in the entire Maryland region. I think someone from the corporate office should visit this store unannounced and clean house from the store manager to every employee.
Online pickup service is the worst:
More than likely you will not receive your order, especially in a timely manner. Employees are extremely disrespectful towards delivery drivers and customers. They are unorganized.
An employee at the pick up location try to belittle me, disrespect me and basically assaulted me for asking a question. I stood my ground and the situation is supposed to be under investigation. 🙄 I doubt anything will happen. I made some phone calls, and I plan on making some more.
I recommend all delivery drivers door-dash, spark driver, uber eats and many more to stay far away from this location. You will only be wasting your time and gas.
I think the only way something is going to change is if we as delivery drivers STOP 🛑 excepting orders and customers stop placing orders at this Walmart! The best way to get someone’s attention is to cost them money.
Went there this morning to have a tire put on a rim and they scratched my rim with deep scratches. The service manager Davon is horrible, unprofessional and don’t need to be in the front handling customers at all. I know I am not the only one that had a bad experience with him. He must have thought I don’t have any knowledge about cars and tires. Try to tell me there would be scratches all the way around if the did it. You can clearly see where the new tire was installed and the scratches and fresh from you unprofessional guys that need some training. I can’t understand how they scratched the middle of the rim. Walmart 3601 Washington Blvd arbutus MD. If you buy the tire take somewhere else to have it installed
